Every invited guest in Amond's private house was having a wild great time. The drinks, eateries, music and fun completed one of the best-organized parties he had ever had, and more so, the deafening-loud music made it an out-of-control youth party.

Amond decided to throw a party with his friends to celebrate his joining at Crownzone University, but he was the most unhappy and stressed person in the house. He walked to the living room balcony, carrying a glass and a bottle of whisky. Ian and Jim noticed his obvious distressed state and followed him.

"Brother." Ian looked at him worriedly at the balcony, the music sound in the living room now faint, "I am not seeing you flowing in the party. You look terrible!"

"Yeah, Amond, what's up?" Jim intoned, also worriedly.

Amond exhaled, filling his glass with the bottle of whisky, "I guess anybody can see it, huh?" He took a sip from the whisky, his eyes dreary and dull.

"Yes, Amond, we can all see it. What is troubling you?" Jim now looked concerned.

"The one person; LEI!" Amond called out the name in disgust and repugnance, feeling gripped by a spasm of hatred.

His friends exchanged surprised glances before coming back to him.

"Why should he depress you like this?" Jim sounded befuddled, "You are better and above him in everything! Way above him. You are more intelligent and have absolute power. Katelyn will recognize you. She must!"

"Yeah, brother." Ian as well chipped in with reassurances, "Remember Lemarh and her? You gave time and patience and the two went nowhere."

"Lemarh and her was different because Lemarh wasn't that interested in her. I was able to see it." Amond declared, then his tone fell with melancholy, "With Lei it is different! He likes her and she seems to like him, too. If you are not able to see it, I am." He gave himself another drink, "Remember earlier at the University Hall today? They were chatting together happily. I could strongly feel my frustration and jealousy!" He heaved a sigh, "Do you know what is even worse than my depression? It is the fear that the guy is winning her!"

"Then that can be easily solved if your fear is this much." Jim suggested with what seemed a conclusive thought, "Let us eliminate him!"

"I agree with Jim." Ian as well felt content with the suggestion, "If you fear Kate will fall for him, then let us eliminate him!"

"I wish it were that easy. I would have myself put a 9 mm bullet in his brains!" Amond took a long short from his glass of whisky.

"I don't see a hard way in taking him out, is there?" Ian couldn’t understand why the suggestion wasn’t easy to the friend, "We just give him a natural treatment."

Amond stared at the friend, "Ian, intelligent people don't go around killing people if they want to. Taking out somebody is usually the last option on the table. I thought you already learned that." He came to both of his friends, "That guy is a youth representative and the government likes him. He holds an exalted position in the society. If something happens to him, even if it is something that might have happened naturally, somebody will follow it up. No one has the power to cover up and silence the whole government, my father and the president included. They will follow it up until they are satisfied with their findings." He paused while giving himself a shot of whiskey, "I am intelligent enough not to bring my family and myself unnecessary embarrassments."

"Then we warn him and give him a threat." Another suggestion swiftly came into Jim's mind, "If we see him winning the girl, we scare him off and make him really scared."

"That is now a sense I would rather have.” Amond's lips showed a first smile in the night hour of the party, "I will want all ideas on how we can scare him off. That moron shouldn't even find a good night sleep!"
