《god of wealth》YOU DON’T MIND, RIGHT?

If you were speaking of a genius, then it would be this man in front of them. A well-known and notorious bandit all over the kingdom who has become a great boon to anyone who saw him.
He was a lone wolf, hence he couldn’t be easily tracked. A twenty-something-odd young-looking man with slim features which was perfect for him. He did not only look his age but was the age. Hence his pride could be accounted for. All kind of resources has been poured into trying to dig up his background but that has all proved to be futile as not a single thing has been found about him. The truth was actually that he wasn’t from the kingdom but the king has always doubted why would someone not from the kingdom be harassing them this much. He was actually from the empire and he was anything but a little fry over there who could be crushed easily. Talks about him would be said later on in the story though, now it isn’t about him but about the battle which is about to occur between the military troops and his pets which seems to be very much disadvantageous to the army no matter the angle it’s being looked from.
Olivia just sits on her horse while smiling wryly, she knew deeply that she can’t hold a candle to this young man in front of her.
This was the only bandit which she has to acknowledge that she didn’t have a single fighting chance. But she was after all a brave general and couldn’t just give up on fighting, she pulls out her sword which was on her waist with the full intention of dragging this man to the grave with her. But seems like she overestimates her abilities as in the next moment, the young man sits right beside her on her horse as a sharp dark-coloured knife with a golden handle was pressed behind her back, seemingly ready to pierce through her heart at any moment. She was seized with a total fear of this happening and now, she finally recognizes the strength of the person who was known to be the strongest in the kingdom after the secret guardian.
At this moment, the battle between the dogs and their playthings has started. It was a brutal one-sided game. In just a short moment, five soldiers have lost their lives. Andrew isn’t bothered about their deaths one bit and was about to storm off when he sees that the man who has always treated him, Lancelot was in danger of being killed by one of the mountainous dogs.
Gritting his teeth and remembering what Marian had told him about the man, he just jumps back in the direction of the man. Forgetting that he was injured and needed some time to recover from it, anything of any such that would put a strain on the body should have been avoided but that seems to be less likely as he has no choice in this matter, it was either he allows the dog to kill Lancelot and feel guilty for the rest of his life or to help him and allow him to live for some more days. He has after all made a promise to him due to all his services during the time he was injured.

Although Andrew was no good samaritan, he still kept tabs on the good being done to him, although it was due to orders, a good deed deserves the same in turn. He would have died if not for his expertise in the medical field, thus in a way, he owes his life to him.
Before making his decision though, his body moved forward at an incredible speed towards one of the dead soldiers who has been stepped on such that his body was in total munch but the sword by his side still seems to be in perfect condition and that was what Andrew was aiming for. With a speed unfathomable, he grabs hold of the sword and moves towards the beast. He moves with such speed and force that the sword sinks a bit into the body, although such a wound was negligible for such a huge beast, that negligible injury still annoys the huge dog as it turns its attention from Lancelot and focuses on this puny human who has done damage to it.
Although Andrew was able to hurt the beast in one stroke, he is still not able to rest at ease as he knew that the beast in front of him is more powerful than Lauretta who he had fought previously as beasts were normally more powerful than humans and it was through brains that they were able to overcome them.
But since coming to this world, he has noticed something astonishing. The beasts of this world were far more intelligent than those on earth and it even shone in their eyes, it was just that they had too much pride and detested the idea of even fighting with humans. That was a huge misuse of their intelligence in Andrew's opinion.
He believed that if they were less prideful and more scheming and cunning like the human species, they would be far more dangerous. But now he hoped that the pride would show at this time that would give him a chance at victory. He was currently down by fifty per cent of his powers if he fought normally and he is forcefully going all out reaching a huge eighty per cent but he knew that he would not be able to hold on for long. He has a maximum of five minutes tops or lesser at the state he was before going fully immobile. And he was currently facing three of Lauretta in just a beast at this moment. It seems like a great stretch for him but he has no choice but to do it.
Although he was holding one and Lucas was holding up one at the other side, one was still freed up which the soldiers have thought about ganging up on but that would be too much of a stress for them. He has seen the man holding off Olivia, hence she couldn’t even lend them a hand.
Gritting his teeth with his injuries threatening on opening up, he thinks about trying to finish this fight as quickly as possible. The arrow has been set loose and there was no turning back. He moves at such speed that defies all reasoning in order to land one or two fatal strikes on the beast but the dog-like beast moves at the same speed as he did.

