《The Solitary Sword Sovereign》A Clash of Swords!

'It's as if the duo has come to a conclusion, that no other abilities are to be used. Only pure swordsmanship is being displayed.'
Wodin silently observed the battle with a keen eye. Jingsung Ha and Will's battle had surprised him.
Jingsung Ha had many epithets. For a simple reason; he had too many abilities. So even if he met an opponent who could counter one ability, he would just use another.
But here he was, using only swordsmanship and Intent to do battle. And Will matched his intention, as if they had come to some tacit understanding
Clang!
Clang!
Clang!
Clang!
"Pride is a foolish thing. They should both fight with all their abilities. This is why I hate sword nerds." Snorted Narcissus as he lovingly gazed at his reflection. The fight was interesting at first but he got bored easily and hence returned to what he never got tired of.
'Anyone can talk about Pride except you!' Odysseus wanted to shout, but he wisely kept this thought to himself.
It had been about half an hour and the stalemate of blades continued on. Will had shown incredible persistence. Jingsung Ha's feats were already a marker of what kind of being he was. Having this level of concentration at level 99 should be child's-play for a Scion of Ha. But the Divinities had never met Will while most of his information was confidential.
This plus Wills Lower World Identity made it a more serious discussion. Just how did Will train with Lower Level resources to gain such comprehensive strength at a Low Level.
Considering Jingsung Ha's background, his level of power at level 99 was within expectation. But Will was a different story.
His yuan was relatively pure and compressed which showed that he cultivated assiduously. He was able to switch between abilities with relative ease which showed experience and talent in battle. He was able to battle at high intensity for long periods of time without performing a single mistake which showed superb mental resilience.

It started becoming more a matter of what he didn't lack rather than what he lacked. But the odds were still stacked against the young man from Earth. For not only did The Seventh Son of Ha have an incredible background, his achievements in the Martial Way were also nothing to scoff at. So truthfully speaking, Will still had no right to be put in the same sentence as his opponent. But battle between warriors was never decided until it was well and truly over. It wasn't backgrounds clashing here. It was swords.
Jingsung Ha was overwhelming Will, or so it seemed. But no one had panicked expressions. This was clearly a situation of 'If he is this strong with Lower World resources, then how strong would he be if he had been raised on a middle world? An upper world?'
Will was clearly a rare genius, but the group eventually started to ease into Adelda's way of seeing things. This was due to two reasons.
First, a powerful being had already taken interest in Will. Hence the Restricted Access on his information. So recruiting Will to Olympus was impossible. If he was one of their own they wouldn't need to hide it. Being Low Key is not beneficial in the System. Especially at the beginning stages
Secondly, even if he worked himself to the bone, both time and luck would need to be on his side for him to survive. Meisters do not live long. They spend most of their lives being hunted for their class. And being ranked as a class in the top 30, its users are usually Natural Sovereigns. It was possible to lose your rank as a Natural Sovereign if someone more talented than you was born on your world or moved to your planet.
Moving one's home world was an arduous process that only a lucky few could accomplish, hence if a Sovereign was outranked and bumped down, the suspect was almost always a newborn.

