As Lei walked out of the university's main library building, he met with his greatest enemy face to face for the second time in the university. They both stopped, looking at each other, three meters apart.

Tension filled the air around them, so thick that anybody around could be able to perceive and sense it. Their blood started spreading with nauseating force, each wanting to proceed past the other and continue with their business, but the minds not allowing. The minds wanted to prove who was superior between themselves.

"I can now see you have the woman of my dreams." Amond broke the tension with a firm haughty tone, "Don't be so sure I won't fight for her!"

"The ground is open." Lei said coolly, but with a hateful expression on his face, "Do whatever you please. But the moment she reports to me that some daft buffoon is disturbing her..." He walked a step forward to him, "I will show you what I am capable of!"

Amond deviously chuckled, "Is that supposed to be a threat? You, somebody like you, threatening somebody like me!"

"You confuse threat with warning. It is always in the minds of people who think they are untouchable." Lei walked another step forward to him, looking derisive, "I can touch and destroy you by pressing only one button."

"Don't make your words superior than you are!" Amond attacked back with a supercilious tone, "You don't know what I am capable of, and I wouldn't mind making a nobody like you disappear out of my sight!"

"Oh, you wouldn't? You are never a threat to me, Amond, because I know you to the back of your brains. A stupid boy who thinks he is clever and uses daddy's money and influence to run a drug business. Such a person can never be a threat to me because I am a thousand times more intelligent than he is. I can be able to know what he thinks before he even does."

In an instant, a slight shiver ran through Amond from the information. He knew how discreet he had been working to protect his private life from the eyes of other people. He had been making sure the life remained absolutely anonymous. He had even been intelligent enough to organize and employ deep and sensitive operations only by himself and still remaining a ghost in the organization most of the time. Now he was completely unsure how one of his greatest enemies knew of it, and knew he was in charge of it. Or is he guessing?

"Now, don't be stressed." Lei was able to see his suppressed disturbance, then spoke in a deliberate and methodical manner, only to deliver the needed outcome from the enemy's sudden distress, "You are not that smart, not the way you thought. There are people who are smarter far beyond that. You can't do anything to me that I cannot be able to overcome. I have all your brains on my palm and can rotate it to see how you think.”

“You will never be a threat to me. Let it get into your thick skull!" Lei now had seriousness lurking in the depths of his eyes, moving a meter closer to the enemy, "If you disturb my lady in any way, be sure I will step on your ugly face on the ground. Call it a threat if you wish." He finished and walked away past him.

Amond remained staring at nothing in front of him with a tightness gripping his throat. He never imagined the enemy could be this stone-cold fearless in his face, making him feel degraded, defeated and emasculated. He took a moment processing all that had happened as bouts of anger and resentment towards the enemy consumed him.
