Amond slammed the door shut after getting in the house, startling his friends who were entertaining themselves with a movie in the house living room.

They looked at him and noticed his clearly visible sour expression.

"What's up, buddy? Something wrong?" Ian inquired with concern.

"That bastard knows of our operations!" Amond walked to the friends, his eyes sparkling with anger, "He knows what I do!"

"Who?" Ian asked in a combination of concern and surprise.

"Who else can it be? That bastard Lei!"

"Lei!" Jim squawked in stupefying surprise, "How did he know?"

"That, I can't even fathom!" Amond's anger was suddenly replaced by perplexing thoughts in clamoring confusion, "I have worked to make sure the operation is invisible. Not even the government knows of its existence. But now only one man!"

"Let us take him out once and for all!" Jim came up with a swift suggestion, "He may end up knowing everything! We don't know who he may be working with or getting information from_"

"Precisely why we shouldn't take him out yet!" Amond firmly spoke out, then looked thoughtful, "We must know first if he is working with other people, and how he has come to know of the operation. He is the least of concern here. How he is getting the information and the possible people he is working with are the concern. And it is only through him when we will get the answers to these."

His friends nodded, getting the sense in his thought.

"Then we need to work ahead of him." Ian said, "We start following him up."

"That will come later because he knows I might do that. He is going to be careful since he is the one who told me about it." Amond said, "First, we are going to change everything. We are going to come up with a new system of operation, and deploy secret intelligence at every level. That way if he is getting information from the inside, we will easily know who is behind it."

"Good thinking." Ian nodded, "His days are now numbered!"

"He has guaranteed that to himself! He won't even see his next birthday!" Amond said as resentment simmered inside him towards the enemy, "Once I know how he has come to know of me, I will be the one to spurt his brains out!"

The friends looked glad and thrilled at the thought. The enemy seemed to be increasingly becoming a burden and a bedevil in their lives, and were eagerly waiting for the day of his elimination, in whichever way possible.