Such babies usually cause commotions in the form of unnatural phenomena happening in the surroundings. Thunder in a clear sky, rain without clouds, creating a rainforest in a desert, the list goes on.
The Atlas columns had also relayed information to the Divinities that his body had been refined by Bloodlust and Radiant Energy. They assumed Will had two objects that emitted these Empyrean Intents. Such a thing was too valuable for a Lower World to have, so they assumed that he had been gifted by the system at a Scenario Dungeon like theirs, a higher dimension were such things were more common. Hence making him a target, because he would obviously have more valuables.
In other words, the odds of Will living were not looking good. The observers had already given him a few more decades at best. Even Hercules was no exception.
'Him having a powerful Master does not guarantee his safety. Because the stronger the Master, the stronger the Master's enemies.'
Hercules could identify with this, because from the moment he was born, he was destined to be an enemy of the Titans. When he was still an infant, legend has it that a serpent was in his crib. But Hercules strangled the serpent with his bare hands. This was a well-known and well spread feat.
Whenever Hercules was asked about the incident, his reply is almost always the same, "I was a baby, how am I supposed to remember that?"
This meant that if Will had been taken in by a powerhouse, he would inherit those grudges and grievances. He would without a doubt be a target of many even more. His survival would then depend on his Master's will or power.
Adelda knew who Will's Master was. Hence whenever she thought about the enemies he would have when his identity was revealed as Modus' disciple, she did not like his odds of survival. It was a sad truth.
'Modus is a powerhouse of the highest order, and so are his enemies.'
Adelda's gaze at Will became a bit gentler every time she had this thought. In her heart she started to slowly support this talented ant. Talented he was, but still an ant nonetheless.
'To get on my radar he has be immortal first.'
Adelda had long ago admitted to herself that if Will was to become an immortal, he would have beenmore than worth her time and investment.
"If there was a list of beings that have no right to talk about pride, you would be at the top. Now focus! I don't want you to miss a thing. You are responsible for his life. So pay attention." Hercules chided Narcissus without even bothering to look away from the battle. He said what Odysseus had wanted to say, much to the latter's joy.
'This is why I support him'
Wodin and Odysseus chuckled and just watched on. They were still quite interested because they knew something interesting was about to happen.
'If Jingsung, who is known for having numerous abilities, was summoned by the Atlas Columns, then the User summoned must also be the same in that regard!"
The 7th Chapter of the Solitary Sword Sovereign was a skill created for those who had multiple abilities and wanted to concentrate all their diverse energies into one homogenous output.
'That output resulted in the summoning of Jingsung Ha. In other words...'
"This is just a prelude." Odysseus finished his thoughts with that sentence. He was hoping Narcissus would stay focused, because the peak of the battle was fast approaching.
The clashes between the duo were becoming faster and faster, while the attacks and blocks were happening at trickier angles. Will had not moved away from his spot. All he did was spin and shift his feet slightly, within the same zone.

No destiny, no choice, no hope. Our protagonist, a coward summoned to a world meant for heroes; a new world with new rules and old cruelties. Join him on his adventures as he must deal with menus, monsters, and mysteries in this litrpg fantasy. Now, out of his depth, damn near out of his mind, he must learn to survive in a game-like reality with no reloads, checkpoints, or save scumming. He does, however, have a drunk snake. Thank you for reading my first story, hopefully, the first of many to come. This will be my main story and is meant to help me practice and hone my skills as I slowly produce more complex ideas. It's a litrpg in which I want to only lightly focus on the mechanics as I don’t want to pad out the word count with math and number tables and while I want to add a few of my own twists here and there, overall I’m going to keep this story close to generic as possible so that I don't let my inexperience lead me into a corner. Thanks again to all willing to leave a review or some constructive criticism, without you I'd never improve. Unfortunately, Cover art is by me.

The Head That Wears The Crown
It's a tale as old as time. Boy goes to funeral. Boy gets sucked into a different world. Boy has to lead a settlement. Boy has to lead a settlement? Boy has to lead a settlement. This is a story about that settlement, and some other stuff. Maybe. Disclaimer: Not sure if it qualifies enough for a gore tag. There is a description of someone's death somewhere in this, but I don't think it is descriptive enough to justify a gore tag. Disclaimer part deux: I initially started writing this as background for another story but got so into it I just ended fleshing it out a bit. Disclaimer part tres: People love reading disclaimers don't they? It's why I've included so many. They're just for you. Disclaimer part four: I know, this is getting egregious. You're starting to find it less funny. Just wait till the twentieth disclaimer, it will start being funny again. Disclaimer part five: I'm kidding, this is the last one. I don't promise I'll read every comment or message, but I certainly welcome your feedback. Disclaimer part six: I lied, it wasn't the last one. I wrote this story without breaking it down into chapters. It just goes, that means that the chapter ends when it ends, not when there is a convenient break in the story. That means that it's very annoying for you as a reader since chapters can end mid sentence. Hah! Sucker! Disclaimer part seven: Get ready for slow updates. Who knows when this will continue. Toss it on read later and come back in fifty years. Disclaimer part eight: Cover Photo by Arthur Ogleznev on Unsplash
