《The Legacy of Gilgamesh》Chapter 1 The Abyss

My name is Enoch; I come from a remote place called earth. And anyway, I died. When I ran out in front of a Bullet train, I was killed. Splash, it wasn't unpleasant or thrilling. I just saw my spirit leaving my body, it was strange seeing my vessel, but I didn't feel any odd sensations. Comparable to all that is lifeless, drab, and dead.
The people at the train station saw my pieces sticking to the train rail and they care not. I used to believe humans were more good than wicked. It seemed like a normal event to them, just like the sun, the moon conducts the stars. Cries and downward gazes from some faint-hearted children, some felt sorry, and the rest saw me as just a nobody.
When the red-clad rescue officer arrived, they appeared unaffected. They appeared to be washing and scooping up my dead body while wearing gloves before spraying some kind of pesticide where I had been. Once an official started cleaning up the blood, I was utterly gone.
I'm a spirit or possibly a soul; I'm not sure because I've never heard of it, but let's call it a soul for the time being. Before I knew it, I had been swept into emptiness and was unsure of my location.
As my spirit was drawn into it, I wonder if it is the way to the hereafter. I recall the priest declaring that those who kill themselves will burn in hell. What about me? I closed my eyes as these thoughts flooded my mind, unconcerned about what lay ahead. The suction force eventually stopped, and I was ultimately able to open my eyes.
There was complete blackness; pitch black, there was no light. Nothing existed everywhere; there was no spark, no space, no time; even matter and energy were absent; it was all dark. And I gave this place the name "Abyss" because it resembled a deep, bottomless shadow-filled emptiness, similar to the nothingness experienced when one's eyes are closed for sleep.

I believed it to be my retribution for what I had done. As the only being in this vast void of immense expanse of darkness that surrounds me and the only source of light, it was a prison with me as the lone prisoner.
After a while, I began to feel, I felt wholesome again, as if I were truly alive. However, the rule of the abyss gradually became lonely, and it even made me terrified of my thoughts. I, too, want things to stop, but can the dead truly die? Although it has been more than a century, it may have been a fraction of a second because time does not exist. It could have been a thousand, a million, or even a billion years.
I suddenly got the notion—or rather the thought hit me—that I might be able to get out of this hellhole. Since I came, I have been drifting in the same place, hoping to be saved.
I set off on my quest, sailing straight ahead for a very, very, very long time—millions of years raced by in the space of a single second—but all hope was lost. I couldn't find anything since everything was the same and everything was dark
I felt myself plunging into the pit of terror. For a while, I remained emotionless; I drifted in the same location until I had my first glimpse of lucidity in a long time: what if I could produce light? Since there was no light, perhaps I can make some. I've been noticing energy, or soul essence, floating and moving throughout every crevice and inch of my body.
I reached out my palm and concentrated on visualizing a pure light after being moved by a notion. As I did, a white element appeared in the centre of both of my palms and my soul essence started to move and turn white. This element, a spark, increased till it was the size of a baseball as I continued to unleash the Origin. If you can make light, then you can create life. I don't know if it was myself or someone else, but I was incredibly excited when I heard this inspirational sentence in my head.

