《BLOODTHIRSTY》38. A Mind link

Even with everything happening. A war coming and beings that were after her, she still had school and had schoolwork that needed to be taken care off. Isabelle helped her with moving all of her stuff to the castle, which she was so thankful for. Her and her boyfriend Kevin had been so kind to her and she was sorry to Isa for worrying her so much. She wanted to pay them all back, yet Isa wasn't the type to do something for someone else just to have something in return.

Later that day she met up with Andrea and Brian. Perhaps it wasn't a good idea to go out at night, however she had been to busy with moving her stuff and chatting with Isa that she hadn't seen time go by. Besides she wasn't alone, she would be really careful.

They had went to a restaurant after the movies go eat something. When Brian stood up to go to the restroom Andrea stared at her with wondering eyes. "Euh...is there something on my face sunshine?" She asked with wondering eyes.

"You told me Forest guy went to the underworld?" She asked her with raised eyebrows.

"Yeah why?" Winter asked with raised eyebrows.

"So you see a future together?" Andrea asked carefully not trying to come off as rude.

"I mean yes, but we haven't come to that point yet. I just want to take it easy." She told her while taking a sip of her drink.

Winter hadn't told Brian yet about Arculus, but she was sure that he already knew about their relationship. However he didn't know about Chris betrayal or the fact that Arculus wasn't human. Honestly she didn't know how to even start the conversation. How does she start such conversation? Winter looked up from her plate when she saw Revick coming inside.

She didn't expect to see Revick here at all. The last time she had seen him was a month ago, and he had been acting weird. Revick took a seat next to Brian while not uttering a word. It seemed as if he did not sleep the entire day or even for an entire month.

"Are you okay Rev?" She asked concerned and he looked at her with a blank expression. It took him some seconds to break in a smile but Winter knew better than to believe that.

He scratched his head as a sign of nervousness. "I'm fine, I just haven't slept well, and now I'm tired."

Winter pushed his messy hair out of his face. His earring he always were was reaching his shoulders as always. The beanie he always wore was on his hands. She stared longer into his eyes and noticed how he actually wasn't tired, all she could see was sadness.

Winter didn't want to force him to speak, however she was still worried. After everyone was done eating they said their goodbyes. Andreas girlfriend came to pick her up. While Brian wanted to drop Winter home, but she assured him that he did not have to worry about her. However Rev didn't seem to say anything. He just stood there staring at her with wondering eyes.

"Why didn't you leave with Brian?" She asked him while holding on to his arm.

"We don't live in the same building anymore, and I'm walking you home." He said simply and stared in front of him.

The walk home wasn't a long one. However she was sure if was supposed to be. The palace and the restaurant was supposed to be a 20 minute walk. However it seemed as if only 5 minute passed by. When she arrived home she couldn't bring herself to walk inside. Leaving Rev all alone with such a troubled expression on his face did not seem okay to her. So she pulled him inside of the house. Lazarus had been in the living area doing his work. While the youngest kids where already in bed.

Lazarus looked up to see who she had brought inside of his home. Gio had raised eyebrows, and the twins were staring holes in Rev's head.

"Guys please calm down, this is Rev my friend. Rev this my new family." She said while smiling, and Revick did his best to smile.

"Hi, nice to meet you all." He said however only Gio smiled at the him and answered back. Lazarus and the twins were till staring at him with raised eyebrows.

Rogan turned to Lazarus. "He smells weird."

"I don't think he is human." Rohan continued and Revick totally had forgotten that it was a house filled with vampires.

"I'm kind of a spirit." He said while looking back at Winter. "I meant to tell you that but I never got the change." He told her truthfully but Winter only smiled at him.

"It's okay Rev-" she wanted to say but was cut off by Lazarus.

"No it's not, what do you want from her?" He asked with raised eyebrows and stood up from his seat.

"I-"

"I what? Talk." Lazarus said annoyed.

"Leave him alone Lazzy. Can't you tell he isn't feeling good?" She asked while holding Revick's hand in hers. She lead him to the other living area where they could have privacy.