Although he had expected this, it was still shocking to see that the beast was able to match his speed and do it with such ease at that. Blows were traded between a beast who was so huge and a puny human who held a sword in his hands. But Andrew was on the losing end in this confrontation as although his sword was sharp, it wasn’t able to truly pierce deep into the skin of the beast and he had to bear the brunt of the force with which the beast used in attacking him.
Seeing this, he couldn’t help but feel down as it doesn’t seem like he could deal with this beast and help with the other before running out of steam. It seems like he wouldn’t even be able to handle this beast but the person he wanted to save had gone far away though, or at least that was what he thought, but to his shock, he happened to see that he was being eaten by the one and only free dog beast.
Such is life, nothing can be predicted on a battlefield after all. He is able to get over it quickly since he had tried his best and if his best was not enough, he couldn’t do anything more, he would have loved to run away from this creature but he knew that he wouldn’t be able to last long even if he decided on trying to get away on his own.
It was at this moment that a voice sounds out, “Take this, it can be useful”.
He turns in the direction of the voice on which Olivia was still sitting on her horse, being held at knifepoint by the joker. He sees something flying towards him which he uses his hand to try catching.
Olivia’s voice sounds out once again, “I would advise you to hold the handle if you still value your hands”.
On hearing the warning, Andrew changes the way in which he was about to grab the object and was able to grab the handle as directed by Olivia. It seems very light in his hands like he wasn’t even holding anything. Looking at it closely, he could see that the object he now held in his hands is dark in colour. It was shaped like a sword but he hasn’t seen a sword this dark in colour, but all he had seen so far has been cutlasses, after all, so he can’t be blamed for not seeing this kind of sword. Edson had a sword of this kind but didn’t even use his sword while attacking Andrew hence he wasn’t able to see it. The sword was slim and its sharpness could be felt just by staring at it, he was now sure that Olivia wasn’t joking when she gave that warning. He didn’t even try testing its sharpness and just turns to face the dog beast. He had a feeling that he would be able to fight against it and defeat it at this moment. The right tool in the right hands can lead to countless victories after all.
“Huh”, the joker smiles while noticing the move by Olivia. “You don’t mind do you?”, she says noticing the fact that he was smiling. “Ohh, not really. Am just taking them for experience after all. So it won’t mind if they got hurt once or twice. I just came out to have fun, didn’t think I would find such talent among your troops. Just that won’t he be in trouble if he was to be reported using that sword?”, teeth shining, he replies to the question which was thrown at him and even adds a question of his own.
“I would handle everything that comes with it, so you don’t need to worry about that”, she replies. “Now, that you are in a chatting mood. I would like to ask a question”, the joker once again says in a serious tone.
Olivia frowns thinking about what he was about to ask but nothing comes to mind. “The thing is that”, he starts, “I want to ask how”, he keeps on pausing as if not knowing how to put the question he was about to ask and this draws the attention of Olivia fully it.
“How do you like your guys?”, he finally finishes the question which makes her dumbfounded. The question in and of itself was something casual and not so important by the way he started off the conversation with the frown which was initially plastered on his face as if he has been confused about answers to this question of his for a long time and was seeking the truth.
“You see. I plan to travel the world and ask for the preferences of all the women in the world”, he says after which he brings out a note from his robe, opening it, some wordings could be noticed on the book. His writing was mesmerizing though, eloquent and beautiful in its way. “As you can see, I have recorded a lot of women’s preferences. And with this I hope to develop myself in a way that all the women in the globe would get to love me”, he says while showing the wordings to Olivia.
Olivia was astonished by his thinking, how could someone so handsome and powerful be so mentally retarded that he thinks that he could get all the women in the world and at that want to develop his character after summarizing all their preferences. It was nothing but a joke.
“Well, are you going to tell me or not?”, he says while chuckling. But that chuckling in and of itself gave Olivia chills, she felt like if she didn’t say anything she could be killed in the next second without a doubt. His current behaviour did accentuate what has been said about him. His mood could change at the twinkling of an eye just based on wordings. He was like a child who would throw a tantrum if he didn’t get what he desired.

