《Between Reality: G.Y Aspect》42: The Caring Gentlemen

Michael and Tyson were both relieved after seeing the friend and the woman he cherished and adored the most getting out of Club Munch entertainment joint through its rear surveillance camera from Michael’s laptop,
"Thank God it turned out fine!" Michael said, his eyes still glued to the laptop displaying the friend and the woman he carried getting into the recognizable car that had been parked with the driver’s door left open.
"Yeah, this was a miracle from the Father Himself," Tyson affirmed in agreement with the friend while also watching the display from the laptop. As he watched, a thought occurred to mind. He turned to the friend with the thought, "Hold on, Mike, there is something here I am not piecing together. You say that these are hidden cameras?"
Michael nodded, "Some can be visible, but they are in almost all places inside and outside the club."
"And they are controlled and monitored by computers?"
"That's how surveillance cameras work. They are linked to computers or screen devices and appliances in control rooms."
"And these computers or devices are watched by people in charge to see what is going on in the club?"
Michael stared at the friend, "Are you trying to be sarcastic? I really cannot be able to tell at the moment because of the experience I have just seen and heard."
"Well, fair enough." Tyson snickered in a fairly serious manner, "Okay. If the surveillance are watched by these people in the control rooms, didn't they see what was going on with these guys and Kate? Anybody could be able to tell that there was something up regarding the way they carried Kate from where she was at the club’s counter and down to those dark corridors, no?"
Michael stared thoughtfully for a moment, "To think of it, you are actually making sense in something you ought not to know about. And they are called control panel security guards, not people in charge in the control rooms." He paused to consider what the friend had put across, "That was indeed a long time for nothing to have been done. These guys are supposed to be keenly watchful all around the clock to ensure they deal or altogether eliminate anything undesirable that happens in the club."
"Can you be able to get to the control room and see what is going on?" Tyson suggested.
Michael snorted while rolling his eyes, "You could have rather said let us get in the control room and see what is going on." He turned back to his laptop, "Getting in the control room will be a clinch and literally easier than a piece of cake."
“Indeed it will be.” Tyson rolled his eyes as well from the friend’s cocksure manner. He then calmly watched as Michael hacked the surveillance camera in the club's system observation control room. It only took him a couple of seconds to hack the rotating surveillance camera in the room. After it was done, the camera was now in his charge, doing what he pleased with it.
He started rotating it around the control room to get its feed, simply from the comfort of his laptop and the couch he was sitting on, "There are the surveillance monitors showing the camera feeds, and hence clearly verifying they are working just fine." Michael pointed out while still rotating the camera using certain keys from his laptop’s keyboard. Upon getting to a feed through the rotation of the camera, he suddenly stopped, with wonder on his features, "This is what he does!" He stared at the feed with feral eyes, "That ape of a monkey!"

Tyson as well stared in wonder at the feed that showed the control panel security guard comfortably seated with his legs crossed over on top of a table while watching the night concert on television before him, "This explains why and how poor the security of the club is." Tyson sadly shook his head.
"That is not even it!" Michael grizzled with a tinge of bitterness, "What does that stupid monkey has that gets people so interested in him? I absolutely don't see anything in Wizzy F!"
"He's got talent, buddy." Tyson got up from where he sat with the friend and began heading toward the corridor that led into the other rooms of the house.
"He's got talent my foot!" Michael looked at him go, "A monkey at the carnivore show circus has more talent than he would ever have. And this is coming from a guy who knows monkeys from such circus shows." He was barely heard from his yapping as the friend vanished in one of the rooms in their rental house.
Tyson came back to the living and sat with Michael watching the night program while waiting for their friend from his heroic rescue of the woman he loved.
It didn't take much time when Lei finally arrived with Katelyn in the house as she still lay weak in his arms. He headed directly to his room, still carrying her. The friends followed behind.
When Tyson had gone to his room leaving Michael gabbling and prattling in the living room, he was after certain medical supplies that would aid in the state and condition the friend’s cherished woman was in and had gone through.
"She was on a razor edge!" Lei gently put her on his bed in the bedroom, the friends behind him, "I can't imagine what would have happened if I hadn't got there in time." He shook his head gloomily.
Tyson moved closer while preparing a solution in a syringe, "You got there in time. That is what is important and what matters." He got near Katelyn about to inject her but Lei suddenly stopped him by blocking the syringe with his hand.
Tyson looked surprised by the act, "I am a doctor, buddy. I know what I am doing."
As if he had forgotten due to what was still etched in his mind concerning the lady- a lady that was deep in his heart, Lei gently let go and allowed the friend to continue with what he was about to do. Damn! It had slipped my mind that he is among the best doctors I know. All because of the love I feel towards her. His eyes slowly came to the lady. She was now relaxed and looked to be in peace, unlike a short while ago when he found her in panic and worry.
Katelyn still felt indistinct awareness around her, but found herself extremely weak and fatigued due to the effect of the drug that was put in her drink. She could distantly be able to hear and realize her surroundings. She trusted the surroundings.
"How do you know the right medication to give?" Lei asked the friend, "Will rest alone not help?"
"Maybe the rapists used one of the date rape drugs on her. Maybe ketamine, rohypnol or GHB." Tyson searched for a vein in Katelyn's arm as he answered the friend’s questions, "These drugs are dangerously harmful and may cause anything from extreme impaired motor skills, disorientation, potentially fatal respiratory failure, to anything serious enough to cost her life. Rest alone will not help."

