Hearing a commotion happen outside, the three figures faced one another and hurried out since they heard Mei Mei barking within that ruckus. "Mei Mei!?" Lin Ning called out, but Cao Peizhi and Yi Changpu saw something else occur. Mei Mei was protecting Chun Yunchen from the other soldiers around.

"I was in the way?! You all were clearly mocking me for being a lowly human just now! Every one of us is human! Calling me a lowly being or even an enslaved person is enough to make me take action!" Chun Yunchen argued against the three soldiers mocking him since he appeared one day out of the blue with no background or origin.

Chun Yunchen held a smile, looking down at the wolf that protected him in his defense. "I'm alright." Patting her head, he then stared back at the men in front of him.

"I will ask again. Did you three really mock another?" Yi Changpu could see that they were still the rookie soldiers that only arrived.

"Of course we did. How can someone such as him be at the Zhao Border? Don't you think it is suspicious of him to walk around and take things without permission? He is only a child, but even a child can be an enemy."

Lin Ning was about to get herself involved when Cao Peizhi held her back. "Don't worry. With the Crown Prince there, then nothing will happen to Chun Yunchen." Cao Peizhi knew that Lin Ning was about to take a step forth but stopped her in time before she did so.

Yi Changpu shook his head to see how the soldiers who arrived were getting more lazy and stupid without thinking. "Send them back to their families. We don't need soldiers who won't follow the rules." Yi Changpu had surprised the three rookie soldiers who had been surrounded by higher-ranking soldiers.

Chun Yunchen did not like how those three men would say something like that to the Crown Prince of Zhao. 'No Crown Prince should be treated like that. They must really want to die.' Staring at Yi Changpu, he could see that the Crown Prince had a bothered look on his face. 'He needs a little encouragement.
