Arculus was looking around in the office. Expecting to see the dagger that was supposed to be in this office. However he couldn't find anything, so he walked back to where he was supposed to meet with the two other demons. However he could hear crying coming out of a closet. Arculus walked in a dark room and looked around. In the corner he could see a closet and walked towards it. He opened the closet just to find a little girl holding on to this little boy as if her life depended on it.

The child's cries only became louder when he tried to approach them. "I won't hurt you. Look." Arculus tried to use his powers and do a little trick to calm the children down.

It took several minutes to win the kids trust over and to make them get out of the closet. Arculus walked down the stairs with kids in his arms. When he heard loud screams coming from downstairs. He figured that bringing kids into a place where there is too much violence would not be a smart idea. They have seen enough already. So he went back to the room and put them back in the closet.

"Ill go downstairs and stop whatever is going on there. Than I'll come back for the both of you." Arculus whispered softy.

Lente nodded her head, and Arculus found himself ruffling the little girls head. He closed the closet and went downstairs, this is when he saw demons in every corner. Arculus didn't even know there would be so many of them. He was certain that this was over the top. They didn't need an entire army to save his snowflake and some kids.

"Well look who we have here." Lazarus spoke up with a not so happy face.

Orobas tried to keep Arculus from meeting the man. In his mind he had already planned everything, he does the talking and Arculus steal the object. However they ended up in this room and the vampire leader did not seem happy with what was happening in the moment.

"This is bad." Amdusias whispered under his breath. "This is really bad."

Lazarus glared at everyone in the room. He went up to the kids and stood besides them. "You have seen what you have done? Killing my guards and they you proceeds to hurt innocent kids. All of this for what?" Lazarus screamed again, and Atalia found herself covering her ears.

"Aren't you the one that is holding people hostage?" Arculus spoke up with anger evident in his voice.

"If you idiots had done your researches than you would know why. Yet you just went out of your way and assumed the worst. Tell me now is it really my fault that you all have been stupid?" The vampire spoke up again and Amdusias had to keep himself from speaking up.

Orobas commanded the demons to go away, he figured that 3 demons would be enough to take this man down. He never really wanted a whole army however Amdusias thought it would be fun to mess with peoples minds. Orobas just wanted his dagger back, the object that could kill every being. If this object landed in bad hands, this could be the end for everyone.

"Go back upstairs kids." Lazarus commanded the kids, however Rohan looked at all the demons in the room. He looked them up and down and glanced back at Lazarus.

"Miss are you coming with us?" Rogan asked with raised eyebrows. But somewhere in his voice his anger towards the demons could be heard. Which was a rare sight since Rogan was the more reserved twin.

"I'll be right behind you, I'll have to make sure no one ends up being injured." Winter said while looking between the demons and the vampire.

Rogan nodded his head in understanding, however when Arculus was trying to hug Winter Rohan pushed her back. His blue eyes glowing, showing his anger to everyone in the room.

"It's okay Rohan, his not the enemy." Winter tried to reassure him however Rohan did not believe her.

He turned around to face Winter. "They gave me bruises slapped me across the face, and even tried to hang me up. And you are trying to tell me that they are not the enemy? I hope for each and single one of you that the rest of the kids are okay. I swear I'll rip your hearts out if they aren't." Rohan was pissed off, he always had a bad temper. However the situation they were in made the beast hidden inside of him almost show himself.

Arculus understood the kids anger so he backed off. It seemed like they had gone through a lot and the child's instinct was to protect his own first. He figured the young man was referring to the two kids he had found in the closet.

"Okay, understood." Arculus said while taking steps back.

"Calm down Rohan." Rogan told his brother and helped him up the stairs.

The room was silent again, Winter wanted to speak up however she had no idea what to say. She felt saddened at the fact that the kids are hurt. She was angry since she couldn't do anything to stop them. The children she seen enough already, and she only made it worse.

"If the dagger is what you want, you can have it. I already used it and I have no use for it now. However no one just barge in my place and kill my guards. Know your place demons." He screamed furious at demons in the room and as much Arculus didn't like people to raise their voice to him, he understood where he was coming from.

"Can you at least explain why you have people locked up?" Arculus asked and Lazarus scoffed.

"Why do they lock people in hell?" Lazarus asked him a question back.

"To punish." Amdusias answered in Arculus place.

"Well I'm doing the same, beside tribrid don't you think you have enough of things to worry about?" The question was left unanswered. Nor Amdusias or Orobas would think he would now the truth.

"Tribrid?" Arculus asked confused.

"Oh don't tell me Orobias didn't tell you anything." Lazarus turned around to watch Orobas shaking his head, warning him not to utter a word. "Perhaps he didn't want you to know."

Arculus turned around and locked eyes with Orobas. "What the hell is he talking about?"

"Don't listen to hi-" Orobas was cut off by Lazarus laughter.

"Have you heard of the Queen from the underworld, I'm sure you have heard of her." Lazarus told the man that was supposed to be hiding in the dark. The truth felt like a punch to his face. "Queen Kehzra, I have met her once. She is truly breathtaking." Lazarus spoke up again, and Orobas felt like killing him on the spot. Amdusias wanted to throw one of his knifes at him. No one spoke about the Queen.

"I'm not sure if they told you about the secret she kept as if her life depended on it. Haven't they told you about the angel she had married ? I personally thought it was just a rumour, but no it's actually true, isn't it ironic?" Lazarus laughed. "A demon marrying an angel. You know what kind of sin this is? The gods would have never forgiven the angel if they had known. So the Queen was his wife living in the dark, she was a secret and he was her secret." Lazarus could feel the anger swelling up inside of the man. Yet he did not shut his mouth. "But do you know what was worse?" Lazarus asked Arculus and watched the priceless expression on his face. Arculus was quiet and let the vampire carry on.

