"... To sum up..." Katelyn finalized the study, "The Greek hydraulic semaphore systems, which worked with water-filled vessels and visual signals, just like you said." She looked at Lei with a wide smile of amazement, "I can't believe our research work filled seven foolscaps!"

"All thanks to your brilliant research work." Lei smiled at her, fascinated by her own exquisite smile.

"Come on, Lei, the credit is open here." Katelyn said with tribute, "You knew all these in your head! I am even surprised at your knowledge and who you really are."

"If that is a compliment, then thank you, although I shouldn't earn the entire credit. Your quick research and general computing is amazing."

"I just did a fairly level computer work. You are exaggerating."

"I am exaggerating?" Lei looked at her complimentarily, "You have just shown a perfect example of a female hacker gang, especially one who works on banks and financial institutions. You can brilliantly work through other gangs with your skills."

Katelyn shook her head amusedly, "Lei, you are mad."

"I am not, because I was thinking... my friends and I can go rob a bank and you walk us through the plan with your computer skills."

Katelyn now amusedly laughed, "Just like I said, I think there is a nut missing in your head!" She started pilling together the project work on the table.

There was silence between them as Lei watched her pile the foolscaps.

"You know what I would really like, Lei?" Katelyn looked at him with a softened gaze, "Working together and be ahead of the class; you know, studying ahead of the class and lecturers. You have just shown me how well acquainted you are in the course."

"If it will make you happy," Lei looked at her fondly, "I am definitely in."

Katelyn's softened expression turned into a Cheshire cat smile, "Thank you. I am sure we will be great. Everybody will admire and envy us."

"I am sure they all will."

Katelyn nodded in a gaily manner and continued pinning the foolscaps together.

Lei turned to the laptop on the table, "What good stuff do you have in your system?"

Katelyn looked at him, "Go through and see it for yourself."

Lei reached the laptop and started going through it. Shortly afterward, he found something of interest in the documents folder, "Ah, the classic 90 Tank. No one could have guessed you are a fan of the game."

Katelyn showed an enthralled interest, "I am a diehard fan of it! I completely love it."

"So do I." Lei smiled at her, "You play alone?"

"I used to play with Sharon and my sister, but I realized they were bored of it. We couldn't even go past stage ten. So, I decided to play alone."

Lei maintained at her, "And alone, up to what stage can you be able to reach?"

"Up to stage twenty." Katelyn proudly said.

"Mmmh, only that?"

"Twenty is superb!"

"Okay, but let us see if we can be able to double that together."

Katelyn was brilliantly enthusiastic. She had never met a person who willingly accepted to play her favourite computer game. She suddenly had a fervent feeling that she would enjoy the game with the gentleman.

"You really want us to play?" She enthused with a mile-wide smile.

"My dear, if I didn't want to, I wouldn't have asked."

"Okay." Katelyn exultantly moved her study chair closer to Lei, "You want me to be player one or two?"

"You are sitting where the player two keys are, or unless you don't know how to use the second player keys is when you can come to this side_"

"No, no, no, it's fine." Katelyn ardently said, "I fully understand all the aspects of the game."

"That sums up pretty nice, then." Lei opened the game's document and started it, "This is how we will successfully go through..." He said before the game started, "I am the husband of the home and you the wife, meaning I will go after the bad guys and you will be moving around the house protecting it. You shouldn't mind how many bad guys I will kill compared to you."

"I fully understand, and wouldn't mind at all. You will be the man of the house. It will make perfect sense if you shoot more bad guys than I do." Katelyn was still openly delighted and eagerly waiting for the game to begin.

"How fantastic." Lei said as the game loaded, "I was afraid you would be like my sister. She always wants to go and shoot the bad guys with me, leaving the house behind unprotected."

Katelyn shortly laughed as the game finally began.

"Remember," Lei said, his fingers on the keyboard control keys, "Protect the house, sweetie."

Katelyn nodded admirably and affectionately. It was now clear to her why she felt incredible in Lei's company and now as they were about to enjoy one of her greatest past time moments. Her feelings at heart were now open. The initial thought of just being friends with the gentleman because of the sister occurred impossible to happen. I don’t think it will ever happen. What she felt for him had a fervor that surpassed the friendship level, because her heart had been strongly touched.
