《MY Sweet Interlude》8-Lunch

The room got quiet as everyone's eyes went to them. Aliya hears someone curse but she couldn't just guess who it was. She looks around the table seeing everyone's different reactions. She couldn't help but smile when she saw the anger in Taehyung's eyes. Jia's hand is on his arm as if trying to hold him back. She throws a sideways glance at Yoongi and sees him looking at her. She couldn't read the expression on his face. She holds her smile and bites her lower lip to stop herself from chuckling as the feeling of elation bursts right through her. Having done something no one expected her to do, not obeying what she is told, is what makes her feel this way. She was feeling so down yesterday and today although she is still hurting, she feels liberated.
Aliya goes past the men and headed straight to Jia. "Hi Jia, the glow in you face shows how happy and loved you are." She said as she hugged her. They were just about the same height but Jia's heels were just slightly higher than Aliya's which made her look taller.
"Thank you. You Look great yourself." She greeted back. "Tae is pissed." She whispers as she hugged her. "I hope you two just bumped into each other going here." She is talking about Yoongi of course.
"Yes he does look mad and no we didn't." She said through her teeth. She hears the other woman gasp and throws her a worried look. She's probably scared how Taehyung will react. Why would he care anyway, he is already married in the first place and this is her life. She is bracing herself for whatever reaction he might have though. Jia turns as Aliya moves in front of Taehyung, ready to help her if she needed it.
"Hi Tae."
"Be honest with me, you two just ran into each other going here right?" His voice is low which showed he was trying to control his anger.
"No." Aliya replied meeting his eyes briefly before looking away. Her heart started pounding as she did, her hands got clammy and cold as she hears his sharp intake of breath. Ok, she's losing her courage now that she is standing in front of him.
"I told you last night to stay away from him and head straight to your room but you didn't listen. You did completely the opposite of what I said." He said his eyes showed how angry he is at her.

"I don't see any reason why you should be all upset over this when I am completely fine." She managed to reason out. He is standing in front of her, his back towards everyone so they can't see his face. Jia places a hand on his arm one more time as she listens to their conversation. She whispers for Taehyung to sit back down.
"For now you're fine." He simply replied turning his back at Aliya as he sits back on his chair, listening to what his wife asked him.
Aliya is a bit puzzled not knowing what to say next. What was she supposed to say to him, sorry? Why? He can't decide for her who she can and cannot sleep with or for whatever decision she has to make.
She gathers her composure then walks past him heading towards Nari, who hugged her tight.
"That is quite an entrance girl. But I do believe you know exactly what you're doing so I won't question you at all." She lightly touched the other woman's cheek and gave her a tender smile. Aliya thanks her and gave her a grateful look.
"Are you ok Aliya?" Namjoon asks her.
"I'm always ok, you know me." She replies with a wink, exchanging fist bumps with him and they both laugh.
Jin was next to them and said. "Taehyung sure is angry Aliya, I've never heard him curse in front of Jia before."
"Well, there's always a first time for everything." Aliya replies as she continues to walk.
"That was you in Yoongi's room Aliya? You didn't bother say hello." Hoseok jokes but is watchful of her expression.
"I wasn't sure how you guys would react if I did, so I stayed put." Aliya replies lightly although her face is burning in embarrassment as she openly admits to everyone she spent the night with Yoongi.
"We need to talk." Jimin says as she passes him.
"Yes we do need to talk." Jungkook agreed. "Were you too drunk to hear what I told you last night?"
Aliya looks at the two men who each stood next to her. She shakes her head. "Not today boys. I already had to deal with Taehyung's temper so no more of this please." She replies as she tries to go past them, but Jungkook catches her arm and he gently pulls her back.

"You're sitting with us." He says as he moves seats so that she'd sit next to him and Jimin. Yoongi is standing next to Jimin. She throws a look at the empty seat next to him.
"But I..." Aliya starts to speak when Jimin cut her.
"You are sitting here." He never used that tone on her before. Well, she said it herself, there's a first time to everything. She couldn't help but look at him in confusion before looking at everyone around the table. Namjoon and Jin attempts to start a conversation so that everyone's eyes will be away from them. Hoseok looks at her sympathetically, Jia continues to whisper something to Taehyung who didn't look at her direction. Her eyes landed on Yoongi's and this time, his expression isn't hard to read, he looks angry.
"Just sit-down Aliya." Jungkook softly whispers this time.
Aliya plopped herself on the chair avoiding everyone's eye. She expected them to be angry but not to this extent, they are so over reacting. She is relieved when her phone starts to buzz and when she checks the screen, she sighs in relief to see that it's her mom. She knows exactly when to help her out even if she's unaware of her situation right now. She pushed her chair back to stand away from everyone to take the call. Her mom just wanted to know if Aliya is having dinner at home. She needs her mom's comfort tonight when reality starts to dawn on her again, so she said tells her mom yes she'll be home tonight.
When she ended her mom's call, there was a steady conversation around the table. A server came in to take their orders for their drinks. Aliya just asked for Sprite since it always helps her with her hang over. She's glad she took the hang over medicine Yoongi gave her earlier, it helped her with her headache.
Jimin looked at her, his expression different from what he had on earlier. "Sorry for talking to you that way. I was just surprised."
She didn't answer pretending not to hear him. She excuses herself from the table and she walks towards the washroom. She just wants him to feel that she's hurt for treating her like she's an incompetent child. They're looking out for her welfare sure, but all of them getting angry at the same time is too much. She isn't surprised to see Nari and Jia in there when she comes out of the cubicle. They looked at her in concern.
"Sweetie, I know the boys are overreacting. I want to let you know that I am supporting whatever decision you made. You have your reasons for sure." Nari said placing an arm around her shoulders.
"I tried to explain to Tae that he has to let you make your own decisions too. He feels that Yoongi will just toy around with you." Jia said rubbing Aliya's arm.
Aliya is grateful that they were here for her. Even Jia, who had no idea why she is acting this way at all. She is a really nice person, her jealousy just kept her from acknowledging it. "I know exactly what I am getting into." She explains to them. "I am just tired of being treated like some kind of a porcelain doll that'll break if handled the wrong way. I don't want a serious relationship with anyone right now and I guess I am just curious to learn about things...specially when they're all telling me Yoongi is dangerous. Do you know what I mean?"
Nari and Jia exchanged knowing looks as they both grinned. "We know exactly what you mean. You're experimenting, I think we go through that, it's just that the guy you're experimenting with is someone they all know that is why they are acting that way."
Aliya can see why Nari and Namjoon were a perfect fit for each other, they both had a smart way of looking at things.
"They will all get over it. It's not like they're saints, right?" Jia said with a chuckle.
"Exactly." Aliya agreed.
"Amen to that." Nari laughed. She reached out and cupped Aliya's face. "Now, keep on flashing your pretty smile and stand firm on what you decided to do. Let's go back."