Shadow Overseer

Under the name of science, they tormented him and derived a sick pleasure from his pain. His dark life had a single solace in the form of his brothers and sisters sharing the same fate. Helping them escape cost Five his life, but he was happy knowing he did something for himself. After waking up, he finds himself as the son of a noble in a marvelous world filled with magic. In his second chance at life, he vows to protect himself and his family from anything that threatens to destroy his peaceful life. Follow Five on his path to supremacy. ********** This is a LITRPG novel, with the system playing a crucial, but supporting role. It isn't omnipotent and has definite origins which I'll explain later in the story. Another important aspect is world-building and crafting. I'll go into quite a lot of detail on both of them.

YAOS 1 - Limitless Adventures - Yet Another OP Story Book 1
December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and at Amazon. December 30th 2018: V1.1.2 of YAOS Book 1 is out, some content additions, fixed typos. Amazon's enhanced typesetting now displays tables properly. YAOS is shown through the eyes of some genius athlete getting OP inside a VR, ah wait, Full Immersion game, ?F.I.O?. Not a Hero, not a Nerd, just a driven individual paying for mistakes made, biding time until he can return to the Real World. He isn't defined like you'd normally do it, you can pick his looks and name all on your own, just like you do in video games. Believe it or not, keeping his looks undefined is harder than you think. His backstory isn't expounded in detail, but it drives his choices. Book 1 isn't about depressing sob stories but about fun and rushing forward, pursuing new horizons. Oh, and you'll end on a cliffhanger! Well, most serials do, so you will probably expect that without being told explicitly. But it isn't that bad, there's a lot of reveals and more to come once this book, that is the first in a planned three-part series, is finally ready for release on amazon et al. The published version will have: 1.) Godawful speaker tags, I hate them, they make you stop thinking and speed up editing so much. In hindsight they should have been in to begin with. But I stand by my goals proclaimed earlier. You guys should think while reading, that is the whole point of the exercise. Apply the knowledge and ideas, improve yourself, get creative! 2.) Pretty colored tables, the damned blue boxes, a lot of work, 69 in one book. Finally fixed amazon's centering issue. Can't say I liked the hours needed to debug that. 3.) The promised Mitara chapters. 4.) A cover! 5.) And lastly, updated polished versions of several chapters. MC shares more of his past, some terrible chapters (esp. 32) finally work. Some new scenes, minor rewrites in parts. Text flow and other issues. The current challenge is to maintain essential ambiguity while satisfying people wanting to know more without thinking three steps ahead. Balancing one with the other is tough. The smut which was in remains, but the story told is not to be superseded by it. A 15+ rating for the first book is also important, not to mention, YAOS wasn't meant to contain any smut to begin with. If the Author can turn to writing full time his output should increase, so please support YAOS #1 once it does finally release. ~Thank You~ No maps so far, that should be in, but is really hard to get done right. Again, tips are appreciated. Update September 2017: Stubbed chapters, sorry guys, currently don't have time to upload them elsewhere, polishing book 1 and 2, writing 3, takes precedence. Book 1 is in heavy editing, too much to keep synced and continuing editing. I'd need a site which offers JS-free rapid managing of chapters and comments. Coding one myself or setting a premade up is out of scope until I'm done with the books. RRL-old offered that, nuff said. This is only here because the author believes in fairies, nobody reads this, most likely. October to December 2017: Life threw some curveballs. February 2018: Book 2 draft 1 completed, at ~150K words. Book 2 is fairly epic in scope, requires 1 rewritten chapter, some editing. Tables and miscellanea are in, but needs at least a grammar pass. March 2018: Book 3 at 28k words, first arc, rest needs serious planning for spin-off and satisfying conclusion. July 2018: Yet another proofing/editing session of books 1-3, 101+ chapters, ~300k words. B3 at 48k, starts out great, but no ETA, no wordcount limit, in flux. But prioritizing my writing cannot be done, I hate the delays as much as you, but you will prefer the whole released in a timely fashion rather than wait. Knowing myself how excruciating waiting can be, at least you'll get significantly polished versions and an ETA on book 2 by release of book 1. December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and in the process at Amazon et. al.. . To all who wait patiently, offered feedback, thanks again!
