Katelyn quietly sat in the most luxurious office in the university looking at the Vice-Chancellor mixing drinks at her wall table. She was yet to know why she had been called in the office, and it made her both unobtrusively concerned and interested in the call.

The most powerful woman in the university completed mixing the drinks and walked to Katelyn, holding two glasses of the drinks.

"My dear." She began with a friendly tone, "Do you know why we hold the key of life? Why we are above all creations?" She got behind the student and put one of the drinks before her on the executive desk of the office.

Katelyn was intrigued by her question and hospitality. She already knew of the power the woman held in the university, including her influence on critical matters that needed accomplishment, but she never knew the woman treated students with a level of cordiality as offering them drinks.

"And I mean us, women, my dear." The Vice-Chancellor continued and walked to the side of the table close to Katelyn, her drink at hand, "Do you know the special power we have? The power that can make all the other creations be at our service irrespective of who they are?"

Katelyn shortly hesitated, not knowing how to answer, "I... think it is because of our... nature?"

The woman of the office smiled, "I have always known how intelligent you are. Since we met at Elite and your novel shows it, too." She circled her glass top with a finger, "We have a supreme nature. The most indispensable and pertinent. It is in fact this nature that led us to the apple of knowledge. That is how we are. Nothing can stop us from getting what we want."

Katelyn stared, wondering where the woman was heading to. No clue whatsoever rang in her mind.

"My dear." The Vice-Chancellor said, "Of course, God created us to be their companions. But we have been more than that in their lives. Men are weak and fragile compared to us. That is why we are meant to lead them, to help them in their choices, decree..."

The Vice-Chancellor slowly started walking around Katelyn, "... evaluation, strength of will, strength of mind, judgment and certitude." She walked and came back and stood where she was, facing Katelyn, "That makes the saying behind every successful man is a woman, true." She paused, turning a picture on the table that had been laying there before Katelyn.

Katelyn's heart changed rhythm after seeing the picture. Now she completely got lost in the moment, and concern started creeping into her mind.

"He is a handsome fellow." The Vice-Chancellor said with a smile, "I can go ahead and say he is absolutely handsome, has great physical attributes, and a well-toned body. Any woman will certainly feel honored and blessed to be a partner of such a man. You are a lucky girl."

Katelyn's heart warmly beat as an involuntary smile curved up her lips from the information. The concern that was upon her seconds ago magically vanished.

"In fact, you are too lucky." The Vice-Chancellor said, "He is extraordinary. We haven't seen a student like him in Crownzone, not even Lemarh. He is exceptional and remarkable."

Katelyn now proudly smiled, her face lightened with a jubilant and boastful admiration. She never imagined she could feel this delightful when another person talked highly of the one that dominated her heart.

"But we found something that can possibly ruin his life- You."

Katelyn's smile instantly vanished, her expression now of clear surprise, "Me?"

"Yes, my dear, you." The Vice-Chancellor kept her soft, noticeable smile, "You can ruin him, totally destroy him if you want to. You have that power right at your fingertips."

Katelyn still stared in surprise and looked bewildered.

"We probed into his life and realized how much he loves you. We realized how madly he is into you. He can do anything for you, for your happiness, even getting into trouble by doing something stupid, impractical or unreasonable. Lei Noorhman can do that for you."

The earlier smile of admiration came back on Katelyn's lips, and this time with more feelings of elation.

"And that is his weakness." The Vice-Chancellor started walking behind Katelyn, "A man as powerful and extraordinary as he is, has his weakness beside him; the woman he loves." She stopped behind Katelyn and put her hands on Katelyn's shoulders,

"You have the power to influence him on anything, lead him where your thoughts wish and make him do anything you desire. He will only see it as your happiness, and he will guarantee it to you." The powerful woman said with her hands still on Katelyn's shoulders,

"That is the power we, women, hold. We can make them be at our service in whoever we wish- even the religious, strongest, most successful, or most intelligent. Your man for instance. He is quite intelligent."

The Vice-Chancellor mentioned and walked back to the side of the table where she had all along been standing, facing Katelyn.

Katelyn's eyes didn't leave her. She was still not able to connect what the woman's intentions were.

"And by that, my dear." The powerful woman said, "Comes the reason why you are here. We need your help to influence him on something, and don't worry, it is not something that will bring him any harm or effect. You love him as well, and you wouldn't do anything that will harm or affect him. Your feelings won't stand it. I believe I am right, yeah?"

Katelyn smiled balmily, "Yeah, I also deeply love him. But what do you want me to influence him on?"

"We want you to influence him to join the football team. The football association has come to know that he is greatly skilled in football, and his two friends as well. They seem to be like walking gods on the planet. They are brilliant in almost everything.”

“The football association approached them but they declined, saying that they only want to concentrate on their studies, but you and I both know how well-informed they are in their studies. I don't think if football, or any co-curricular activity they decide to take, will affect their studies in any way, don't you think?"

"Yeah, I guess so." Katelyn nodded, finding the point logical, "You are right. I don't see any harm there. I will do it."

The Vice-Chancellor widened her smile, "I am glad to hear that, my dear."

Katelyn smiled back, and suddenly, a differing thought occurred in her, "But how will I do it? To make sure I am successful?"

The Vice-Chancellor took a sip from her drink, "My girl, every woman is supposed to know her man. You are supposed to know his needs, dreams, desires, wishes, interests and penchants. Let that be your guide. It wouldn’t be a hard task."

Katelyn understood the information, and immediately an answer came to her. She smiled to herself with the answer, then reached for her drink and slowly sipped it as joy, love and pride welled up in her heart.