It was really quiet, he didn't look at her in the eyes. His heartbeat was irregular and he had all he could think off, was how everything was falling apart. All he had was Winter and Brian. He had to make sure they are okay, but he had the power of seeing things he wasn't supposed to see. The spirit of faith have given him the power to change someone's destiny. Yet he knew what was coming. Even when he had told Arculus to keep his loved ones safe, Revick knew what was coming and not he or Arculus could stop it. Revick didn't want to give up yet, he didn't want to lose hope. While he looked at winter with eyes filled with worry directed toward him made him feel upset. She was the one in danger, not him.

"Arculus is already in the underworld right?" Revick asked carefully not to worry the human girl.

"Yeah he is, I'm not sure when he is coming back though." She told him while smiling. The thought of Arculus finally coming back made her happy but somewhat scared. She had no idea of he would be a changed man or not. She just hoped he worked things out with his parents.

"I haven't told you before but I was the one that made sure you and Arculus crossed paths. I was the one that played with your destiny however you two were bound to meet one day anyway." He explained to her and Winter shrugged.

"Well thank you Rev, I'm not mad at you. However it seems like you are troubled." She said while placing her hand on his shoulder.

The images came rushing to his head. Red liquid covering everyone's body. Limbs missing, creatures heads in the hands of a monster. Red glowing eyes ready to attack everyone that even dared to move. Sharp claws cutting everyone and anyone open. Blood dripping from his body, blood that did not belong to the monster but to everyone else. Revick's head started to hurt again, images of events that were bound to happen. It was hard for him to breath. Revick could hear voices begging for their lives, he could see beings kneeled down. Bowing to the monster, asking - begging for mercy. Yet the monster didn't show none.

Revick started sweating, this time Winter could see that he wasn't sad but worried. "What's wrong Rev? You can tell me about it. You want me to get you a glass of water?" She asked him but Revick was responding.

Revick feared the monster, he had to react before that man changed into the being he saw in his head. Revick stood back up and walked in the room where Lazarus and the Twins where earlier. Lazarus raised his eyebrows when he noticed the spirit looking at him. "Is he okay?" Gio asked approaching them while staring at the man in a skeptical manner.

"No he is acting weird. He is worried about something I just don't know what." Winter shared with everyone and the twins looked.

"W-we need to hide her." Revick finally spoke up while the images played themselves over and over again inside of his head.

Winter pushed Revick on the couch. She ran towards the kitchen to get the man something to drink. She returned just to see his state worsening. "We need to hide you Winter." He said again but this time he held on to his heart. His heartbeat was beating way too fast for a spirit.

"What are you talking about Revick?" Winter asked while placing the glass of water on his lips.

Rogan walked closer towards the spirit and stared at him. "He is worried, and wants to protect you." Rogan answered calmly yet confused.

Rohan was leaning unbothered against the wall, while looking at the spirit. "He is also going to pass out." He Informed everyone in the room.

Lazarus knew that spirits where supposed to be calm and collected. If this man that claimed to be a spirit was stressing out about something, than perhaps something was really wrong. Winter sat besides Revick and still held his hands. She pushed his hair away form his face. "It's going to be alright Rev, it's going to be alright."

After an sold hour, the spirit had calmed down. He pushed the memories and the event in the back of his mind. "There is no time left. The angels are coming on earth with the demons. We have to protect the humans. W-we need to start evacuating-"

Lazarus stopped Revick from saying anything further. "We have months to prepare for the war spirit. The sources informed-"

This time the spirit cut the vampire off. "I'm not sure what sources you are relying to but it is inaccurate. We have less than a month, I'm sure the demons already know. You were informed about the war being about Arculus, but it isn't. The heavens is actually trying to dethrone Queen Kezhra. The Queen isn't the forgiving type of you haven't noticed." The spirit informed everyone and Lazarus was confused.

"We have to contact Arculus, Orobas and Amdusias." Lazarus informed them.

Rogan raised his eyebrows. "For what? I mean they are already planning an attacking right?"

"They will have to push to angels in one corner of the world, or this will be catastrophic." Lazarus told them and glanced at the spirit.

