《BLOODTHIRSTY》40. Unwelcomed guest

The Round table where all of his trusted commanders sat, including Orobas and Amdusias. Waiting for him to announce his next move. However he was waiting for the angels to strike a move first. It would be easier that way Arculus thought. Not wanting to lead the War was still a thought he had, but Arculus had pushed it to the back of his mind. Not wanting to change his views. After all his people needed him, so did his mother.
"When will we be on the move?" Amdusias asked, all playfulness leaving his body. He was on serious mode and Arculus needed time to get used to that.
"We need wait for the angels to strike first." He answered back however Amdusias frowned.
"I have to sit back and wait? They are already attacking the front line. We can't just wait." Amdusias complained. "I'm losing my men that are fighting at the front line, so are the other commanders. I know you like being a good person however I don't, put your people first for once and not the humans." Amdusias said annoyed and Arculus knew that Amdusias was right.
"Bringing our war in the human world is what I'm trying to avoid." Arculus breathed out calmly, not trying to snap. He wasn't sure what it was but being here in the underworld for so long has had an effect on him. Both good and bad.
"Never thought I'll say this but I think Hor is right." One of his commanders spoke up.
"I see what you are trying to do Arculus, however the war will get out of hand either way." Arculus had his eyes closed yet could tell it was Orobas. Besides only he and Amdusias were aloud to call him by his name.
The door opened and someone walked in. Arculus was too lazy to open his eyes yet he still did. He was met with a rather angry looking Mezic. Her black her hanging freely and reaching her waist, her purple eyes were glowing. Indicating that she was indeed angry about something.
"What was so important that you had do interrupt our meeting?" Arculus asked annoyed at the she-demon.
"You couldn't even wait on me to start the meeting?" Mezic screamed at Arculus and Amdusias could feel his blood boiling already. Who in the world was she screaming to?
"Sorry Mezic, my apologies. Would you please sit down and stop hurting my ears?" Arculus asked her with raised eyebrows.
The woman was finally quiet and sat down. "I don't want to sacrifice lives on earth, however it seems like the battlefield would end up being on earth. Prepare your men for the storm that is coming. That is all you are dismissed." Arculus spoke up while sitting in his chair with his eyes closed, yet even if that was the case he could tell that there were still 3 other people in the room.
"Complains?" Arculus asked while trying to relax, but the last weeks he had been on edge.
"You don't seem to be doing fine." Orobas spoke up with worry in his voice. Afraid that his childhood friend wasn't okay at all.
"We are in the middle of a war, can you really blame me?" Arculus asked to the three other demons in the room. Arculus hadn't slept in awhile, feeling so tired.

"Perhaps its time for you to sleep." Amdusias retorted back. Arculus laughed and shook his head.
"Not needed."
"Do you always have to be so stubborn?" Amdusias asked annoyed.
"Do you always have to be so grumpy?" Arculus asked and opened his eyes to glance at Amdusias .
"Whatever I have to go." Amdusias excused himself and so did Orobas. The only one left in the room was Mezic and him.
Arculus closed his eyes again and didn't pay attention to the other demon in the room. "You act so mighty for someone that is so weak." Her voice held hatred and he didn't understand where this was coming from.
"Are you grumpy too?" He asked her and Mezic let her sharp claws hit the table.
"Perhaps if you were raised here, you wouldn't have such a soft spot for humans. I don't understand how the Queen is letting you off so easily. This is against the rules." Her loud voice made the furniture move, her eyes were purple and glowing.
Arculus sighed and leaned back in his chair with his arms crossed. "So that is what it was about? Calm down Mezic there is already a lot happening, I don't need your bullshit too." He said clam and collected, not bothered at all.
"Bullshit? You really have no idea what I'm capable of do you? Just one finger snap and your human will be death." Mezic spoke with hatred on the tip of her tongue and Arculus slowly opened his eyes, staring at the demon.
"It seems like you don't fear me enough. One finger snap you said?" Arculus asked with red glowing eyes and the demon sat quietly in her chair. "Go on ahead, and I'll end you." He said calmly but somewhere he felt slightly annoyed.
"If I hear you complain just one more time Mezic, believe me it won't end well." He told her while approaching the demon.
"Y-yes, understood."
"Yes who?" He asked with his eyebrows slightly raised.
"Yes prince Arculus." Her voice never wavered. The demon was always acting all mighty and powerful, he smiled to himself.
"You're dismissed."
The demon finally left and he found himself being alone again. The past few weeks has been busy. It seemed as if the days were going slower than Needed. The feeling of not being a good leader has been on his mind since he stepped inside of this place. However he was born to be a leader, he was birthed by a goddess after all. He should have known his place, and it started to sink in. He wasn't ordinary, he was a prince. The Crown prince of the underworld perhaps he should have had an ego.
Arculus left the room where they held a meeting and went outside. Looking for the dogs he couldn't seem to find anywhere. He looked in the gate of hell however there was no sign of the dogs. Normally they were guarding the gate that aloud strangers to enter the underworld however it seemed the dogs was taking a break. However the gate was left unguarded, and he also missed the dogs that seemed to always scare other demons away.
So he had no choice but to keep on looking. He checked the river where the death souls lingered around, however the dogs wasn't there. Arculus checked the prisons cells where they kept the souls who had sinned. It wasn't called the prison cells yet he just called it that way. His version was better. The dogs wasn't there either and it was slowly starting to irritate him. Arculus gave up on his search and went back to the castle. When he arrived he walked to his room. Making sure not to cross paths with his mother. For some odd reason she felt the need to always speak about the demon law.

