Lei restlessly paced back and forth in the living room while periodically glancing at the wall clock. The agitation and anxiety that was upon him seemed evidently impossible to control. He couldn't understand why the little incident throbbed with such significance in his heart. Is it because I love her too much?

"Lei, if you are not going to stop I will stop you!" Michael fiercely looked at him, seated on one of the room's couches with a packet of his favourite crisps at hand, "How worse will it be then if you are married and she is in a labour room?"

Lei stopped and looked at the friend, "I didn't necessarily have to hear that."

"My point exactly. You worry too much where too little is required. She is a big girl who has been living her life longer than she has been your girlfriend... and by the way she is not even your girlfriend yet. There is so much that should make you not to worry the way you are worrying." Michael said and turned back to the ongoing night program on their living room television.

"And by the way, just a little curiosity on a matter in the same subject." Tyson, seated beside Michael, joined in, "Who organizes night concerts on weekdays? Especially on a Monday? Don't they have competent organizers?"

"It is probably Wizzy F himself pushing these things to happen because everything about him is incompetent." Michael said, crossing his legs on the living room table, "His shoutings and noises that he calls music with puppet-like stage performance... Anyone who goes to his concerts and listens to his songs is a monkey like he is..." He paused, turning to Lei, "Apart from your Kate if she decided to go."

Lei put his hands on the hips with a concerned look on his face, "She is at least supposed to call and inform me of her decision!"

"If she hasn't," Tyson shared his thought with eyes at the friend, "Maybe she thought of what you said and decided not to go. You never know, maybe she decided to stay back at home or campus."

"Maybe, Ty." Lei eyed back at the friend, "That maybe is what is driving my night into a pool of worriedness. The one you are seeing."

"Then call her." Michael as well shared his thought, "You also have the option of calling her. It's not like written anywhere that she should be the one to call first_"

At that particular moment, Lei's cell phone started ringing. The three best friends exchanged glances as it called.

"Your night should now be at peace." Michael said, "I bet that is her."

Lei checked the caller on his phone, "Absolutely not! Believe me, guys, it is her sister." He picked the call.

"Hallo, Lei, I hope I didn't catch you at a bad time," Diana said on the other end of the line. Her voice was intentionally tuneful.

"Of course not, Diana." Lei said, "It's not a bad time at all."

"Not even sleep time?" Diana said teasingly.

"If there is somebody who sleeps at this hour," Lei said, "Then there should be a reason why, and a good reason."

Diana softly laughed, "That is fair. Anyway, I have called to inform you about something, or rather your say on it."

"I am all ears."

"A chance came by that made me get two tickets for Saturday's match between Gor Mahia and Ulinzi Stars, and since I don't know much about football, I was hoping to go with somebody who knows it- hopefully you if you can." Diana's tone of voice was coaxingly honeyed as she talked over the phone.

She had already delved into the gentleman's life and found that he was a great fan of football and a die-hard supporter of Ulinzi Stars Football Club. Getting the information was quite easy for her, and she hoped the gentleman would take the bait. No man can deny such an opportunity, especially one that comes with tickets to watch the match live in the stadium.

Lei was pleasantly surprised by the information. Tickets to go and watch Ulinzi play! Such opportunities rarely come on a silver platter. In fact, they never do come! "Ah... that is... amazing. I am truly amazed!" He said in obvious delight, "I don't think any football fan can turn down such a great offer."

Diana was pleased within, "If that is a yes, I will greatly be glad."

"Of course it is." Lei was happily smiling.

Diana on the other hand was palpably showing an exhibition of joy from where she was calling in her bedroom, "Thank you! I am most grateful, and hope you will knowledge me about football."

"I hope I will." Lei said, and it was at the very particular moment when his mind was awakened by a certain curiosity on the development between him and the lady. He was uncertain of the lady's intentions- the two intentions that were right before his eyes. He wasn't able to read which intention the lady truly meant. What is really her intention?

"Okay. Good night." Diana said, still pleasantly delightful.

"Good night." Lei said and hung up.

"Is that trouble I am smelling?" Michael said looking at the friend.

Lei audibly sighed, "It's hard to tell."

"It's hard to tell? A two-year-old can tell!" Michael's eyes were still at the friend.

"I agree with Mike." Tyson said, "This girl is showing off something openly!"

"I am surprised a person with an IQ of 185 can't see it!" Michael said, now looking at the television.

"Yes, Mike, a two-year-old can tell and see." Lei easily said, "This girl approaches me and asks for a hand in the discussions at Tuungane Center. She asked me about it but I turned her down, then a week later she calls me for another hand in giving her football knowledge. I can read on the inner intention she has with this."

"Giving her football knowledge?" Tyson looked at the friend uncomprehendingly.

"She has two tickets for the match between Gor and Ulinzi and wants me to go with her." Lei said then let out a sigh, "Suddenly it is all about tickets in my life!"

"Oh!" Tyson exclaimed, "Two tickets for the Gor and ULINZI match. How a coincidence that is, especially since you are an Ulinzi fan!"

"Ha!" Michael gesticulated in amusement, "Our dear boy can't see the girl is aiming at something here. But he has said he can read on the inner intention she meant. I can't wait to know what that is, or what it even means."

"Mike, I am disappointed that you still don't know how smart I am." Lei moved to the friends on the couch, "It can be obvious to anybody that she is up to something, but knowing what it is is the headache part of it." He sat on a one-seater couch next to the friends, "She and Katelyn work at the Centre as the main admins, and she is the most active admin there. The last time we were there my knowledge was admired by all... actually both of us, Ty." He looked at Tyson.

"Yeah, people can really admire how to open a rubber!" Michael stared hard at Tyson.

"Are we going there yet again and again and again?" Tyson was equally firm at the friend.

"On opening a rubber? I will go there for a thousand times if need be, you monkey!"

"As I was saying," Lei ignored the friends while raising his voice to get their attention, "People loved us, Ty, and they greatly enjoyed the discussion. On that note, you both know what happens to the youth centers that are admired by youths. We were admired and people want more of us. This will make her do anything to get my attention so that we can work with her. And there is now the uncertainty of her aim; whether she just wants a working partnership or something more than that."

His friends calmly listened, getting the sense from him. They could be jumping to conclusions when the lady possibly and only meant business.