The white spheres of light became ten, one hundred, and many more times larger until it eventually came to a halt as I released the small orbs of light and flew back while reciting the words "let there be light," at which point it had grown to the size of the moon. After approaching it nearer, I touched the light. My hand was not wrapped in anything, neither hot nor cold. With a thought, I poured fire energy into the white sphere of light.
Then the light ball shone brightly, going from molten red to crimson yellow with a golden glow inside, and ultimately to orange. It began to take shape, grew larger and assumed the shape of an orb, then changed into the sun, which is what it will continue to be. I call it "Sun," as if it can hear me and understand the name. The sun began to tremble and became bigger and brighter.
'Well, then, let's make the Universes,' I thought.
Because time, space, and matter are the three axioms of the universe theory, I chose to tackle it from that angle. Matter is a component of creation since there would be no space or time without it. Matter, time, and space are all dependent on and connected in various ways.
Time, like matter, was discovered in space. As a result, space and time were inextricably linked to matter. The primal element, matter, was one of the three components of the basic three-axion of creation. It is tough to create something from nothing. However, if something else is in charge of creating new matter, for example, anything is possible to arise from nothing.
Despite the idea that, as previously said, nothing can be generated from nothing, if anything is matter or even antimatter, it may give rise to new things such as stars or even life.
Without space, time would not have existed. I had to initially create matter, thus it took me a very long time to construct the known universe. To do this, I extended the matter that makes up the sun making it explode into a big bang and then began to generate more by drawing into my Origin, the white energy that is inside my illusory self. The universe resembled the moon in the night sky when one looks at it from the abyss.
Matter was produced, space was created, and time began to flow. The stale Sunlight picked up speed. Since the cosmos now contains matter, space, and time, you may see it shining in a variety of hues from the depths, the universe illuminating in a variety of colours from the abyss. Stars and other elements will soon begin to form from the three primordial elements. But that's a different tale.

On the Road to Elspar (Book 1)
The year is 1329. The Huntress' War has entered its tenth year, inflaming competing nationalisms and pitting the Confederacy of Caldrein against one of the continent's superpowers, the Tenereian Union. Desperately outnumbered, the Confederacy has relied on the prowess of its famed Caldran mercenaries, with highly-trained and experienced warbands returning from foreign conflicts to the defense of their homeland, and it is on their backs that Caldrein has successfully mounted a valiant defense for a decade. But they are losing, and day by day, with all the grace of a sledgehammer, the vast Tenereian armies take one more bit of Caldran territory, one footstep at a time. Sixteen-year-old Neianne from the village of Caelon has submitted herself to Faulkren Academy, one of the centuries-old institutions established to train the next generation of Caldrein's elite soldiers of fortune, to learn the ways of wars for three years before embarking upon the defense of her country. Her dryad family once hailed from reclusive woodland communes isolated from Caldrein's complicated mainstream society, and her upbringing leaves the shy village girl unprepared to suddenly train alongside other apprentices from backgrounds as low as the dirty slums of Caldrein's cities and as high as the halls of aristocratic power. Yet the war is eroding the norms and traditions that the Caldran people have long considered part of their national mythos, and the tensions within the confederacy that have long simmered under the surface - race, class, community, identity - are slowly but surely dividing its people, and Neianne must grow and discover who she really is, even as the war that she is steadfastly training for comes to its inexorable end... On the Road to Elspar is a fantasy quest - a work of interactive fiction wherein readers get to vote on what happens next at critical junctures - that is the first entry in a story that follows Neianne of Caelon, which first began on July 20, 2016. Originally a three-part in medias res prologue to a larger story titled On the Elsparian Road, it was eventually decided that this section - which covers Neianne's three years at Faulkren Academy - become its own independent story due to length, structural, and accessibility reasons. Despite this being a reader interactive work of fiction, due to logistical and verification concerns, voting will only be counted on its thread on the forum Sufficient Velocity, where this story originally began. As such, the content here on Royal Road serves as a story-only archive. You are, of course, entirely welcome to enjoy On the Road to Elspar as a conventional work of fiction, just as you are welcome to comment, discuss, and provide critique. But if you would like to participate in the voting, then I would be honored to welcome you on Sufficient Velocity. To facilitate accessibility and to ensure the best reading experience, this story-only version of On the Road to Elspar will be updated at a periodic pace, even though further content exists, so as to not overwhelm new readers on Royal Road. If you enjoy this story, wish to binge it, and/or want to participate in voting immediately, you may of course read all additional content via the link provided above. This paragraph will be removed once the content on Royal Road catches up with what has already been posted in its original thread. Cover artwork by DreamSyndd.

I would like those who decide to drop this novel and drop a 1 or 2 to read chapters 27 or 28 or 29. On a positive note; I really don't need to defend my work or myself.
