《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 200

Since the appearance of worldbuilding, humanity has discovered many things about it, while many more are still a mystery to this day.

One of the things that researchers have to confirm is the requirement to obtain a world. All adults and children have one, but what about babies and animals?

There have been cases of four-year-old children that managed to reach rank one in their world, allowing them to interact with other's people worlds. But things become complicated as we look at younger kids.

Even if it had been confirmed that some kids have a world, younger kids tend to need help understanding how to use their world's cores to create add-ons, making it impossible for them ever to reach rank one.

But what happens with children born after the appearance of worldbuilding? After these months, they are still too young to talk, so knowing if they possess a world of their own is impossible at the moment, so we can only wait until they start talking so we can ask them directly.

Another mystery is the animals.

After all, who are we to negate the possibility of animals having their own worlds? There hasn't been a single case until now, but we can't rule out any possibility when discussing worldbuilding.

While the two bullies left, Xan stood still while looking at the few remaining flames burning his mother's maps.

Multiple emotions filled his mind at the moment, with anger and frustration being the most predominant. At first, it looked like he had managed to save the maps, but Blorg's appearance had complicated everything, leading him to destroy one of the few things he had left from his mother.

He had already prepared to say goodbye to them, but he had only accepted it because they would be safe in Freya's possession, and he would get a cultivation technique in exchange.

Instead, he had lost the maps and needed to find a new way to get the cultivation technique, leaving him in a tough spot.

He had already confirmed that his belongings and savings weren't valuable enough to exchange them for a cultivation technique, leaving him with few possibilities.

He could go with his plan about creating his cultivation technique using historical records and any information he could gather. Still, he felt it would take too long to obtain a low-quality technique.

Also, after what just happened, he didn't feel capable of sitting in a library for hours while calmly researching through dozens of books. His desire to kick Blorg's ass had grown to limits he didn't even know he could reach, so he wanted to start cultivating as soon as possible.

That only left him with one possibility.

He knew Rad had a diary with his cultivation techniques in his room, and he was pretty sure that when he told him about it, his idea was for Xan to try and steal it as if it were a test.

Maybe he misunderstood the situation.

Maybe Rad was only a poor old man who didn't know what he was saying, but he felt he needed to try.

He knew that if they caught him stealing from someone else's room, he would get into trouble, but Xan felt that if he didn't try, he wouldn't get another chance like that and would stay in that situation for the rest of his life.

Decided, he returned to his room and waited until it was dinner time.

Even though each room had its own kitchen, most people in the second area still preferred to visit the canteen so they would get their food prepared by someone and eat by the side of their second area's companions.

When the time arrived, Xan left his room and sneakily walked near Rad's room. He stood on the watch for the next few minutes, making sure no one realized what he was doing while waiting for the old man to leave his room.

A quarter-hour later, the man left the room, leaving the door unlocked, to Xan's surprise.

'Maybe he has forgotten about it.' he thought.

As soon as Rad left his visual area, Xan ran toward the door and stormed into the man's room. Looking around the room, he soon found a brown book with "Rad's diary" on its cover.

Without losing a second, he took the book, hid it under his shirt, and left toward his room as fast as he could.

His heart beat fast while his legs began to lose strength, but as soon as he got to his room, Xan felt safe.

He locked the door behind him and sat on the couch before opening the book and reading its contents.

The book explains how to start cultivating and building a solid foundation for one's cultivation. It taught some martial arts while at the same time teaching spell crafting theories so Xan could learn how to create his own spells.

Xan was amused by the information he was getting, but his amusement soon turned into fear as he advanced.

"How to use corruption to boost one's cultivation." "How to sacrifice souls to a patron to get rewards." "How to destroy your enemies' minds to make them your slaves."

Those were the techniques and information of a cultist and the ones of a powerful one. As he realized what was happening, Xan's body began to shake uncontrollably before standing up and walking toward the door.

He needed to warn the Yellow Blood Family and its subordinates about Rad's true origin before anything happened, even if that would cost him punishment for stealing.

But before he could leave the room, a hand fell on his shoulder, stopping his movement completely.

"Where do you think you are going?" Rad said after he appeared behind Xan from out of nowhere.
