《The Reject (COMPLETED)》Chapter 37: Willow's Secret Recipe.

"Lark?" Willow stared in horror at the man before her. What was Lark doing here? Did he come here to save her or–or was an accomplice, or could he be the 'Prince' Nick had previously mentioned? Willow didn't want to believe that, why would lark even want to kidnap her? Like she had previously mentioned, Lark would rather kidnap a five star Michelin chef.
Lark clicked his tongue and glared at Willow. Willow then came to the conclusion that it must have been Lark who had wanted to kidnap her, he must hate her too much, was it because she was Rowan's mate? Lark did previously say somethings about how he was Rowan's mate. She wouldn't be shocked though, because her boyfriend was just so awesome that everyone would love him, and she wanted to cry at that.
But she was actually sad though, since she had thought of Lark as a friend and looking at how he kidnapped her just because he was in love with her mate, and he also made her drink some questionable drink masquerading as strawberry flavoured Capri-Sun, it really hurt her, this betrayal.
"You just had to get abducted while I was lounging!" Lark sneered.
Willow froze. "What?"
Willow started to feel sick, but she shook the feeling off, the most important thing was to get out of this place.
"I just put on my Mediheal face mask, when I noticed that you were missing. I didn't even get to wear it for twenty minutes, oh my skin!"
Willow narrowed her eyes at him. "Why are you blaming me? I never asked you to rescue me!"
"Oh?" Said Lark. "Then I'll be leaving. I just spend hours of my time for naught."
When Willow saw Lark turning around to leave, she grew anxious. "Wait! I'm actually glad that you came here, so don't leave, please," Willow added. "At least take me with you before you leave."
"Oh? What will you give me, if I rescue you?" Lark sad, looking delighted.
"You are a prince, I don't see you lacking anything!" Willow argued. Oh, as if she would give Lark her Rowan.
"Wait–" Said Justin, who seemed to be too shocked previously. "What's happening? Who are you and why are you here?"
"Shut it." Lark snapped at Justin. "Can't you see us making a deal here? So, where were we?"
"If you rescue me," Willow took a deep breath, her stomach turning as she did so but she acted as if it took everything in her to say this. "I'll give you my recipe to peanut butter and jelly sandwich." Fall for it, fall for it! Willow was internally yelling.
Lark's eyes widened, when he hear that as if he couldn't believe what he was hearing. "So tell me."

Willow's eyes widened, she was sure that if he heard her recipe of PBJ sandwich then he would probably leave her here and Willow didn't want that to happen. "Well, why don't you rescue me first? I'll give you the recipe later, that too handwritten in case of future use."
"Swear on it." Lark narrowed his eyes.
"I swear that I'll give you my recipe of PBJ sandwich once we're back home, safely."
Lark smirked triumphantly.
"I thought you were allergic to peanuts." Said Justin, looking as if she had just betrayed him.
"I–" Willow felt evil doing this to Justin. "Well, you see I'm not allergic to peanuts or shellfish."
"Y-you lied to me?" Justin looked crestfallen.
Willow felt guilty as she she stared at Justin, but then she remembered the position she was in and glared at Justin. "I did lie to you but it was only because you kidnapped me!"
"Who are you?" Ed yelled who had probably heard the commotion and come up in the attic. He looked awestruck as he stared at Lark.
"But you shouldn't have lied to me on a topic that hurts me the most!" Said Justin.
Willow was taken aback. "How was I supposed to know that you were allergic to peanuts? I was just trying to avoid you from finding out that I had freed myself!"
"You freed yourself?" Said Ed, who had been captured by Lark's beauty for a while. "You a puny little thing, freed yourself?"
"How do you feel?" Asked Justin. "Now that you've broken my trust?"
"No, you were the one who first one to kidnap you, and that led me to lie to you!" Willow justified.
"But you–"
"What are you doing?" Came the voice of Nick, who seemed to have just climbed up to the attic. "Why didn't you bring her down? The prince is–who the fuck are you?"
Lark flipped his hair off his shoulder and turned around. "None of your business."
Willow didn't know why but she felt proud when she heard Lark say that, it seemed like he was catching up to the slangs.
"Whatever, Justin bring her down, his highness the Prince is going to come soon."
"Are you kidding me?" Said Willow in an attempt to escape, as she grew nervous. "Why are you acting like you are the boss here? Why do you always boss Justin around?"
"What do you mean?" Nick narrowed his eyes.
"When Justin had previously said that he heard someone moving around the house, none of you believed him and look at him," Willow pointed her chin at Lark. "Look at how he got in right under your nose." This was the best way out, which was driving a wedge between them since Justin did look like the strongest from the three, but Willow wasn't too sure that she would succeed, but she was willing to give it her all. "And when he swore that he had tied my legs, even then you didn't believe him, you keep on wronging him again and again."

