《House Of Omen: Indomitable Oathbreaker》Test of strength

Hope was interested in seeing how Darius would do. She jumped off the table and disregarded them completely. Even though she said nothing Ro followed. Darius saw Ro waving, telling him to follow. Darius sighed in resignation and followed the duo.
They entered a state of the art elevator. It was superb. Darius, as a hick, had little to zero experience with such things and hence couldn't help but marvel. "Wait, where are the buttons?" He asked confused.
Hope ignored his question and said, "Initiate rookie movement to testing grounds." A rumbling sound started to buzz throughout the elevator as it started to vibrate. Ro took a puff and said, "Young blood, I would grab something if I was you."
Darius then had an impending sense of crises and immediately grabbed the rail. He was grateful to the gods that he had done so seconds later. When the buzzing reached its screscendo, Darius started feeling dizzy, a feeling he had not felt in a while.
It was as if he had spun around a hundred times in a few seconds. He immediatly fell to the ground, without any sense of direction. Ro and Hope stood there and quietly observed him in their own ways. Ro kept puffing, saying "Irie." from time to time while Hope stared daggers at the boy. It was like she was a hawk that had identified its prey from high up in the skies.
Darius was disturbed, but his grip on the rail was tight. He closed his eyes and tried to stabalise his breathing. His thoughts started to slow down as his mind started feeling sluggish. Darius was jerked into seriousness by that attack to his mind.
He mustered all the control and strength he had in his body and struggled to stand up. Darius didn't notice, but his action caused Hope to widen her eyes in shock while Ro took a nice long puff, accompanied by the typical, "Irie."
Darius opened his eyes and stood up like a drunkard. As the seconds went on his body adapted. He found it much simpler and tried to regain his balance.
Hope stared at Ro and said, "Where did you find this boy?" Ro shrugged and said, "I was just randomly assigned as his tour guide for today and brought him here."

Hope could easily access such information herself so it was highly unlikely that he was lying. As Darius struggled to stand up Hope accessed a datapad and found out all the information she could about Darius. She was shocked by what she saw. Other than what Ro had told her, almost everything else about him was classified!
Hope was stunned. She had a lot of authority as she was the head of the Ordinary Level Martialists. This was absurd. Did this mean that she had to be at Advanced level to access his information?
Hope once more stared at Darius, who had just managed to gain some of his balance. "What a freak." Hope was disgusted by how talented the boy was in this regard. The first test was the elevator itself. The only requirement was for one to not pass out for at least 10 minutes, but Darius was already up in 5. He had already broken the record Ro had set all those years ago. Ro took a puff and nodded slowly, "Irie."
Hope knew that Darius would be extraordinary but to this extend. She looked up all the information she could access. All she knew was that he was a first year in the first form and that he had a scholarship. He didn't take the examination and was reccomended by the Dean directly. Only a handful of students a year could get that treatment.
Ofcourse she could only learn of this because she had the highest possible clearance for those in Ordinary Level. 99.99% of the students would not even be allowed to know this.
Before the required ten minutes was even up, Darius slapped himself and adjusted his vision. He was almost back to normal, except for the discomfort he had from having his balance messed with like that.
Similarly to Hope, Darius was impressed. He had no idea that technology could do such a thing. There was no doubt that the elevator was moving but it was moving down. It was not spinning madly, yet Darius felt as such. Darius had excellent grades and in school and had a decent understanding of basic science. He marvelled at how this was pulled off.
Darius even started to wonder if there were weaponized applications for this. By this point he was back to normal. Hope stared at the clock and said, "Complete recovery in 8 minutes and 48 seconds. Congratualtions, you have set a new record." Despite her words, Hope had anything but a welcoming face. She had a blank look on her face, as if she was daydreaming. Darius awkwadly rubbed the back of his name and said , "Uhm, thank you." It was a statement that sounded like a question.

