"Good night." Nadia's roommate said and got on her bed.

"Good night," Nadia replied on her bed. She closed the bible she had been reading and looked up at the ceiling while laying on the bed.

Her first day at the university turned out outlandish and eccentric in a marvelously incredible manner from the conservative and timid person that she was. But the marvel wasn’t because of the institution's coruscating nature and features, but because of her meeting with a certain male student who was studying the same course she did.

The first glance she had with him was a glance of extraordinary meaning. His smoothly shaven dark-skinned face with a broad and tall physique attracted her and equally resulted in an upshot of hormonal reaction in her body- all to her surprise due to the person she was.

But the hormonal reaction seemed not to care who she was or simply turned a blind eye when it further upsurged after she came to focus from the accidental fall she had with the same gentleman. She clearly saw the gentleman’s suavely and handsome physiognomy features that entailed evenly square jaw, ski-slop nose, pursed lips, white and perfectly even teeth, and strikingly noticeable aqueous brown eyes that were no doubt his prominent feature which likely made women melt whenever they saw it. To call him handsome was an understatement and almost an abuse.

So, even the deeply religious can be attracted to other people and their hormones awakened from the attraction! She had never thought and even believed there would be any man who would trigger the sexual hormones in her body while she was still at the helm of Almighty’s work. But now it seemed she was wrong, and the wrong itself came with a shocker.

Then she started to interact with the gentleman. And from the interaction, she learned that they had so much in common and the friendship was amazingly fitting and compatible. The man was noble, interesting, intelligent and respectful, making her like and admire his character and charisma. Through the attraction he had for him and the colorful personality he possessed, she had found herself feeling a connection with the man; a connection she had never felt for any man before throughout her nineteen years of age.

She knew how deep biblical beliefs and practices ran in her blood and heart. This alone automatically made her a lady of moral sense and character. Her manners, morals, habits and behavior was a replica of how the Almighty wanted His flock to live.

Through her natural gift of intellect that was almost at a scholarly level in religious precept and creed, she had intensely and thoroughly studied the bible until she knew what was wrong and right, what pleased the Almighty and what displeased Him, and what was accepted in the Lord's eyes and what was sinful. The knowledge itself had made her a staunch and influential person among the youths in her society.

This made her always believe that her glorious and celebrated religious knowledge could not allow any single matter in the whole world to get in her and make her intentionally debase into sinful acts or commit wrong-doing which would displease the Lord, yet there was one that had started playing around in her heart; the feeling she had already developed towards the man she met.

She knew that such feelings towards the opposite sex could easily lead to a sinful act, and so much in her case where her hormones were awakened from only looking at the man's physical features. What if I see him shirtless in his alluring muscles that still protruded to be seen even when wearing a shirt? She cleared her sudden thought and focused on what she was to do before going to sleep. The Lord my Shepherd and my Guide. It is You alone that I seek aid from and the path through which I walk on in my life. Shine my path with the torch of your illumination so that your humble lamb and faithful servant don't stumble or get lost in the path.

She believed that God, who was always at her heart, would guide and make her always defeat the urge, desire and impulse that resulted in the sinful acts of the feeling that was now upon her. She prayed to always manage the feeling and make sure it stayed within the bounds of friendship.
