《The Solitary Sword Sovereign》Are You Tired Of Breathing?

Will was especially aware of how mentally draining her actions were. Which showed that she wasn't only strong, but was smart too. He didn't know if she had an ability to improve the brain like his dual mind propagation, but it didn't seem so at the moment. Her rank instantly went up in his head. Her worms were especially impressive. They were quite lifelike, thanks to their wood attribute and the massive amount of wood qi they had.
Will estimated that the worms had a similar amount of life energy to his dragons, but the energy was not as pure as his, which showed the difference in their foundation. Nevertheless, the worms were still a threat, because unlike Will's dragons, they had a nearly endless supply of energy.
'If I destroy them they will probably just regenerate.'
Healing was one of the main attributes of wood qi. Both wood and water qi had healing attributes but wood qi had the advantage in this aspect.
'I have to recruit this chick, she has potential.'
Woodsy's worms headed straight for Will who was still rolling on the floor in hysterics. The worms were each halted by a dragon and began a fierce battle. The dragons were unlike the worms, as they were independent of Will's body and were more autonomous.
As the creatures battled, Karim went into action. He shouted, "Giant's Ascendance!"
Karim's body became like that of a massive giant. His armor and his weapons expanded with his body. "Glory bow!" With a bellow, his armor became liquid-like and gathered into his arms, forming a body to suit his 20-meter tall body.
'Thankfully he had some clothes underneath.'
Nzou wiped his forehead in relief. He could not predict anything this idiot did. When Nzou's skill was ready, he hurled his large V-shaped shield. It landed in front of Will, digging into the earth. It was so vertical that it was perfectly perpendicular to the ground. Nzou then planted both his hands on the ground and shouted, "Gravity Dome!"

The moment he spoke, the shield exuded a dome of energy around Will, who felt his entire body become ten times heavier. It became impossible to roll around, resulting in Will becoming restrained by his own weight. He was so heavy that he started sinking into the ground.
'A gravity attack? Oh, cmon!'
Will had a strong will but he was not used to this sensation. Not only was it painful and tiring, it even made his thinking slightly sluggish. This was one of the side effects of Nzou's Gravity Dome. It was a restriction and a mental debuff at the same time, making one's mind slower in terms of cognitive reasoning. The effect, like with most skills, depended on the power gap between the user and the target.
As Nzou was preparing his skill, Merlin was preparing hers as well, her skill was rather simplistic in nature. The water above her vanished while her wand started turning into a large arrow of light. Although this was a simple skill, it did not have a set restriction on the amount of mana Merlin could input, so she could put virtually all her remaining mana into it. It did, however, require some time to prepare. Thanks to the buff by Woodsy and the actions of Taiga and Nzou, she was able to produce a powerful light arrow, one which radiated heat that made the area very uncomfortable.
Although water skills were her forte, she was after all a genius and had many tricks up her sleeve. She quickly loaded the arrow in Karim's bow, who pulled it until it was taut.
Francisco pulled his rapier and drew a circle in the air, creating a gel-like ball. Francisco then cut the sphere into two. Then he pointed his sword at Karim, or rather, the bow in his hand as said, "Momentum Arms!" He then pointed his sword at Gabby and shouted, "Speed Arms!"

The two gels covered their respective targets, covering them in a metallic-like sheen.
Just as the gel hit her, Gabby unleashed a skill of hers, which turned her into a humanoid cat-like creature. After the gel hit her, her speed went up by many folds, and she went straight for Will. Once she reached the currently immobile Will she scratched him once with four of her claws, drawing away quickly. In less than half a second, she was back to her position and human again.
Alexa smiled at Gabby's progress. She could assume the traits of any one of her tamed creatures, but this only lasted for a second or two. She used this chance to turn into one of her most toxic creatures. The Nether Poison Lynx.
Its claws were imbued with an odd poison, which made the target highly combustible within seconds. This only lasted for a few minutes, but during those minutes the poison would also spread all over the target's body and act as a tranquilizer. By getting the speed boost from Francisco, the energy boost from Woodsy and turning into the Lynx, Gabby was able to maximize her gifts in the best way possible for quick combat, which her class wasn't suited to.
The last one to act was Salty, she quickly conjured a black flame, which she controlled to cover the arrow of light on Karim's bow. These were Enchanting Element Flames, and they could enhance the elemental attributes of any object and ability. Conjuring this flame took half of her total mana while controlling it to enchant powerful magic like Merlin's Arrow of light took most of what was left.
This was a team effort, one in which the majority gambled on by using their most powerful yet energy-draining skills. Once this duel was over, the only people capable of fighting would only be Francisco and Woodsy.
Alexa doubted that Will could stop this attack, hence she spoke out, "According to the rules of the empire, as you voluntarily agreed to this unfavorable battle, you have the right to say a few last words, what say you?"
Alexa doubted that Will could speak right now because she was that confident of the restrictions placed upon him. Her initial plan was to take his silence as a plea for mercy and stop the fight, but her plan fell through. Will's somewhat raspy voice echoed out in her ears.
"You guys are actually trying to kill me…are you tired of breathing?"
