Everyone ran in all different directions, as the flames grew higher.
Everyone was screaming in fear of burning alive, all thanks to Goyle.
Items from the various piles fell, as the flames engulfed them.
Draco, Goyle, and Blaze began climbing one of the tall stacks, in attempt to escape the fire from beneath them.
"Where is she!?" Draco cried out desperately, as his eyes darted around the room.
The large flames chased the four of us around the thin walk ways between the thousands of pieces of junk.
They lead us all right back to each other.
"Get down!" Hermione screamed.
We all ducked as she casted a quick spell, to shield us from the flames that tried to pounce on us.
"We've got to get out of here!" Ron yelped.
"How?!" I questioned.
Harry looked over his right shoulder.
There sat a pile of brooms.
He looked back at me and smiled.
"No way! I'm not driving one of those damn things!" I argued.
"It's either that, or cook like a ham." Harry said, tossing each one of us a broom.
That's when Goyle lost his grip on the pile he was climbing, falling into the large flames.
I swallowed hard, as I put the broom between my legs.
"Here goes nothing." I told myself as, we all took off into the air.
We circled the tall pile, where Draco and Blaze held onto.
Their faces filled with fear, as the flames grew higher, and higher.
"Harry!" I yelled out to him.
I couldn't let Draco die.
I just couldn't, I guess you can say I had a soft spot for Draco.
Harry turned his head at looked at me.
He saw my eyes fill with tears, as I watched Draco hold on for dear life.

"Please, Harry." I begged him.
Harry turned his head to look at Ron.
"We can't just leave them!" Harry yelled. His eyes were filled with empathy.
Ron looked at me, then at Hermione.
"You're joking right?!" Ron replied.
Harry looked at Ron for a moment.
Ron rolled his eyes and scuffed.
"If we die because of them, I'm going to kill you!" Ron screamed at Harry.
We circled the pile again.
Harry, who was in front of me, extended his arm out.
He locked hands with Draco, pulling him onto the back of his broom.
I extended my arm, locking hands with Blaze, and pulling him onto the back of my broom.
Ron and Hermione followed us, as we flew through the room of requirement, and out the door.
For my first time flying, I'm doing pretty damn good!
How do I stop?
Oh shit, how do I land?
"How do I stop?!" I screamed.
It was too late, I crashed Blaze and I into Draco and Harry.
The four of us flipped through the air, and hit the hard ground.
Harry broke away from our tangled body's.
He stabbed the crown with the basilisk fang, and kicked it into the flames, before the doors slammed shut.
He had destroyed another Horcrux.
Draco, Blaze and I laid in a tangled mess.
Only for a few seconds, before we got our bearings enough to move.
Everyone let out several groans as we all rolled on top of each other, trying to break free.
"Why is there broken glass everywhere?!" Blaze yelled.
I reached for my necklace, to find the small jar was no longer there.
It had shattered when we fell.
My note laid, still folded, about five feet in front of us.
"Fuck!" I yelled, locking eyes with Draco.

His head was right next to mine.
I tried to wiggle free and pull myself to my feet.
Draco moved much quicker than I did, after figuring out that I was trying to get the piece of paper that laid on the ground.
Draco grabbed me by the back of my shirt and pulled me back down, as he made it to his feet.
He ran in front of me, scooping the note up.
Draco looked back at me, as he stuffed the note into his pocket.
Draco and Blaze quickly ran away down the hallway.
Harry and Hermione helped me to my feet quickly.
"No, no, NO!" I cried out.
He wasn't supposed to see that unless I died.
Draco wasn't supposed to know how I truly felt yet.
I tried to run after them, but Hermione held me back.
"Don't, we've got bigger things to worry about." Hermione ordered.
"What am I supposed to do?" I cried.
My heart felt like it was beating at a thousand miles an hour.
My chest was tight and shallow.
My lungs seemed to stiffen up, making it hard to breath.
"What do we do now?" Ron asked, as his eyes looked between us all.
I took a few deep breaths to catch my breath.
"We fight. If Draco is here, that means Voldemort's followers are here on the school grounds." I stood tall, pushing my emotions deep down inside me.
"She's right." Harry replied.
"Let's go!" I yelled.
We all ran.
We ran down the halls and stairs.
We ran to the main floor of the school, and fought against Voldemort's army.

The Last Orellen is a long, character-focused progression fantasy set in a vast universe about a boy's journey to become a powerful mage. Reviews are deeply appreciated. Please do not repost my work elsewhere without my written permission. What type of reader is this book for? You might enjoy The Last Orellen if you like... Clever and resourceful protagonists. Big fantasy worlds. Multiple cultures, lots of characters, many different types of magic--this story is expansive rather than closely focused on a narrow storyline. Progression fantasy that takes its time. Our main character will be progressing through magical ranks, but this is going to be a lengthy story. If you're more about the journey than the destination, this might be the book for you. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

The Trespasser
Synopsis Following his di—instincts, David finds himself in a weird situation; the next thing he knows, he's in a different world, dying, and manhandled by a big-ass alien. When the Source comes to his aid, granting him the access that—like every other sapient—he's due, David barely manages to get out of the fight with his life intact, but is that enough? Of course it isn't. The very Source giving him powers is also poisoning him to death. Oh, there she is, the petite female alien. Will that be enough to save him? Of course it won't. If he wants to be saved, he has first to save himself. The only way to do so is by getting to know the world around him, but even before that... Why the bloody hell did I have to be called Deviant!? *** Blurb? Blurb. The Trespasser starts slowly, I believe I've written a decent world, and I want you to find out what it's all about, won't just throw it in your face because of *levels*. I do not like stories that don't make sense. David is not a murderhobo, he respects life and answers to the world and the weird situations thrown at him with irony and sarcasm; so you are looking for easy killing streaks, you will not find them here. So, a man finds himself into the wild? It's a different world, and yet he can breathe its air? Finds himself in a lucky-low-level zone? Oh, look at that, people speak English—how likely is that? So, nope, not for me, gentleman. You won't find anything of the likes here. Again, a man finds himself in a new world but only thinks about the system? Yeah, that's not exactly how it works. David will try to find out what it's really all about, what the aliens want, how they work, why is that Fay really helping him? You can kill somebody to get levels, and yet there is not even a form of police? Not gonna happen here. Man becomes suddenly overpowered in a world where people can live for thousands of years by having enough luck to face only lower-level people? Hahaha—nope. Lastly...Spaceships and fantasy with LitRPG... say what!? Well, what's wrong with that? Let's make it happen, shall we? *** You want even more info? Really? Alright... David will start from the very bottom of the food chain, so there will be a settling arc—it's inevitable. David will find true companions, with personalities and backstories, and they will have a life of their own. There will be enemies, and those enemies will have a life of their own, too; there will be no evil just because. The world-building will have true depth; it will not exist just because the protagonist visits it. There will be both Fantasy and (Soft) Sci-fi—yeah, you heard that right. There will be rationality to every action taken, as long as the characters are aware of what is going on. There will be a godly system. You will come to read because of the world-building, but you will stay for the characters. The dead stay dead, and you will weep for them. There will be no action without a reaction. Lastly, there will be laughs. Are you still up for it? Then get in but fasten your seatbelts because it's going to be a wild ride. *** Release Days: Twice a week Release Time: ~09:00 PM UTC Words per chapter: ~3000 This web novel is also available on other platforms.
