The neural-stream jittered, lagged, and warped.
"What the hell?" asked Mitchel.
"Sorry, viewers. Apparently, 'Gen Unplug' is wreaking havoc on metaverse connections again," said an anchor.
"Gen Unplug?" asked Mitchel.
"Yes, that's what they're calling themselves now," answered Cheryl.
"A hacker group?" he asked.
"Not exactly. They claim to be an entire generation suffering from 'digital burnout' and advocate humankind return to a simpler hunter-gatherer lifestyle."
"A philosophy?"
"Yes, in fact, it's called Disconnectism."
The neural-stream cut off.