"What do you mean by 'him'." Ed asked, looking horrified as he turned to look at Lark.
"What is your problem? You're the hostage here, why do you care who I boss around?" Said Nick.
"I'm not done yet," Willow looked pointedly at Nick. "You pushed the most boring job to him in the name of punishment that he didn't deserve, even though you knew," Willow scoffed. "You knew that he had a date today, yet you made him watch after me, what sort of friend are you?"
Nick glared at Willow before he rolled his eyes. "Justin," he said. "Bring her down."
Justin furrowed his brows, he stared at Willow then turned to look at Nick.
"What are you staring at?" Said Nick. "Go."
"No."
"No?"
"Justin is not your servant!" Willow added fuel from the background. "You should stop being a toxic friend."
"No! I'm done with your shit." Justin then walked towards Willow and untied her.
Willow now truly believed that words were indeed mightier than swords.
"What is wrong with you?" Said Nick as he charged forward but was tripped over by Lark.
"Oops. I didn't see you there."
Nick caught himself before he hit the ground and only stumbled. Nick glared at Lark and threw a punch at Lark, but Lark just leaned to the side which had Nick stumbling again.
Ed looked torn between what to do, as if he made up his mind, he charged towards Justin. Willow's eyes widened when she saw Ed running towards her, since her feet was just freed, she got off the chair, pulling it along with her since her hands were still tied to the arms of the chair. Willow abruptly turned and hit Ed across his torso with her chair. But she regretted it the very next moment because she felt the bile rise up, even though she hadn't eaten anything for hours now. Thankfully, Justin then took charge as he threw a punch at Ed.
Within ten minutes, Nick and Ed had been tied in ropes, normally they would have been able to break free of them, but now that they were beaten to unconsciousness, Willow doubted they would be waking up in the next few hours.
"Let's go." Said Lark.
"Wait." Said Willow. Justin and Lark turned to look at her. "My hands."
"I'll get that." Said Justin and he cut her ropes off.
That is when they heard the doorbell go off.
"Are you expecting someone?" Asked Willow.
"It must be the prince." Said Justin.
"We have to leave this place." Lark said suddenly.
"Don't we have to take care of this prince."
"There are a lot of people with him."
Willow's eyes widened, a lot of people? And there were only three of them, more like two of them, since Willow was sure she couldn't even take even one of the them. "Okay let's get out of here."
Lark nodded.
The trio rushed down the stairs and towards the back door, it made Willow dizzy, walking down all those steps, but she forced herself to stay conscious. Willow and Lark stepped out of the door, when Justin said, "If you walk down the path you'll find the gate and you can get out of here, you will probably find a cab down the road."
"Are you not coming?" Willow asked, concerned.
"Nah," said Justin. "I got myself in this mess, so I face this myself instead of running away from it."
Willow wanted to oppose to his decision. "But that guy might hurt you."
Justin shook his head. "This is what I'm supposed to do, I hope we meet again, you were the truest friend I've met since I was ten."
"I–" Willow started to feel guilty, because one shouldn't use their friend. "Yeah I too hope that we'll meet again."
"What is this?" Said Lark. "Toy Story 3?"
Willow furrowed her brows, but she then remembered how Toy Story 3 was devastating in the beginning. She gave Lark a dirty glare and then turned to wave at Justin.
Willow and Lark started to run down the path that Justin had pointed at. As she was running she felt a tug behind her, Willow paused. "Rowan."
"What?" Lark who was running in front of her turned to look at her.
"Rowan is here."
Lark's long pointy ears twitched as if he heard something, he looked at the mansion behind him. "Rowan is here." He agreed.
Lark was about to walk back to the house, when he abruptly turned to stare at Willow.
"You–" said Lark. "Did you drink something?"
Willow furrowed her brows and then nodded. "Nick did make me drink something questionable."
"Was it blood?" Lark asked icily.
"Blood?" Willow mumbled, then her eyes widened. Her mind going back to when Nick had made her drink the Capri-Sun. Willow retched. She was horrified thinking back on it. "It was red." Willow whispered.
"This–" Lark sighed. "I'm sorry."
"Sorry?" Willow looked up at Lark in confusion when Lark open his palm and blew something in her eye.