"They had a child together, and that child alone brought enough chaos to every single being that it drove everyone insane. There was a legend saying that this child alone could harm an entire legions of demons. There was a rumour saying he had the strength of a thousand men. This child was an abomination. A disappointment that the Heavens did not want to lay their eyes on, so they send people to kill him." Lazarus watched the way the man hidden in the dark was hurting, and deeply troubled.

"You want to now who the child is?" The vampire lord asked arculus, however arculus was silent. He wasn't sure what was happening but he could feel it in his chest, the pain he thought he got rid off. His parents didn't want him, was the only thing he could think off. But he put the thoughts in the back of his head. Sadness overwhelming him but he sucked it up.

"It is you Arculus, you never wondered where that scar on your heart came from?" Winter could remember seeing the scar the day she got attacked by Amdusias. It was right on the place where his heart was supposed to be. Someone had tried to kill him. She wanted to comfort him because she knew he needed a hug, but she was too scared to move. Everyone was already on the edge.

"When you were a child your own nanny tried to kill you. Normally the Queen was a calm lady, despise her bad temper. However she beheaded the maid who had done this with her own hands. Royalty does not get their hands dirty. Your mother truly loved you." Lazarus relaxed and made his fangs and claws go away. His eyes went back to its original colour. After all he had to calm down, this was a moment he had been wating for.

"They send you here on earth to protect you however there is something worse coming." The vampire lord informed everyone in the room but Arculus felt sadden by the news Lazarus had just shared.

Arculus believed that his parents did not want him, whatever the reason may have been. He had believed that it would have been a good one. Yet everyone saw him as a monster and tried to kill him. It was bad enough for his parents to send him away. This only proved the people right, maybe he was a monster.

Amdusias only grew more angry the more he heard the bloodsucker talk. "I seriously don't like vampires."

Orobas glared at Amdusias letting him know that this was not the time. "Worse? We already now what is coming, there is nothing to fear." Orobas tried to lighten the mood but Lazarus laughed.

"There is a war coming between the angels and the demons. This earth would be the battlefield." Winter found herself gasping after what Lazarus said. "And you say there is nothing to fear?" The vampire leader laughed again and shook his head.

"Tell me Arculus which side would you be Choosing?" Lazarus asked curious however the man glanced at Winter. Observing her like he had always done. Looking for any bruises or wounds from a distance, yet he could not see a thing. If she was roaming around freely, arculus figured that perhaps she wasn't treated badly. So there wasn't a need for him to feel so threatened by Lazarus.

"Why do I even have to pick a side?" Arrculus asked annoyed.

"This war concerns you too Arculus." Amdusias said irritated. "In fact it concerns everyone. It's not only about angels and demons, what do you think will happen to humans? To every single being here on earth?" Amdusias asked him with a raised eyebrow.

"Why is the war even here on earth, they have nothing to do with this matter, we will have to protect the humans first." Arculus give as an answer.

"How are you even planning on doing that?" Amdusias asked him and Orobas looked between them, hoping that there won't be an other fight between them two.

"I do not want to get myself involved in a way. I didn't even know what I was some months ago." Arculus complained however Lazarus shook his head.

"It seems like you are forgetting what is really happening. This war is between your kind." Lazarus reminded Arculus.

"I do not care. If they had the power to send me away, wipe my memories than they can handle this themselves too." Arculus retorted back and sat down on a couch that was close by.

"How do you now all of this?" Winter turned around to Lazarus and asked.

"I have my ways beloved."

Arculus raised his eyebrows at the two. He wasn't sure why he felt irritated but he kept his mouth shut. Amdusias also looked between the two and raised his eyebrows.

"Is it me or did you two grow closer, too close in fact." Amdusias asked out loud and glanced at Arculus.

"I'll clear some miss understandings. Winter will not return home." Arculus this time glanced at Lazarus to see if he fall on his head. Arculus wasn't sure what was wrong with it however it seemed like he was forgetting who he was dealing with. "In fact her mother and her brother will be moving here soon. The kids don't need to be saved, they are fine but you all ruined it by barging and making them terrified." Lazarus shared with everyone in the room and winter looked surprised.

"Wait what, they are coming here?" Winter asked confused.

"Yes beloved."

"Why do she need to stay here?" Arculus complained.

"Because it's too dangerous out there." Lazarus answered simply.

Arculus wasn't happy with the news at all. In fact he was annoyed. "I can protect her just fine."

"You are wanted Arculus, beings all over the world have been looking for you. This place is safer. I'll will not risk her life or her family's life." Lazarus answered and Arculus sighed. Things just took a turn it seems.

"Why are we even doing all of this?" Amdusias asked out loud. "This looks too much like a meeting than an invasion." He complained again.

"You will need me if you want to win the war against the angels." Lazarus told them and only Orobas was able to agree with him.

"What is this war about?" Arculus asked while still stealing glances from Winter.

"It's about you, it has always been about you. The heavens want you to be executed. However your mother does not agree with the ancient council. Besides heaven and the underworld have never been able to come to an agreement regarding anything." The vampire shared with everyone.

Arculus was confused to why he could never take it easy. There was always something wrong. Perhaps if he never went looking for the truth this would not be happening. Yet just like that the demons and the vampire made an agreement. From this day on they became allies, even when Amdusias didn't want to work with a vampire. Allies that planned on stopping the angels, they planned on putting an end to this war.