Darius had no idea what record he set and for what. He guessed that it had something to do with him regaining his balance but he had no idea what was being tested.
Ro nodded his head once more and said, "Irie."
Darius resisted the urge to frown as he was getting tired Ro's odd habits. Not to mention that the man had drugged him. Darius started worrying if the drug had permanent effects when Hope spoke, "We are here."
Although she had a blank face, she was trying with all her might form freaking out. An untrained human should not have been able to do this. It had taken her six entire years to be able to withstand the balance breaker. Yet this rookie only needed a few minutes. The absurdity!
'Is this why teacher had me take up this post? Was he aware that this freak of nature was coming?'
Hope kept her feelings to herself and walked out of the now open elevator while Darius was worried about his health. They entered a large gymansium with training equipment all over. The gym was massive, going as far as the eye could see, and Darius could see far.
Hope took them to a section labeled Rookies at the top of the entranceThe moment they enetred, mirrors rose and covered the area, creating a room from nowhere.
"Alright, now we have some privacy. Now then, lets get to it."
Hope let the duo to a pair of weights, "Lift these up now." Darius scratched his head and did as requested. The weights were quite light. But Darius knew well that he was abnormally strong since young. It was one of the reasons he had been able to hammer away since he was 12 years old.
But he was only a few times stronger than the average person, in front of spirits or nobles that knew spiritual arts that strength meant nothing. Hence ever since young, his parents had warned him about being low profile with his strength.
The Spirit Knight ordeal had thrown that out the window, and it was this strength that was the reason he was alive today. With Spiritknight abilities, he had had an all round improvement. That included his control as well. Darius he could reach a realm were he could control singualr muscle fibres.
He was well aware of the benefits he had received from the continuous hammering. It had increased his strength and other attributes but most importantly his control.
Darius could tell that the weights were a 100kg each. With his strength this was child's play. But something changed. As the seconds went on the weights started to increase in weight!
"These weights are made from an allow that can have its weight adjusted. It will keep increasing its weight until it reaches a point were it believes you are fully exerting your strength." said Hope dryly.
The walls changed into screens showing multiple numbers, but one particular number took up half of the screen.
"On screen are many of your body's attributes. These were already scanned a while ago and are being adjusted accordingly every second."
Darius frowned and understood what was happening. But there was a problem. He was strong. Really, really strong! Even he had never measured his real strength. Would this machine take ages or will it hurt?
Darius started to get nervous but his body kicked in subconsciously. Just like when he was using his hammer, his entire mind cooled and focused. He mobilized all the power he had and for half an hour the numbers increased until a value was reached. Darius was swating bullets but Hope and Ro were not far off in oddness.
Ro had opened his mouth so wide that his pipe had fallen, only to be smoothly caught by his left hand. Hope had an unsightly face as she smacked herself to see if she was awake. The red numbers blinked on and off on the screen as if to cement it.

The Forbidden Class
Hatred. Lust. Power. There are many reasons why the Forbidden Classes are chosen. For Katai, a young village Guard, the reason was simple. Vengeance. Schedule I’ve not been able to write for quite some time now, so while I’m getting back into things the schedule will be nonexistent. Story details LitRPG - expect classes and skills and magic. Not a lot of stats/number-crunching though. There is slavery featured in this story, which a lot of people have been upset about. So here’s your fair warning. Skill levels and progression inspired by Azarinth Healer. Let me know what you think, and feel free to give me some constructive criticism. Please be nice about it though!

Delvers
Welcome to Draitall. The land of adventure and dungeons. Of heroic and epic tales and journeys. The world of delvers. Or at least that's how it gets sold by the select few who are able to obtain such glory. What to expect: Our MC Andaris is a determined fellow. Determined to overcome hardship and determined to make his dreams come true as a delver. But this is a cruel, unforgiving and dark world. While there will be plenty of borderline cliche heroics from our MC and friends, bear in mind that this is still a crappy and f***ed up world. If you do not apprecieate the characters you've grown attatched to being eaten by the denizens of the dungeons or the equally malevoulant mankind above, then i suggest perhaps continue scrolling down the list of novels and give this a pass. There is an innate leveling system in a sense and a handful of innate skills that can be obtained, but beyond that there is not much to do with any form of game features. Certainly no bluescreens for this one.
