《The Legacy of Gilgamesh》Chapter 8 The Power Of A Demi-God

Rico used half a bottle of shower gel to rid his body of the dark, oily toxins. He went to relax in his living room feeling rejuvenated. Checking the Cradle and finding the bug population rising once more, he tossed 100kg of pork into the centre and then use Authority to transfer 1% of the entire world's sources that generate every year into his body. In this manner, his physique would gradually get stronger with time.
While taking a break to play some games, Rico suddenly felt as though an electric current had hit his body, causing him to shiver all over and lose control of his hands. With a snap, his phone dropped to the ground. His entire body's muscles and bones began to condense after that, and Rico eventually passed out.
Ah
Where am I?
After realizing that he was in his home, Rico took a long look at his room.
He muttered angrily, "Seems like 1% was a bit much." He reached for his iPhone 11 after noticing it on the ground, it suddenly broke as he held it, the entire device was severely deformed, and the screen was dispersed like a spiderweb.
Oh my god
No, no, no, no
"What a shame... Fortunately, I have a few extras."
His strength appears to have grown a little too quickly, and Rico will need some time to adjust. He kept this in mind as he went about his business. To regain complete control, he decided to exercise his body on Mt. Conquest.
Bump
Rico threw a stone the size of a basketball seven or eight meters out.
When Rico saw the size of the stone and his ability to toss it seven or eight meters out, he compared himself to the fabled hero Herculis.
As the repressed thirst for power within him stirred, his breathing became deep and strong. Few people, according to him, are capable of what he just did because the stone weighed at least 30 kg, and to throw it as far as he did was almost impossible.

He then tossed a 5-kilogram rock up to 40 or 50 meters out while holding it in his hand. This demonstrates Rico's growing strength.
He continued to push himself physically to adapt to his increasing strength by throwing pebbles, leaping, jogging, climbing, and even cleaning his entire house. In the end, Rico needed six hours to get used to his suddenly increased strength, and he still couldn't entirely handle it.
After finishing one final round of parkour, returning to the Villa. He quickly showered before driving his Bugatti. Fortunately, throughout the past several years, Rico saved some money; otherwise, life would have been a pain.
Rico had an epiphany as he paid 500 euros to fill his tank. Rico had plenty of time to think during his rigorous training. He had the brilliant idea of buying pricey fruits that take a long time to develop and sell at a high price and placing them in the Cradle. Like ginseng, imagine the potential profit if the seed was planted in the cradle. After one night, there would be thousands of 50 years old and even mutant ginseng.
He looked it up and discovered that someone had spent millions of dollars on century-old wild ginseng, demonstrating the high value it has. After purchasing the ginseng seeds and other rare seeds, Rico was eager to see what could have happened in the Cradle to increase the world's sources to the point where his strength would soar to new heights.

Author's Rant
Just a disclaimer, this is not and never will be a story. I just, noticed I have a bad habit of wanting to rant in my author's notes, and have decided that, instead of accidentally doubling the length of each chapter with the author's note alone, I will shove those long-ass rants here. It might contain spoilers for my stories, as I usually wind up ranting about different parts I'm writing. So, if you actually enjoy my rants...well, firstly, what is wrong with you? Secondly, welcome! Time to figure out what tags to stick on this. Also, as of the second chapter, I have decided to shove some of my story ideas here. So if you enjoy half-baked, unfinished stories, then I got those too. I think that adds that short story tag?
