《Sir Crabby (Progression Litrpg)》Author Afterword Book 2

And so the end of Book 2 has been reached! It’s been an exciting thing for me to write thus far. I wanted to answer a few questions I’ve received from various readers.
Question 1: This story gets pretty dark sometimes. How is this comedy?
A: In my humble opinion, there has to be stakes. There is no light without the dark, and so on. Otherwise it turns into something like the Simpsons. (Entertaining on its face value, but there’s not an emotional involvement with the characters or story because you know they’re just a vehicle for crass humor that will never end).
Question 2: There seems to be a melding of genres in the story/work, is there a point?
A: I believe I’ve alluded to this in the afterword of the first book, but each book serves as a parody of a specific genre, (in addition to working as a vehicle for the overarching plotline). So, the first book was a parody of a dungeon crawl, the second was a parody of the military, and the third & fourth books…. Will be revealed in time.
Question 3: The story format/pacing seems a little different than what I’m used to on RR.
A: It’s meant to be a series of books, not a web serial. This is not a story that will extend thousands of chapters for almost a decade.
Question 4: How many books do you currently have planned?
A: I’m not a huge fan of series that never end. (Looking angrily at you Rothfuss, Martin, Butcher et. al). I currently plan to wrap the story up with a total of 4 books, so we’re halfway there. That may change depending on what the future holds.
Question 5: So you’re teaming up with Ryan Rimmel to publish, what’s up with that?

A: Ryan has been a fantastic help with refining and developing the story. That being said, with the published version of the novel, the story is essentially the same, just with some pleasant additions. You won’t be missing out on anything vital (plot wise) if you continue to read here. An audiobook is also being made, so if you enjoy listening over reading, that is always an option.
Question 6: How can I support your work?
A: There’s always Patreon of course, though I am more of a manic writer that updates to the hilt, and then crashes for a week or two. It’s a flaw, and I’m working on it haha. But, pre-ordering or downloading/reading the first book when it comes out on November 8th would be incredibly helpful. Link here: https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B0B6Q9THF2
If this does well enough, then maybe I can write for a living, haha.
Question 7: When is the first book being removed again?
A: October 25th.
Question 8: When does the next book start?
A: October 24th. (I’m taking this week to finalize some plot points and take a mental break).
I hope you all have enjoyed the journey so far. If you have any questions, leave them below and I’ll try to answer them as I can.

Dracula: Patient zero
A new take on the subject of vampirism. Who was the patient zero? What do we truly know about Vlad the impaler ? A quick look at the man behind the legends known today as Dracula the first Nosferatu. ------ Author's note: I'm self-taught in English, so the grammar may suck. I'm no professional writer so the writing style may suck. I hate FF that spend entire chapters describing stuff.. So my describing skills may suck. The main character will also suck... (Blood) I'm writing this just for fun, so if you enjoy, good for you... If not.. Then suck it..

8 80Hero:Generation
UPDATES WEEKLY The world of Hero: Generation diverges from our own in the 1970s on a night known as “The Aurora Event”. Beautiful and luminescent weather phenomena covered the planet, for ten short minutes every corner of the Earth was underneath a cascade of lights in the sky. It was days later before reports began to filter in, more than could be suppressed by Governments and Nations. The Alphas had arrived. A small percent of the global population began to exhibit otherworldly and super natural abilities, changing the course of humanity. The Vietnam Occupation ended over night, as each ruling nation took action to respond. In the coming years Alphas would begin to change the globe. Russia eventually became an Alpha nation ruled by a mysterious figure only known as Father Winter. America, Europe, and Australia become even larger superpowers as their Alpha populations exploded, in time a United Nations force known as The Guardians was established to police and document the Alpha emergence. The worlds foremost expert in Alpha studies, Dr. Pavel Laghari invented a system known as the Laghari Scale, that scored Alphas on a scale of 1 to 10 across a wide array of parameters ranging from relative physical abilities to other parameters. Now, in most civilized countries Alphas are required to be assessed the moment their powers manifest, or be in strict violation of local and international laws. In this Age of Heroes , The Guardians have designed a new Initiative to recruit younger Alphas and set them on a path to greatness. Every year teenage Alpha’s from all over the globe flock to secure locations to take part in the Guardians crucible. Many will enter, but few will earn the right to call themselves a Guardian.
8 208Cosmic Bulldozing Team
"Welcome to the Cosmic Bulldozing Team! CBT for short... references to any other acronyms are purely coincidental." Breve has one exceptional gift: an inborn potential for Resurrection magic. The cost? Every other healing spell she casts is absolutely paltry in comparison to the rest of her race, making her family outcasts within her society. That potential alone, however, classes Breve as a Rank A Healer. By what metric? Well, by the crazy elf lady who’s about to destroy her planet. Wait, what? Here's the low-down: her planet has been targeted by the Cosmic Bulldozing Team, which, as their name suggests, operates in the apparently lucrative business of destroying planets. This comes with the unfortunate side-effect of also murdering everyone who lives there. And Breve would’ve been killed, too, if she hasn’t unintentionally passed their audition for a new healer. Unwillingly saved by the people who just annihilated everything Breve ever knew and loved, she’s dragged into a massive spaceship before, without a moment’s reprieve, being assigned missions to sally forth and commit the same atrocities on other planets. And with Breve's home lying in a pile of celestial bedrock, it seems that cooperating is the only option. And she will cooperate, or so help her, they'll send her back whence she came: into the void of space, where the smashed rubble of her planet now drifts along. "Buckle in, rookie: you've got some planetary destruction ahead of you." (Updates every 2 days.)
