《The New World Rising : How to Build a Dungeon Kingdom》Chapter 9 - First Time in the Outer World

“Hey Lilith, I am ready to go out.”
“OK master we can go out, but didn't you level up after all that summoning again? I thought your spirit points replenished after you leveled up so I expected you to keep summoning monsters.”
“Yes, you are right. I did end up leveling up again. But honestly, I feel a little exhausted after using my spirit points to build new facilities and rooms and also summon more monsters. So, I will refrain from using my spirit points for a while until I feel better.”
What I said to Lilith was not of course false. Indeed, I felt like using the spirit points drained my energy. Perhaps it was only that this was the highest number of spirit points I used in such a short amount of time, so it's quite just possible that I'm not used to it to this extent.
As we left the dungeon for the outside world what greeted me was the sun shining beautifully over a vast plain of green. It appears that my dungeon is located somewhere close to the middle of an unexplored forest with not a single town in sight. while of course this isolated location has its benefits it also means that our contact with humanoid races who live on the outside world will be much less. This can also lead to lack of resources as we will not have as much chance to plunder the items of the dead soldiers who wander into our safe space with the sole reason of conquering it.
If my intuition is correct according to what Lilith said, because the monsters live in small groups and not in big cities like humanoid races who are more than willing to hunt monsters at sight, this unexplored forest might be home to some monster tribes.

“Do you know which way to go, Lilith?”
“We can go directly into the forest and we should be able to find a monster tribe soon enough.”
“What makes you say that?”
“You can sense it as well master. When there are monsters nearby there is this tingling feeling inside you. Dungeon masters have the skill that enables them to sense nearby monsters which do not belong to their dungeons. The witches also possess a similar skill via which they can sense those born of monster blood and those born of magic. This helps us identify monsters from humanoids.”
“And how do I use it?”
“That, I am not sure. The skill used by dungeon masters differ from how us witches sense non humanoids.”
When buying anything from the spirit shop before I reincarnated and as I used the spirit menu after I reincarnated, what I did was essentially to imagine the item on the menu. I do not think it would be false to assume right now that the way to sense any nearby monsters would be to imagine being able to sense them. Lilith just told me that she can sense whether a being has a monster blood. So, if I think of blood and try feel it, it should work out.
As I closed my eyes and concentrate on blood, I first felt the blood flowing within my veins. Then came Lilith’s blood. I tried to enlarge the radius of the circle around me within which I could sense the presence of blood. I started being able to sense smaller traces, perhaps belonging to insects of kinds. As I put my concentration into it the circle has become larger and larger. Eventually a large trace of life was found in the middle of the forest. I opened my eyes hastily.

“I think I found a tribe. It is located in the middle of the forest, although I do not know if they are monsters.”
“I am impressed but not surprised, master. Being able to sense a living being in the middle of the forest from over here is not a small feat for a newborn dungeon master.” Indeed, Lilith’s eyes were wide open in awe.
“It is all thanks to your explanation that I was able to do this.” I gave Lilith a warm smile only to be welcomed back with a blushing face.
“Now let us begin our journey!”
