《The Solitary Sword Sovereign》Will, What The Hell Did You Do?

While the observers were trying to get their heads around what was happening, Ezra looked back and said, "I say, Will, were you trying to kill me?"
Will looked offended and said, "How dare you insinuate such a thing about me!"
Ezra nodded and said, "Yeah, your right. If you knew I was there you would have put more juice into it."
Will laughed and placed his hand on Ezra's shoulder, "Ah you know me so well."
Ezra rolled his eyes and looked around, "Looks like we have some uninvited guests, and they smell like lizards, want me to get rid of them for you?"
A chilling light escaped Ezra's eyes as he looked up while killing intent billowed out of him like an erupting volcano. Will could not help but be impressed, not to mention he really enjoyed seeing the people from the Empire scared like that, but he had had enough fun today.
"Nah bro its cool, I actually invited them."
"What could you possibly be doing with people from the lizard village?"
Ezra did little to lower his voice. Considering that everyone here was of a relatively high level, they could all hear his words. So when he called the Dragonheart Empire 'the lizard village', everyone from the Empire could not help but feel uncomfortable. The deep disdain from his words could be felt from miles away. But no one did anything. Even if a Supreme was here, they would not take action, at least not alone.
Will put his arm around Ezra and said, "Don't worry, I will explain everything. I didn't expect to see you so soon. Come let's go sit down and catch up on the good old days. Oh and you guys!"
Will stared at the crew up high while pointing to the damage left by his true strike, "Clean up this mess. That's an order." As soon as he said that's an order Will let out a condescending laugh. Ezra's arrival had shocked everyone to the point that they forgot a crucial fact, Will had just single-handedly beaten them at the same level, with little to no effort from his side at all!

Will led Ezra to the main lobby of the hotel that he was using as his base. The Duo sat down face to face and stared at each other, each with a rather strange expression on their face and the reason for that was simple. This was the first time they had physically met yet none was like what the other had assumed them to be.
"Ok Will lets get down to business. Before we talk about anything else I need you to explain something to me. Five years ago why did you choose me out of everyone you knew."
"Its pretty simple really, you were recommended by someone I trust very well."
Ezra crossed his arms and said "That doesn't make sense because you only knew me online. The only reason we knew each other is that we were part of the same guild in an online game. None of us each other's true identities as far as I know."
Will raised an eyebrow and said "Actually I knew who you were most of the time. It goes like this. My sister was part of your dojo and she had many recordings of the fights you had with other people and the conversations you had with her because she idolized you. I had heard your voice many times online so it was one that I was familiar with. I took those recordings and other recordings I heard of your voice to my little brother. The little freak had voice recognition software which we used to indeed confirm you were the same person. So you can imagine my shock when I realized that my hunch was indeed correct. To think that one of the guys I play with online was a worldwide celebrity. To be honest I felt a bit proud at that moment."

Ezra leaned into his chair and put his hand on his chin "What's your sister's name and what's your name?"
"My name is Will Chamberlain and my sister's name is Jane," Will said these words in a very soft voice carried by a calm demeanor. His companion, on the other hand, had a reaction that was on the complete opposite end of the spectrum.
Thunderstruck, he opened his eyes widely then closed them and shook his head, as if he had just figured something out.
"Wait a moment, I know Jane she only has one younger brother and his name was Dillan if I am not mistaken. She never mentioned a brother named Will and I don't remember anyone mentioned anywhere else because your family is quite famous. I am pretty sure I would have remembered if-"
Ezra's air changed in realization then he looked at Will with a serious expression, "Will, what did you do?"
"Will shrugged and said, "I didn't do much really."
"Stop lying. Everyone from my side knows about Modus, and how he is backing you up. What did you have Modus do?"
Will looked a bit downcast and started to twiddle with his fingers. "Five years ago, it dawned on me that the path I was treading was dangerous so I asked Modus for a favor…"
Will sighed in resignation as he continued, "I asked him to delete all signs of my existence from the world. People's memories and data alike. So that when I did come back, no one would know me, including my family. The only people who would remember me would be a select few, you, of course, being one of them."
Ezra frowned and said, "My outlook on family isn't so bright. If you know my story then you should know that I hate mine. But going as far as to remove your own existence. You must really care for them."
"Haha well, they are my only family. Besides I didn't just do it for them, this also allowed me to move more freely. So don't worry about that."
"I see, well if your sister was, or rather is Jane, I can understand why she would advocate for me. But now that you have told me Jane is your sister there is something you need to know about them.
"Oh yeah, what's that?"
Ezra shook his head and said, "Andre Chamberlain is the current Prime Minister of the Dragonheart Empire, while Jane Chamberlain is the next Supreme, she is getting sworn in soon during the next Imperial ball."
