《The Solitary Sword Sovereign》Decapitation

"Love... ah, yes! My father always said the world would be better without it because, for it or against it, man will always fight."
These sudden words caught the attention of most, undoubtedly confusing some. Was this supposed to impress Rhino? But this wasn't Will's voice. Within microseconds, Aurora would understand the meaning of these words. Will's silhouette was split in two by a sword, but there was no blood, the visage quickly dissipated into mist.
"Eric are you fucking crazy? Do you not enjoy breathing?"
Rhino brought out two Ranger Shotguns and held them akimbo at the so-called Eric.
A blonde man stood behind where Will was supposed to be. He had unusually long hair. In his hand was a sharp weapon akin to a rapier.
Eric was adorned in white all over. A white suit that had medals, similar to what one might assume Napoleon wore. Eric was indeed dashing but in quite a feminine way. Were it not for his height and broad shoulders, one could have thought him a woman. Just looking at him gave Rhino the chills. She hated girly men the most. Alas, Eric thought otherwise.
"There is no need to associate with such trash, lady Rhino is already betrothed to me, as is part of the regulations of our alliance!"
Rhino was a strange one, and logic dictated that only stranger people would worship her over Aurora, and Eric was one such man. Suffice to say, he was a well-known booty man. How did people know? Well, the answer was simple: whenever Eric spoke to her, he would ignore her face completely and adjust himself to see her ass. It was blatant disrespect and perversion, but they had no choice but to deal with due to Eric's unique identity.
"Rhino! Stand down. Do you really think that could take him down?"

'Right! It's him!'
"Yeah Rhino, shouldn't you have a little faith in me?" Will's voice rang out. Everyone was stunned. Rhino was shocked to the point that she dropped her guns…
And Rhino never drops her guns.
This time, the reason was simple, yet shocking. Will was leaning on Eric, Sasuke-style. You know, like when he met Naruto for the first time in shippu-
Ahem, anyway, everyone was like 'Oh shit. It's about to go down', or something...
Rhino never detected a thing. Will appeared in front of everyone as if he had been invisible the whole time. Eric was outraged due to loss of face, but his anger wasn't red hot fast. It was cool, calm, and collected. At that moment, he had become ice.
Not only had Will somehow appeared magically, but he had also spun Eric, so they were now facing opposite directions. Eric was now facing emptiness, while Will was looking at Rhino and Co.
"Lady Ashley must surely have faith in me." Will's words did not garner the response they were supposed to, for one simple reason.
Certainly, Eric and Will were as different as an apple from an orange. Alas, both were still fruits.
"Solitary, what are you looking at! That's not her face!" bellowed Eric. The young man looked stupid, but he clearly had some skill. He didn't even need to look behind himself to notice where Will's line of sight was.
Will merely replied, "Sorry bro, my no homo dude touching time limit is about to be reached, peace." As such, he pushed at Eric's face. It wasn't a fast motion. In fact, it really was rather slow, as if it were taking its time. Or perhaps, it would be more accurate to say it was moving at the speed of a regular mortal. To people at high levels, it was no different to slow motion. Eric got angry once more.

'This fool is shaming me once more! He needs to die!'
Eric saw himself as a judge, a jury, and... the third thing. He couldn't stand this and tried to move, but it was hard. For some odd reason, his body felt as if it was in a swamp? Or was it hardening cement? Maybe quicksand? Eric was not sure, because he had never felt any of those things. All he knew was that there was some strange sensation all over his body about being wet. Indeed, Eric was getting wet.
He couldn't understand this as he was clearly dry. Microseconds passed and Will's palm was well on its way. Eric could not understand what was happening. Then Will's palm finally reached his face. It was as if Eric was a dam facing a tsunami. With each passing second, the force was getting stronger and stronger, until it finally reached the peak. The swamp-like sensation disappeared, but it was the only thing keeping Eric from facing the full brunt of the wave of power. Now, however…
Boom!
Eric's body was launched into the skies. To those observing it was ridiculous. It was as if Eric stood there and did nothing. Wating to get palmed. If a level 85 user pushed you, then it's obvious you would get blown away!
'It's almost as if he couldn't move.' A few, such as Aurora came to the same conclusion. Before they could bask in the wonder and strangeness of what just happened, Will arrived before Aurora and sent a message via intent. Aurora remembered this sensation; the same as during the global message!
She no longer had a reason to doubt him. She turned and bellowed orders. "Solitary, Rhino and I are going to have a meeting. Everyone, stay here and meet with Eric's followers and explain what happened. This is a direct order!"
The aura of a commander burst out of Aurora, soliciting a reaction.
"Yes, ma'am!"
One would not expect a group that dressed in such a haphazard manner to have discipline. But they saluted loudly regardless.
Will sensed this sudden change. There was no doubt that Aurora had used some sort of charm ability. It was slightly similar to very weak intent, hence why Will was sensitive to it.
Before the trio could arrive, a huffing fatty came and shouted, "I have sent the information you needed sir."
Will smiled, "Thank you."
Will turned away and began walking.
'Ah yes before I forget.'
While everyone was about to move on, they heard a small thump. Mein's headless body had fallen to the ground. His head had rolled a few feet away from the corpse, with its eyes wide open from fear.
Will waved toward Mein's home and said, "Ladies, after you."

