Now, Hermione had a hair from Bellatrix, which she collected at Malfoy Manor.
Ron had a hair from one of the snatchers.
Well, they also had me put a Draco's hair in polyjuice potion.
This was her plan to sneak us into Bellatrix vault.
"I look hideous!" Hermione exclaimed.
She looked like Bellatrix, but had still had her own voice.
"I second that." Ron replied.
"Yeah, I liked you better as Ron." I joked.
"Bloody hell!" Ron yelped, and jumped back.
"Stop, Ron!" Hermione reprimanded him.
"I look fucking hot." I winked at Ron.
"You look like him, but sound like a girl." Harry giggled.
"Stop laughing, or I'll whip my cock out." I laughed.
"Courtney!" Hermione smacked me.
"Do I have a dick?" I asked myself.
I pulled the top of my pants away from my body, and peered down my pants for a second.
"Oh yeah, I do!" I exclaimed.
"Bloody hell!" Ron yelled again as his face turned red.
"Well.... is it..." Harry began laughing hysterically.
I began laughing hysterically.
"Are you two done? We've got to get down to business!" Griphook snapped.
"Yeah, let's go." Hermione said, sticking her hand out.
We all took her hand.
"You've got the cloak?" Ron asked Harry.
"Yes, now let's go." Harry quickly said.
We flashed out of there, and into Diagon Alley.
Harry took Griphook, and put him over his shoulders, before putting his invisibility cloak on.
They followed Hermione, Ron, and I, into Gringotts.
We slowly walked up to the front desk.
Hermione cleared her throat before she spoke.
"I wish to open my vault." She huffed.
The goblin continued to do his work.
"I don't like to wait!" She spoke again.

The goblin looked up.
"Mrs Lestrange." The goblin said, "of course."
He got up, and went to the back to talk to another goblin.
I had a bad feeling about this.
"Well, we have to see your wand for confirmation." The goblin said when he returned.
"Harry, they know we're fakes.. what do we do?" Ron said in the quietest whisper.
That's when I heard the smallest whisper, "imperio", and a wave of calmness flowed over the goblin.
"Very well, follow me." The goblin smiled kindly.
The goblin lead us through the gates, and onto the cart.
"I can believe you did that, Harry!" Hermione scolded him.
"Desperate times, call for desperate measures." Harry replied.
The floor of the cart, quickly opened up.
All of us began falling through the air.
"This is exactly why I don't fly on brooms!" I screamed.
Seconds before we hit the ground, Hermione casted at all of us.
It stopped us inches from the ground, only for a few seconds, before we all lightly face planted.
We all let out several groans, as we pushed ourselves too our feet.
"It's an anti theft system." Griphook told us.
Hermione and Ron's faces began bubbling, and changing back, as the effects of the polyjuice potion wore off.
Draco's short blonde hair, grew down into my long auburn hair.
My body shrunk in height and width, as my polyjuice potion wore off.
His clothes hung large and baggy on me.
"Thank God your back to normal." Ron huffed, as he looked me up and down.
"Fuck off, Ronald." I flipped him off.
"What are you guys doing down here!" The goblin hollered.
The curse must have worn off.
They all looked at each other, too stunned to speak.

