It was Kanato's brother, Ayato. You wondered why he was talking to you.

"Yes?"

"Have you seen 2413?"

You narrowed your eyes at him. "He has a name you know."

"Tch, our dad allowed us to call him that." He said. "Now have you?"

You shook your head. "No. I haven't."

"Tsk." He rolled his eyes. "Where the hell would he even go?"

"To class? This is school."

"Baka, it's dismissal."

"Maybe he's doing something for someone?"

"Like hell would he do that." Ayato told you. Then he smirked. "But what if someone's doing something for him.."

"Like?"

"Oh you know, the usual. He might be drinking some other girls blood."

What he said sent you angry, yet it also made you doubt Kanato. "And why would he do that?"

"Maybe because he's bored with you." The red head shrugged. "Anyway, I've got to find 2413."

With that, he went past you and left you, feeling confused.

Him? Bored with you? It couldn't be!

But there's a possibility, it's Kanato anyway.

"Y/N!"

"Huh?" You turned to face the one who called you. "Oh, Logan."

"Do you think we could do the project today?" He asked.

"Why?"

"I've got a busy schedule on that day. It's impossible to do it." He reasoned out. It didn't seem like a lie to you. "Anyway, could we?"

"Okay then." You nodded. "We'll be doing it at my house right?"

"Yeah, unless you want to do it at my place."

"Er, nah, let's just do it at mine." You quickly said. Something just didn't feel right if you did it at his house, you had a feeling of uneasiness.

"Okay then." He had this look on his face that you didn't get. Nonetheless, you ignored it.

And let the feeling of unease continue to linger.
