《Between Reality: G.Y Aspect》17: The Two Sisters

"This is him." Diana, in her bedroom, showed her friend the Polaroid photograph she adored the most.
Susan took the new technology photograph that brilliantly showed in detail every feature in the picture and looked at it, "Wow! He is good-looking, and... completely handsome!" Her compliment was genuinely substantive.
"Check out his body feature and shape." Diana moved closer to the friend, "Is it not more than that of a regular guy!" She brightly smiled.
"Definitely! The muscles and everything is just... great! But his face, Dia, isn't it magical or something!" Susan seemed more enthralled and fascinated at the picture's physiognomy details than the physique.
"Certainly, Susan. Everything is just perfect in this guy! And the addition of his intelligence makes it a completely new type of miracle! He was created with absolutely everything!"
Susan looked up at the friend, "His name?"
"Lei Malib Noorhman," Diana said the name animatedly.
"Anything else you have learned about him?"
"He Learned at Starlight High School and topped his class with an A in KCSE. Meaning he will be joining Crownzone because all top three best at Starlight usually join the university."
"You look well informed. How about a girlfriend in his life? Does he have one?"
Diana slowly turned and took short paces towards her bedroom window, her arms crossed over the chest, "I don't know about that. Finding close details about his personal life turned out... difficult." She looked outside the window where curtains of opaque rain fell in the black inky night, "But I am not worried about that. I have what it takes to win him." She turned to the friend, her gaze assured "Absolutely everything!"
Susan followed her with a smile, "Hmm, so, you won't mind if he has a girlfriend?"
"Not that I won't mind. But let's face the reality here, Susan. No one that has the means, power and will, can let such a chance sweep away." Diana's tone was clear and decisive, "I am completely into this guy, and you have to use advantage if something you desire and wish comes your way. That has been the rule all along; survival for the fittest."

Susan looked pleased with the friend's thought. Diana had been her role model ever since they became friends. She always admired Diana's sense of reasoning and perception; because she did everything her way and successfully accomplished it with the required satisfaction. Repercussions and consequences never happened in her life, and that was what made Susan respect and admire her. She believed that Diana's level of intelligence and brilliance contributed at maximum on her remarkable and outstanding ideas. Anything she did or planned ended up successfully the best.
"So, what next?" She inquired.
A smile came on Diana's lips, "My plan is already underway. He will appreciate my love and care, which will lead him to like and finally love me. I will not worry about how long it will take. I happen to know the reward of patience." Her smile animated her, "All good comes to those who wait."
Susan as well smiled looking at her. The guy has to fall in love with her, whether he has a special person at heart in his life or not, because Diana always succeeded in whatever she put her mind to.
Katelyn stood on her bedroom balcony staring at the heavy pounding rain in the dark night. She mused while in grave thought. From time to time, a chill and fitful wind blew across the balcony, but she didn't feel its effect. Her nerves seemed numb with what was deeply and oppressively weighing on her mind. The thought in the mind throbbed with a true and hurting reality she had heard from her sister. How can it be!
She slowly touched her favorite golden pendant on her neck, her lips slightly parted on the thought in mind. How fate crossed with a conundrum sense of phraseological quagmire between her and the sister was still a wonder and surprise. The one man she had come to like, and without doubt love, was the same man her sister was deeply into with especial admiration and like. She was the first person her sister came to with the news about the man. She might have been the only person her sister had confided in on the matter. She saw how the sister described the man with adoration and admiration. She saw how great and determined the sister was in getting help to win the man's approval. And she knew what she had told the sister at the end. This was the first time a dilemma welled in her heart with hysterical agitation.

Shortly, Sharon showed up at the double glass doors that led to the balcony and saw her best friend. She could not remember the last time seeing her like this, "I can see you are disturbed." She walked over to her, "I never knew Lei would go this far in taking control of your feelings and thoughts."
Katelyn turned to the friend, her expression haunted and brow knit and gloomy, "Tell me how to get him off my head then!"
"Ha, ha," Sharon laughed unnaturally, "Get him off your head? Of all the guys? That happens to be a really smart idea, especially from a person who has successfully written an incredible romantic novel!"
"Yes, the guy is different, amazing, charming and the way he talks, smiles and just... the entire him! I can even feel that he is more than Lemarh_"
"Then stop the attitude!" Sharon said with a friendly sharp tone, "I have seen you two and you perfectly match. If this is about waiting for Lemarh then it is the highest time you should stop the nonsense!"
"Lei is the same guy Diana told me about!" Katelyn's words came out simple and grim, shocking the friend.
"You mean the guy she is interested in!"
Katelyn only nodded, her expression dull and manner spiritless.
After a moment of thought, Sharon moved closer to the friend, "Okay! But it still doesn't matter. I am sure Lei is into you and not her_"
"Sharon! She saw him first and told me about him!"
"But you can't change what you feel for him! No matter what you do or imagine you will never get him off your mind. Tell me he doesn't make you feel special?"
"I can't deny that, Sharon." Katelyn's dull eyes started to glow, "He makes me feel this... pleasure that is so amazing! He makes me complete." The eyes once again drifted to dullness, "But Diana, for God's sake, the reasoning here is much more important. She was there first and likes him. I even lied to her that I don't like him. How can my involvement ever work?"
"The same way it is working right now. Lei has met, talked to you and enjoyed your company. He even had a way of finding your number! That is an indication that he is into you and not anyhow into Diana."
Katelyn sighed, then sadly shook her head, "I don't know why this had to be! Every time Diana talks about him, is like Lei is the best thing that has ever happen in her life, and who can blame her? Lei is unbelievable! Any woman will feel the same way. I feel the same way." She drew out another sigh, "Diana is so into him and_"
"And only if he is also into her is when things have the right to be in your views. If he is also into her then I promise I will help you clear him off your mind." Sharon moved and held the friend's hands, "Running away from these feelings is impossible, Kate. I am sure you know that. You are into this guy and he is into you. The one and only thing to do is facing your feelings. You can't run away from them."
Katelyn stared and wondered whether her friend was right. Facing her feelings meant coming open to Lei and the world around her and tell how she truly felt. But the formidable and puissant barrier blocking the way seemed impossible to go through. She had never imagined hurting her sister's feelings in any way. Coming open with what she felt would result in a deep hatred that could last as long as Diana looked at her, and even more when they were together with Lei.
This greatly and further increased the heart-wrenching dilemma agitating her.