I rolled my eyes, pulling my wand out, and casting at the goblin.
"Imperio!"
The goblin took a long, deep breath of relief.
As he exhaled, a large smile grew on his face.
We walked the rest of the way, to Bellatrix vault.
Which was guarded by a dragon.
The goblins both grabbed bells, and shook them violently, causing the dragon to crawl back and scream.
"When it hears the ringing, it expects pain." Griphook said, as they lead us past the dragon.
"That's barbaric!" Hermione cried out.
Bellatrix vault was filled with all sorts of gold and silver, shiny items.
"Which one do you think it is?" I asked.
Just as Ron bumped into a table, knocking things to the ground.
As the items hit the ground, they multiplied.
They were enchanted.
More and more filled the ground.
We all began moving around to avoid the items, which resulted in more items falling and multiplying.
"There, that's it!" Harry pointed to a goblet that was at the very top of the room.
He pushed through the cluttered room, and grabbed the cup.
The room was over half full with the items.
"Get us out of here!" Ron told Griphook.
"The sword." Griphook spoke loudly.
Harry threw him the sword of gryffindor.
"I told you I would get you in, I never said anything about getting you out!" Griphook snapped.
He grabbed the other goblin, pulling him out of the vault, before locking us in.
Griphook then sounded the thief alarm.
"Oh shit!" I yelled.
"Everyone stop moving!" Hermione yelled.
She quickly pulled her wand out, and casted at the door.
The door blew off the hinges, causing us and all the items to fall out of the room.
We all quickly got up, and ran like hell.
We ran till we got to the dragon.
There stood security, who began casting at us.
"What the hell are we supposed to do!?" Harry screamed.
We all hid behind sections of walls, to shield their spells.
Hermione closed her eyes, as she thought.
"The dragon!" I whispered to her.
She opened we eyes quickly.
"We have an idea, but it's mad!" Hermione yelled to the boys.
Hermione and I ran, jumping on the back of the imprisoned dragon.
"Come on, guys!" I yelled to them.
Ron and Harry ran, and jumped on as well.
Hermione casted at the chain that held the dragon down.
The dragon climbed up, and flew us out of Gringotts.

Vast Asleep
The story of Kingard the Binder in the aftermath of Broken This short story is the epilogue of Broken, the second book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. It’s a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers but is set apart from the full-length narrative. Vast Asleep follows the story of Kingard, who finds himself caught in a world called Mother's realm, bathed in glowing light but strangely stuck in place. He encounters his greatson Varyan there, and learns that his experiences are likely dreams. As he grows more accustomed to the loving realm around him, Kingard remembers fear and trepidation about the face of the world, and he loses contact with his companion. This story answers the question, Is Kingard really dead? with a tentative no, and new mysteries brewing. It also raises the question, What's happening while he's awake? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Ride Awake, about Kingard's situation with the Colkh'rak. Praise for Tales of the Known World Bookends: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between the epilogue and prologue is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well. -- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★

Parallels
Parallels are a constant in life. Our friends' lives often run parallel to ours; we share similar experiences or tastes- perhaps even both. Sometimes, however, opposites attract- and our lives run perpendicular. In that case, we are not attracted by similarities; rather, we are attracted to the differences in others. So, what happens when two parallels are broken apart? What might happen to them? Are they forever doomed to run alongside each other, never seeing one another, never meeting? Or, perhaps, might they be spun about? Could these lines that formerly ran alongside one another meet? Could they possibly be set perpendicular? Any feedback is welcome, so long as it is constructive. Also, you may not use any characters, ideas, places, or what have you that I present here without my explicit permission. A note: This is a story which I began over a year ago, but never got around to finishing- it feels about time to really get it going. Now, there are a couple of things about the story, and myself, that need to be said. First and foremost, there's a slow start, but by the third-fourth chapter things should be speeding up a bit. Secondly, in regards to release speed and/or word count per chapter, I make no promises- my schedule is fairly random, and in regards to word count, I will cut off any chapter at any point that feels appropriate to me- that may include cliffhangers, if necessary. I'm not trying to reach a specific word count, I am trying to create a cohesive story, with pseudo-appropriate chapter breaks. This means I will also not rush a half-baked release for the sake of getting a release out. Thirdly, I will make any edits, anywhere in the story and at any time, that strike me as necessary- typically being wording and/or formatting changes, but I may also decide to change major plot points- in that case I would put a notification in the next chapter released. Finally, and most importantly, I am a Christian; this story is intended to at least moderately reflect those values. So, if you particularly dislike any of these things, feel free to look elsewhere, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. God bless, friends.