Observations of the Nameless
Sometimes the world will just whirl by without a care for its inhabitants. Each passing day bring a new experience unlike the one before it. Why do we do anything... That's a really good question, isn't it? Author's Note: Each chapter is about 300 words, so that's the reason for the short story tag even though this will be a (somewhat) ongoing series. Expect an update twice a week on Tue/Wed and on Fri/Sat. No set time, but likely afternoon or evening.

Grey Worlds
A mysterious incident occurred on a otherwise normal science centered world where all of the children from the age range of eight to sixteen suddenly vanished. “Where have their kids gone and will they ever return?” The now childless parents never got to really ask that question, because a strange new element replaced their lost children. This element slowly mutated the various animals that they once ruled over with their technology to the point that they were immune to their modern weaponry. The barren land of savages on a continent far away from theirs also had their children taken, but they easily mutated just like the beasts and only grew stronger thanks to the incident. A revolution of animals eventually took place after the mutations started to cause the animals to understand just how badly the humans ruined their lives and planet. Humans were the slowest to figure out how to use this strange new element to evolve, while their opponents were evolving and growing stronger by the day they couldn’t even surpass their modern technology. When humanity was on the brink of extinction a long forgotten event finally ended and their children finally started to return from the various worlds they were summoned to! It turns out that the mysterious new element that they didn’t know what to call was mana and that it’s everywhere in some fantasy planets. The children brought back a increase in technology and techniques to grow stronger with, which caused the humans to finally be able to build safe havens for their race. They grew stronger and started to finally adapt to their brand new environment. This is the story of a orphan who was taken away from his world, before he could gain a sense of attachment to the world. Who only has his older sister to care about and how he ends up adapting to the new world in front of him.------------------Dog notes by doggo First 'five' chapters aren't what the story is really about and is more of a prologue. The reason why some are separated into parts is because Doggo originally posted them as a entire chapter. The main setting is Ghost's actual world and not any foreign world. So this story was already posted once to another site or this site three years ago… and Dog is finally ending that three year hiatus! The explanation on why Dog was on a three year hiatus would of been written in the review section, but rrl doesn't allow self reviews. I'd have to create a alt just to self review which they obviously don't want even tho I'd not give myself any stars so its going to be here instead. The update schedule is a chapter a week till Dog get a editor and then two chapters a week till Dog gets enough money to pay for Dog’s bills. The final goal is to release a chapter every other day. Dog writes 4k word chapters so they are about twice as long as some of the other authors so every other day is actually more like once a day. ------------------- The part that was supposed to be the 'review' which Dog wont bother editing out repeat infomation since it wasn't supposed to go here in the first place. The first thing Dog will go over is what changed for the first 5 chapters, so that anyone who still remembers Dog's little novel and wants to continue from where Dog originally left off can decide whether or not to reread it. Also Dog is moving over to qidan simply because dog like the app they have. Dog won't go premium even if Qidan tells dog to and will simply move back to royalroad or create a blog. The things that changed over the years are mainly two important things. The first is that Dog changed the first person point of view to a third person, because Dog read a really bad first person novel and it reminded dog of dogs own novel. Dog also changed the thoughts of the character to be - - instead of italics. Finally dog changed chapter 3 completely to make the mc not seem like a homicidal maniac and introduced a important character in chapter 3.What happened to do in the three years that dog was away? Was dog at college and now needs money to eat? Was dog off in space after successfully becoming a astronaut and has now returned home with a completed novel or two? The answer is actually quite plain dog graduated from highschool and was supposed to only spend a year at dogs owners house to choose what major dog wanted to go to college for.Dog didn't do that and is still stuck with dogs owners and is sick of being a neet. Dog wants to move and buy doggy food, but dog is antisocial and doesn't want to work a simple 9 to 5 job for the rest of dogs life. Dog is a reader before dog is a author and the reason why dog got into writing was because dog wanted to write a novel without all the things dog finds annoying. Dog spent the first year reading various novels and dropping various novels. Dog is all caught up and has to much free time on dogs paws. The first year that Dog took off was the very same year that qidan came out so dog was naturally overloaded with free chapters. But now that pemium exists dog naturally has to limit the amount dog can read. Dog is addicted to reading like my very own readers and can understand your frustrations for dog disappearing for 3 years.Dog decided that dog will go back to writing 2 years ago. Dog wanted a decent stockpile incase dog has any other emergency so dog didn't post for a year but then dog decided to change the point of view which took another year.Dog has a patreon page https://www.patreon.com/mclaindog but there isn't any tiers there or goals till dog gets a editor. My final goal is to release a chapter every other day, but as long as Dog gets a editor Dog will do two free chapters a week.Dog will probably also make a kofi for anyone who just wants to send dog a tip and can't afford to donate money monthly while maybe having bonus chapters if the tip jar gets filled.
