It follows Callida Animo, a young, intense, talented, but unambitious generational soldier through several years of growth, love, loss, influence, and power.
Callida's story is written episodically and broken down into bite-sized chapters for convenient reading. And yes, it does tie into the same mythos of The Last Primordials. So many plans! Muahahaha. ;)