He located a vein in Katelyn’s arm and used a piece of cotton wool dipped in a spirit solution to disinfect the area and rubbed the vein so as to show it out for easier observation, "The medication I am giving her contains a standardized mixture of diazepam and lorazepam drugs- or the required clinical medication of benzodiazephine drug- in any case I am sounding French, and will enable clear those worries that I have just mentioned_"
"Benzodia- what?" Michael stared at the doctor friend, "You still sound French."
Tyson injected the solution into the vein he located, "Mike, every word in medical book and dictionary will sound French to you." He slowly began infusing the medication solution in the lady’s vein, "The solution will clear her dizziness, drowsiness and weakness by morning, and any other effect of any date rape drug they could have used on her." He finished the injection and turned to Lei, "In the morning she will wake up fresh and totally okay."
Bless you, Ty. I will owe you for this, you and Mike both, and will never forget it as long as I live. Lei breathed a heavy sigh of relief as he looked at the most special person in his life. The medication seemed to be already taking effect, as she was now fully relaxed and getting asleep. He prepared and positioned her comfortably on the bed and took the bed’s duvet blanket to cover her with it.
After making sure she was in the best position of relaxation and quiescence from the somnolence state she was in, he turned to one of the friends with hands in the pocket, "You already have knowledge of benzodiazephine drugs?” That can be likely since we are men with wondrous abilities in the different scientific fields we study. “And you have the drugs here in the house?" Now this is an astonishing one and beyond our abilities, because the drugs are rare to find. They are limited drugs and scarcely available in the area we are in, yet you have them in your bedroom, Ty!
“I have also heard of those rape drug stuffs,” Michael mumbled in his part, not wanting to sound assured because it was a matter he understood the least compared to all the knowledge and worldly information that he knew. Then he changed his tone of voice in what he was to say next, to one that almost had an effect close to a stentorian voice, “But if our buddy has knowledge about them drugs, it means he is one of us- the three gods walking among men.” He mentioned in his usual self-centered bumptiousness.
Tyson shook his head with an amused smile, then came to the leader of their trio group, "Lei, this house is occupied by people who are way ahead even more than the majority of adult professionals in their fields. It can be even close to what Mike has just said, three walking gods among men."
“Not close, buddy, it is the case.” Michael corrected according to his own view in what he had mentioned, with hands at the hips, “We are gods, nigga.” His eyes were focused on Tyson, “We are deities. No one out there can match who we are.”
Tyson ignored him to continue with what he was saying, “We are unique people in what we all study and are by far greater than most of the professionals in these studies.” He looked at Michael, "This monkey here understands everything related to computers, softwares and hardware systems," He came back to Lei, "You, on the other hand, define what truly technology is and its revolution. You have eyes and brains that look at anything machine-like and think of making it better. You would make it far more better that it will marvel everybody.”
“What does that make me, then? Not able to have knowledge of a common drug in the medical book?" Tyson put on a smile, "You do know that I can confidently be able to perform a heart plant surgery. I have gone through the theory a thousand times, as well as other organ transplants in the human body. This means just like you two, I am fully acquainted in my area of expertise, and benzodiazephine covers less than one percent of the expertise."
His friends simply stared as he gave them the information. It seemed new to them, yet they knew it was a matter that was likely to be a subsistence or one that could happen in their unique lives.
Tyson was still at Lei, "And when was the last time you were in my room? I have got many things in there. Things that I know the men in this house would need, even if only once in their lives. And I knew the men would have lovers in their lives, lovers who are city-oriented. Things can happen to such ladies when they are out there interacting with their friends, or simply when they are alone attending to their business. We can pray and hope for such things never to happen to them, but…” Tyson’s eyes moved to the sleeping lady on the bed, “Either way the things can still happen, irrespective of our prayers and hope because that is how the world is. It is cruel. You all know how cruel it is. So, I shouldn’t start delivering a lecture from it while you already know how cruel the world is."
Lei simply stared at him, finding reason and logic in his information. Indeed the world is cruel! I had never hoped or even imagined my lover to undergo a rape case, but here is my angel who almost had the fate. Can it happen again? Can I be able to prevent it? Can I be able to do something about it? He shoveled the thoughts away and focused on the positive that had happened in the night. The positive that made him come to learn that both of his friends’ skills capabilities and intelligence were not only acquired knowledge, but also gifted intelligence.
