《Onyx Lycan Nightclub》Chapter ✧ 31

"Tell me what it's like," the human psychiatrist, Dr. Reynolds, asks me.
"Kissing death...um... losing my breath? Drowning," I answer, thinking of what he's questioning me about. Having sex with Lycans.
"That sounds uncomfortable," he looks at me and waits for my response, "Why would you enjoy that?"
He asks me that question, over and over, every day he hopes I might explain in more detail. I simply don't care anymore. I zone out, staring at the wall. His questions were intrusive and unwelcome.
"Silvia, why would you enjoy that?"
"I'm a Queen of Lycans," I tell my doctor, what I tell him, every day.
He starts writing notes, sighing in disappointment.
"I want to ask why were you alone with your best friend, in the middle of the forest, in someone else's home.... If you are a Queen of Lycans? Should you not been in your castle?"
"Onyx has a club up here and a house in hell, not a castle," I explain, "Also my babies are with the devil, who stole them out of my body, after opening a damn portal into my uterus," when I say that he gives me the same old look – neutral indifference. He doesn't believe me. He doesn't like me. It riles me, and I add in a small rage, "...and even so, I'm the one being locked away."
"Would you like the Lycans to be locked away? You did work for Lycan Control at one point – until you were dismissed... you also assisted in the death of a co-worker, a police officer, do you want to talk about that?" Dr. Reynolds is keen to explore this route. I look around his pretty office, so damn luxurious considering we're in a maximum security asylum. I would not answer questions about that, "How about you tell me what you dream about?" Not answering that, "...how about... how do you feel being safe in here, away from demons and away from hell? You are safe in here, Silvia."
"I have no rights in here, I have no freedom, maybe that means I'm safe... but it costs everything," I tell him straight, "People care too much that I am mated to a Lycan."

"It's inconceivable to most mortals, that you would be attracted to a demon," Dr. Reynolds heats up a bit now, frustrated, "This is for your own safety and sanity."
"I can handle my mate," I explain, "I was handling him before you all intervened."
"You murdered your last doctor Silvia, that is why you're handcuffed to that chair every time we talk," Dr. Reynolds explains, "Let's try a different topic. If you're a queen to a supernatural demon, what supernatural powers do you hold?"
"Why would I talk to you about that?" I whisper now, "Go to hell."
"If you don't calm that temper, you'll be going into the isolation unit again. We don't have to talk at all," Dr. Reynolds lets that sink in. Less freedom. No contact with Carmen.
I quieten down, until I get a new idea.
"...I'd like to turn to religion, Doctor..." I mention, quietly, "Perhaps you could get a priest in to visit me? I had a priest in mind when I was contemplating my... choices... I admit this now to you, but please do not laugh at me for saying it."
"I would not laugh at you for considering that," Dr. Reynolds leans forward, entirely interested, "Would it help you, to consult religion?"
"...I have been... considering it..." I answer as truthfully as possible, "Actually. Never mind."
"No, no, please, tell me the name of the priest you had in mind and I'll give him a call –"
"I believe his name is Oswald," I answer maybe a bit too quickly, but I hope he takes it as enthusiasm, "...he's very popular in Dire Wolf City, his name floats around quite a bit. That's how I heard of him."
"I'll look into it for you, this is a great idea," Dr. Reynolds is pleased, "When we talk next, I'll let you know what's happening." Brilliant. I try not to look too smug. I force on a frown, and look at the floor, "Don't be ashamed, Silvia."
Of course he thinks I'm ashamed.
"Whatever," I murmur, and he calls in nurses and security to escort me out of his office.
On the way out down the long cement corridor to the 'recreation' area, I spot Carmen sitting on a dirty couch, watching a television playing cartoons, while reclining on someone's lap, with her ankles crossed over the arm of the couch.

Huh. It's a new in-patient.
I shuffle closer, since they always keep my ankles chained.
I'm curious why she is so lovey-dovey with him.
I really take in the human, as I round the couch and look him in the eye.
A familiar stranger.
I had never seen him before, with shoulder length black locks, a handsomely large jawline, with big teeth as he smiles at my approach – with red tinted eyes. Lycan.
"He got done for murder and pleaded insanity," Carmen explains, her head snuggly fit over his crotch as he plays with her hair.
The nurses look on as they walk by, slightly agitated but unwilling to break it up as they go about their duties. Afterall, they were just relaxing for the moment.
"What's your name?" I ask him.
"Wolfgang," he answers, in a deep rough growl too deep for a human male. Definitely a Lycan.
"And first name?" I raise a brow, my nostrils already suspicious of the scent he gives off.
He answers me boldly, with the nurses in hearing range, "Magnus."
Ahuh. A member of the pack.
I see why Carmen is now so close to his Lycan dick. She was dick deprived for the last 9 months.
I try very hard not to give the game away to the staff looking on.
I glance to Carmen instead, who is snuggling into his waist and burying her nose into his torso as she hugs him closer, moaning under her breath as she gets closer and closer to his groin.
Isolation was driving her a bit mad, just a little quicker than me.
"Come cuddle him, Silvia," Carmen's voice is muffled into his belly button, while I look to see how Magnus is enjoying this. He is arrogantly looking me in the eye as she tries to bury her face directly into his crotch next.
"Seems you got a new girlfriend, Magnus," I joke to him, just as Carmen starts slyly trying to slip a hand into the waist band of his pants and Magnus can't help bringing her head even closer.
"Hey, break it up!" one of the nurses comes running over and I back up with my hands in the air, "Distance yourselves, now!"
Carmen immediately rolls off his lap and rolls along the floor, whining, while Magnus stands up and takes himself away willingly, not making any eye contact with the staff or us.
He pretends to be socially awkward, while I just keep my hands up in surrender.
"He's my new friend though, let me lick him – fuck yous," Carmen rolls onto her back and thumps her fists into the floor. She immediately gets dragged back to her feet. They injected her daily with some kind of substance that made vampires zonked out.
"Let's take you to your room so you can have a time out and think about respecting personal space, Carmen –"
"Yes, ma'am," Carmen, defeated, gets shuffled away with her head down.
I try not to glance at Magnus again, who is pacing the other side of the room, looking at the empty book shelves, left empty to taunt the mindless patients. I decide to shuffle my way back to my own separate room.
We could not lock our doors, so privacy wasn't real.
A few things of urgency are on my mind now.
I had been counting the moon cycle, as I had a small slit of the sky visible into my room, and tonight would be a full moon.
I had wall after wall after wall of concrete, lock after lock, countless security points, which made movement slow, and the entire design of this asylum separating me from the outside world entirely.
This was a different kind of hell.
Escape was impossible. For the poor staff.
There was nowhere to run to.
They were stuck in here, with a Lycan secretly roaming the halls, waiting for nightfall.
This place was going to bleed bloodred.
Carmen and I just had to lay down, close our eyes and wait for the squealing to seep into the concrete walls, haunting whoever was left of those who tried to intervene in Lycan affairs.
If you die it's not a Lycan's fucking fault.
These humans chose to interfere in demon affairs.
So they'd be gifted with hell awaiting them.
