《Between Reality: G.Y Aspect》06: I Am Not Actually A Vegetarian

With only two items left to buy, Lei advanced with his shopping basket to the fruits and vegetable section of the supermarket. His favorite shopping store had hundreds of thousands of things to be admired. If he only had money, he could have bought everything he had ever admired in it.
As he continued walking, he suddenly stopped, for a moment thinking his eyes were playing games with him. But he double-checked and confirmed his eyes were not wrong. How easy! He thanked his lucky stars and resumed walking, now to where his eyes were.
Katelyn slowly selected another fruit on the shelf and put it in her shopping trolley. She always liked to come to the family business mall on the weekends to have fun, relax and do a bit of shopping of her liking. This time around she was shopping for fruits, and she continued selecting one after another.
Suddenly, a familiar disembodied voice attracted her attention. The voice immediately made her heart pound anxiously and nervously.
"Did you know avocado is more healthier than apple?" The voice spoke in a sonorous baritone.
Katelyn turned to see the person behind the voice. She had guessed and hoped right. He was clad in an aquamarine short-sleeved shirt and black jeans. On the leggings were brown timberland. For the second time in her meeting with the gentleman, she couldn't deny and fail to appreciate his handsomely and good-looking nature.
"I happen to know that." She smiled at the gentleman.
"That's nice." Lei smiled back, looking at both Katelyn's hands that carried avocado and an apple, "But am not actually a vegetarian. Not a fan."
"Hmm, then you don't know our far most secret." Katelyn looked at him sweetly and vivaciously, "If you would like to know, I will tell you."

Lei was bedazzled by her vivacious beauty. How did such beauty come to exist! "Katelyn." He expressed in a congenial bonhomie countenance, "Whatever the secret you vegetarians have_"
"You understood me wrong." Katelyn put the fruits in her hands on the shopping trolley, "I don't mean us, vegetarians, but we, women."
Lei's expression was interested as he looked at her, "Uh, a secret that women have, that concerns vegetables, that men happen not to know about? This should be interesting."
"Yeah, it is. I will tell you, and by that, I will be breaking a rule. So, promise me not to tell any other man." Katelyn intentionally wore a most beautiful smile.
Lei crossed his fingers while staring at the beauty on her face, "I won't tell a soul and will go with it in my grave."
Katelyn was brightly into the moment. The gentleman was truly impossible to resist. These are the types women go crazy about. She began her tale, studying his expression, "There comes a time when a married woman will realize the importance of fruits and vegetables in her family- every woman. So, the woman you will marry will silently take you to vegetables without your knowledge, so long as she loves you and wants her family healthy."
Lei stayed silent for several seconds while closely squinting at the young lady. Her words by content sounded true and logical. He thought it was an open secret that men terribly didn't know about, "Really nice to know that." He finally said while nodding, "So, I will be dragged out of my hotdogs, sausages, kebabs and hamburgers, just like that?"
"Just like that." Katelyn amusedly smiled.
"Then I would rather die single! Let the devil himself drag me out of my goodies than a woman."

Katelyn shortly laughed, then put her hands on the trolley's handle. After a moment of thought, she believed it would be great to leave first with suspense. That will make him eager to meet and see me again.
"I will be going now." She slowly started pushing the trolley, "My friend is probably waiting. Nice meeting you, again."
Typical of a hard-to-get type! Lei was now certain that Katelyn was different from all the women he had ever met. With his virile character and handsome nature, it was usually the women who showed more interest in him. But Katelyn was different, and he was touched by frank admiration in the quality. It made the feelings he had for her grow and develop strongly, even though it looked clear to him that he had a long way to go if he was to win her.
"Kate." He called as the lady slowly walked away. When she stopped and turned, he continued, "Will it be okay if I have your number?"
Once again, Katelyn wore her most beautiful smile that made her gleam exquisitely. The intention was obvious, to any woman whose heart had been touched, "I don't give my numbers to strangers." She said, her mellifluous tone honeyed, "But I wouldn't mind seeing how a hustler of a man you can be."
Damn! "Promise you won't get mad if I get it?" Lei smiled.
"Lei, I will be startled than mad." Katelyn said, then turned and slowly resumed walking before Lei could say another word, and he didn't.
