“No!” screamed Jake. “No, no, no, no, no!”

He threw the joypad across the room.

“Why did this have to happen? Blue screen of death, NOW?”

Everyone looked at each other in silence, mortified.

“Have you tried CTRL, ALT + DEL?” asked Al.

“IT’S BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH, YOU MORON!” screamed Jake.

Al went quiet. “It was just a suggestion,” he muttered.

‘Arry took control of the situation as only he knew how. He punched the computer and then turned it off and back on. “Should work now,” he said.

Everyone watched the machine quietly. It seemed fine, start up screens were running as normal and it stopped at the normal window. ‘Arry leant over and double-clicked on Lapine Death Corps.

They were greeted by a simple message on a black screen. “Lapine Death Corps is offline… We will be back up again soon.”

“Lads,” said ‘Arry. “I think we might have done it. Niall, set the path to Crawk.”

“Sure, ‘Arry.”

‘Arry clasped Jake on the shoulder. “You’re still a complete and utter idiot and coward, but you’ve done well here son.”

“Worst end to a game ever…” chuntered Jake to himself.
