《Between Reality: G.Y Aspect》71: The Heavy Matter

Lei and Diana sat in one of the 80-seater VVIP glass partitioned areas at Kasarani Stadium for the big awaited game to kick start. The country's biggest stadium was a perfect example of the oscillations and inspirations of human genius, with brilliant architectural design and model. It was the country's most high-class and leading stadium, with various sporting arenas, entertainment and recreational centers inside it.
There were a number of people still coming in and the stadium was almost full with noises around it.
Diana, with a hot dog snack in her hand, looked at Lei while still admiring his body-fit black V-neck T-shirt and blue denim jeans attires. The attires showed out his well-built physique, and Diana couldn't help but appreciate adoringly the figure of attraction beside her. She already wanted and wished to complete the final touches of her plan and call him her lover, because every time she saw or thought of him, a powerful force occurred within her to win him and be with him.
She put on a sweet smile, "Before the match starts, how about some one or two info about the stadium that you know about? I think it can be helpful considering my amateur knowledge in football."
Lei had already turned to her, with a smile as well, "Of course." He looked around him and back at her, "First and foremost, the history. It was built in eighty-seven, and a renovation occurred in twenty-ten, maybe you heard about it?"
Diana shook her head, "No...I don't think if I heard about it."
Lei stared. Indeed an amateur in football! "Hmm, okay." He said with a nod, "The full name is Moi International Sports Center. It is a multi-purpose stadium with a capacity of sixty thousand people."
"Sixty thousand people fit here!" Diana sounded surprised.

"They pretty much do."
"Wow! Anything else?"
"Well...it is used by Harambee Stars for most of the home games and it is also a home stadium for Tusker and Mathare United."
"These are two teams in the league?"
"Yeah." Lei said, then continued with more information, "There is an indoor arena in the stadium. It has a gymnasium in its center and used for gymnastics, volleyball and other indoor sports. It holds five thousand people. That is its capacity. Then there is also an aquatic complex with a variety of pool recreation- like diving pool, training and children's." He shortly paused, still looking at Diana, "And I believe we have already seen the Stadion Hotel, where we got the snacks from. So, that should be all about the major info."
Diana was now with a lovely smile, impressed and fascinated by the gentleman's knowledge, "Thanks. You seem to be great in almost everything."
"In just what I am passionate about, and football and sports are one of my passions."
"That is wonderful! Really wonderful."
"Thanks." Lei appreciatively said, and it was when it occurred to him again about her intentions towards him. Intentions that would most certainly cause a misfortune when she came to learn about the truth of what was going on. She would get hurt, that was for sure, but he didn't know if she would be able to understand the truth of the matter. He wished to know if she would understand. If only I can know! And immediately, a swift knowledge came in his resourceful and imaginative mind; knowledge that would be able to get him in her mind and know of her thoughts, "There is a story that happened in this stadium." He inventively started, "Would you like to know about it?"

"Sure." Diana nodded interestedly, her smile still there to be seen.
"Before the renovation, a certain team in the league saw the renovation plans and admired it. It admired it so much and promised to do anything to have the stadium as its home ground. It was so proud and even told another neighboring team..." Lei realized he should at least use team names so as not to cause any suspicion, "First of all before I continue, I told you the stadium is shared by two teams, right?"
Diana nodded, "Yeah. Tusker and Mathare?"
Lei impressively smiled, "I can see why razor-sharp memory is a woman's thing."
Diana laughed looking at him.
"So, the story revolved around these two teams. Tusker is the team that saw the renovation plans, and it went to share the information with Mathare. Because they are two close teams in the city, just like siblings, Mathare happily congratulated Tusker for the stadium."
"But after the renovation was over, the Football Association approached Mathare for interest discussion, and it happened that Mathare as well totally liked and admired the stadium, and the talk between them and the Football Association was fluid and understanding.”
“So, though with guilt, Mathare signed the paperwork with the Association. And it's not like Tusker didn't approach the Association, in fact, it was the first team to approach it, but the Association felt that the deal between them wasn't satisfying and sufficient. It liked Mathare more."
"But nevertheless, you can be able to guess how the story ended, considering that they now share the stadium together. But in your own opinion, what do you think of all that happened?"
"Hmm..." Diana bit her hot dog, "I think that was a betrayal Mathare did. It congratulated Tusker for the stadium but ended up taking the stadium? That is selfish, but at least they share the stadium now."
Lei calmly looked at her. He could now be able to know how she would feel when she realized what her sister had done. It's not going to be good!
