According to ancient myths in Latin America…there is a place where the souls of the dead travel as they find peace…it is not heaven like modern cultures have written…it is a land made of pure Gold…and this land is called Mictlan…the land of the dead…those who die travel to this place…and it is said that if you enter this place while you are alive…you will never return to the land of the living…
(BADUMP BADUMP BADUMP)
A maiden opens her eyes, she lies on her bed and looks at the ceiling. She stands up and walks towards her window. The giant window is illuminated as something bright shines in a dark sky.
A silver light falls from the sky and heads to a land filled with gold.
(BBBBOOOMMMM)
The maiden opens her window, the moon illuminates her face, half of her face is a skeleton with beautiful decorations, and a blue flame illuminates her eye. The other half is a smooth brown skin with a yellow eye. She has half of her hair white and half of her hair black.
The girl smiles as she thinks; “Now this is a surprise.”
“Mi Señora…hay algún problema?” (My lady, is something wrong) A man enters the room. His face is a complete skeleton with his eyes being blue flames.
“No hay ningún problema…de hecho…prepárate porque vamos a tener unos visitantes muy interesantes…” (There is no problem at all…in fact…I want to be prepare because we are about to have interesting visitor…)
The woman smiles at that man as she looks up to the sky.
At the site of the crater, Alejandro slowly opens his eyes and sees a dark sky filled with many stars.
“Where am I?” Alejandro lifts his body, he wonders the deserted area; “This is so weird…I remember that I was at the restaurant working and now this?”

(GGGRRRRR)
At that moment, Alejandro is surrounded by Sombras. There are Sombras from all shapes and sizes:
“What the…Sombras? Where am I?”
A figure walks next to the Sombras, he has a torn off cloak; “Oh…we have a visitor here? Who would’ve thought…and he is from the world of the living….fascinating…”
“Who are you? Where am I?”
“Hahaha…” The figure laughs and removes his cloak. Alejandro opens his eyes wider as he sees a skeleton with blue flames in his eyes:
“WELCOME TO MICTLAN…THE LAND OF THE DEAD!”

Heavy on action, survival, and adventure - An isekai. The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***

Meet Marcus Caelum, since young he wanted nothing else to play with mechs. He studied, worked hard and he finally did it, now he is a Mech Designer (provisional).He achieved his dream and now is the time for realization, he now will learn that not all is great, that there are things to learn and that if he wants to do the job well he better adapt. Cover taken from a Battletech manual. This is my "first" novel so do forgive the quality a bit.It is mostly a Slice of life following what I believe a Mech Designer life would be. It will have action, science, comedy, dark moments and some adventure. It will barely have any romance and little actual combat (he won't go off fighting enemies everywhere, the MC is not a fighter). It's medium sci-fi, most hard science with some mana altering normal materials.The pacing is a bit slow, it takes some time for the story to advance.The first arc is completed and the novel is until further notice on HIATUS.I may continue the Tales of the 47th Universe to try my hand at another style and pacing. More info in chapter 22.

One where Magic never passed the initial Druidic phase and died out. Instead, the people have taken to technology to improve their lives. They have progressed further than Thaum has ever seen. Traveling between worlds isn't a grand expedition with great magic, but as simple as boarding a ship and paying the boarding fee. Authors note - This story is intended to be a short novel. The MC is going to be OP as far as mages are concerned, but we will see what a sci-fi universe can throw at him. (suggestions welcome) p.s. he will try to make his impact overall a good one, but he is not a good person. He only chooses to do good. Unless it is too inconvenient. it also won't be particularly dark.