They both knew that the only reason why she was doing this was to remind him how being with a human was an abomination. It put him and the entire kingdom to shame. Arculus just thought it was funny how it was coming from a woman that married an Angel. He was pretty sure that was a sin too however she did not talk about that.
When he finally walked inside of his bedroom he saw the dogs he had been looking for everywhere. "I have been looking everywhere for you Canibus." He said while the dogs were trying to sit in his lap.
The dogs started to make a lot of noises indicating someone was there in his room with him. The scent invaded his nose and he raised his eyebrows. His eyes looked in the corner of the room suspiciously.
"You're going to reveal yourself or do I have to do it myself?" He asked calmly while petting the dogs.
He could hear laughter coming from the corner of his room. "You sure sound confident f-"
"That is because I am." Arculus didn't give the person a chance to speak.
"You don't even let me finish my sentence, you have manners my Prince."
The dogs were still in his lap unbothered. Not even classifying the person as a threat. "You're in my room uninvited, are you sure you want to talk about manners?" Arculus asked the man with raised eyebrows, getting slightly annoyed.
"Well as an angel I can actually do that." The person spoke up with confidence.
Arculus laughed at the man's words. "You can?" He asked unimpressed. "You know you are in danger right?"
"Danger? What kind of danger?" The man asked curious.
Arculus stood up from his bed and button up his shirt. Not caring about the fact he wasn't the only one in the room. "Me, after all I'm a threat to your kind."
"I came to give you important information but you are threatening me?" Arculus laughed at the man's words while he opened his window.
"Well I am a demon after all right?" Arculus laughed and the dogs jumped out the window. They had to go back to guarding the gate. While that happened arculus took his shirt off and was preparing to sleep.
"You really don't care do you?" The man finally said.
He got in his bed and put his blankets over his body, hoping he would be able to fall asleep. "I'm glad you noticed, so if you wouldn't mind I'll like to sleep." He said while closing his eyes.
"Fine whatever but all I'm saying is, you won't like what is going to happen."
Arculus chuckled at the angel's words. "I'm sure I won't."
His eyelids became heavy, unable to keep his eyes open. The angel in the room was not a threat to him. In fact Arculus was sure he could take the angel down in his sleep, yet he didn't feel like fighting. He wanted to sleep for once, and that is what he did.
Faces.
Two faces that he had never seen before but he was sure they were familiar. Sitting in a room where there was no darkness, brightness in every single corner. Arculus wasn't sure if this was heaven. A woman that had the same skin tone as Winter stood there with a staff in her hand. Her eyes standing out and her wild curly hair being free. Right next to her was a man. His green eyes looked directly at him. Holding his gaze long enough to seem intimidating. Arculus already could tell he did not like that man.
"We are holding a meeting because there is too much happening in the human world." The woman spoke again, her voice never wavering. She held power and authority in her voice.
"That is not our issue Eznell." The man with green eyes spoke up, while crossing his arms.
"They pray to us, put faith in us. The least we can do is help them Elius." The dark skinned woman spoke up irritated.
Arculus just sat there being quiet. Looking at the two with raised eyebrows, Not saying a word. After all his reputation on earth wasn't a good one, because of the previous war.
"Are you not going to say something Arculus?" She asked him with raised eyebrows.
"What do you want me to say?" He asked confused.
"I don't know just say something." Arculus put his crown on the white table in front of him. Sitting back in his chair and relaxing.
"It's their issues therefor their problem." He said with his arms crossed.
"I swear you men are good for nothing." She said annoyed. Her accent became noticeable when she was mad or annoyed.
Arculus laughed and looked at his beloved cousin. "As much is I care about you Eznell I just can't help. Interfering with humans can cause a headache." Arculus said trying to make her understand.
"Whatever I'll take matters in my own hands." She said annoyed and stood up from her seat.
"Awh are you upset?" Elius asked while laughing.
"Leave my cousin alone Elius." Arculus defended his little cousin but than everything changed.
He didn't see their faces anymore, he wasn't in the white room anymore. There was no meeting, everything just vanished. Arculus looked down, looking at what was beneath him. He was met with chaos. Buildings burning and houses on fire. Flames burning an entire neighbourhood perhaps the whole city was in flames. Humans running around with guns shooting each other. Kids dying from hunger and the countries leader being out of the picture, assassinated to be precise. Stores where empty and everyone seemed to be on survival mode. Perhaps Eznell was right, however she has always been too kind.
His eyes shot open and he looked around him. Thinking back to his dream and everything he had seen. Wondering if this was just a dream or a vision. Because if it was a vision than he had more to prepare for.

8 165On Tilt [in progress]
Going on tilt is like falling in love: both make you foolish and should be avoided at all costs. *BROOKEI hate Dean Hollis.I tell myself that every day. And some days, I almost believe it. Some days, I sell myself on at least a solid dislike of who he is and what he stands for.Like his stupid charming smile. His stupid sculpted forearms. And his stupid addictive cologne that leaves me light in the head and weak in the knees. He's a vintage blend of infuriating and intoxicating, all in one deceptively handsome bottle.Let's not forget his notoriety for emotional hit-and-runs. Dean is a bad decision just waiting to happen. I would know.Been there, done that... Literally.*DEANI remember the first time I saw Brooke Maccabe. My first thought was, holy shit. That's the hottest girl I've ever seen. I was trying to think of a good pickup line when she walked up to our door and gave Brendan a hug.My next thought was, fuck my life. Because that dime? She was my best friend's baby sister. And she was sixteen.Verboten. Off-limits. The Demilitarized Zone. She may as well have had a blinking red neon sign over her head that read, 'Look but don't touch: Violation punishable by death'.Problem is, I really wanted to touch. And the even bigger problem is, nine years later, I did.*18+ for explicit adult content