Revick frowned. "You're going to call them? Pretty sure they don't have phones in hell." Rev retorted back, and Winter had to step in before Lazarus decided to attack her friend.

"Well euh...what's the plan?" She asked them and Rohan had an idea.

"Why not ask Lente?" Lazarus glanced at Rohan as if he had lost his mind.

"She is 8 Rohan, in case you forgot." Rohan nodded his head to Lazarus words.

"Well she has telepathic powers, and I'm sure she would be happy to talk to Arculus." Rohan informed them.

They agreed to this idea and winter went upstairs to wake the little girl up. She already knew that Lente didn't go anywhere without Atalia, so it would end up with the both of them waking up. The little girl was downstairs half asleep looking at the spirit with wondering eyes. Atalia on the other hand was annoyed and stared at spirit with suspicion.

"You have pretty eyes." Lente told Revick happily while she rubbed her eyes.

The first time tonight he smiled. "Thank you, you have a pretty smile."

Lente blushed and sat in besides Rogan. "Okay Lente I need you to contact Arculus." He told the girl but she just stared at him in confusion.

"Why? I don't want to wake him up." She told him unsure. How the little girl knew that he was asleep was a mystery to all of them.

Yet the little girl agreed either way, she could sense the way everyone was on edge. She called out to him. Hoping he wouldn't wake up being worried. The little girl had just woken up but she tried to mind link everyone in the room with Arculus. That way everyone can say what they wanted to tell him.

"His awake." She said and giggled.

"Lente?" He asked in a husky voice and seemed tired. "Why are you inside of my head?"

"Lazzy wished to speak to you." The girl spoke up with a smile plastered on her face.

"Lazzy?" He laughed. "Lazzy as in Lazarus?" He asked the little girl and she found herself smiling again.

"We are reaching out to you to inform of the dangers on earth. We need you to push the angels in one corner here on earth. If they are plastered everywhere we may be in trouble." Lazarus spoke up with concern.

"I'll come by." He said while standing up from his bed.

"Your coming to earth? When?" Gio asked surprised.

Arculus chuckled at him. "Right now." He said simply while getting ready.

"You can do that?" Rohan asked confused .

"I can do anything." He said simply while breaking the connection he had with the others.

"I'm not connected anymore." Lente said a little upset, but she knew he would be here shortly so she didn't mind too much.

In a glimpse of an eye. That was all it took for him to be there in front of the door. Lazarus could smell him and he could tell he was waiting for someone to openen the door for him. Lente stood up happily and let him inside of the house. Everyone was surprised in fact everyone was taken- back. They already knew he was fast and not human, but how fast can someone actually be?

"I have arrived." He said while looking around in the room but his eyes lingered longer on the creature that had been toying with his future.

He raised his eyebrows skeptical of the spirit sitting right next to Winter. "Are we having a meeting? Perhaps I should have told Amdusias and Orobas to tag along." Arculus said while he still held the little girl in his arms.

It has only been weeks, days. They all noticed how he was so different. It was still him, they were sure it was him. His appearance didn't chance, but they could tell something changed. His aura changed and Winter noticed. It had never sank in to her that he was a demon. A demon that was meant to rule over hell, A demon born to be king one day. Arculus had found something he was looking for, for so long. The demon had found himself.

Winter was happy yet somewhere found herself being scared, after all he was a demon and she had already accepted the fact that he wasn't human. But when he stood in front of her, dark eyes scanning the room. The darkness surrounding him, and the frown on his face. She found herself fearing him. But she smiled up at him in amazement, happy to see that he was doing well. Besides there was nothing wrong with being afraid, she knew that he would never hurt her. Because she had seen the blank expression change when his eyes landend on her.

His eyes softened when his eyes locked with hers. His heart that lacked a beat skipped a one, yet he remained calm. Winter broke their eye contact and glanced at Lazarus that was speaking to her. Her beauty captivating him, not allowing him to look away. Her smile had brightened the room they were in, perhaps it brightened his world too. Arculus didn't want to face the truth but he had too, and he was fearing the outcome.
