This is where everything you need to know to become a judge lives. For this contest to run, we need people willing to judge each genre.

🔥After Each Book is Read, the Judge will Grade the Book based on the Criteria Below

-How Eye Catching is the Cover? Does it fit the overall theme of the book?

🔥Title Selection: {/5}

Is it unique? Is it easy to remember? Does it give away too much of the book?

🔥Blurb: {/10}

-Does the blurb give too much of the plot away? Does it say too little? Does the content of the book match the blurb?

🔥Grammar and Punctuation: {/10}

-Self Explanatory

🔥Dialogue: {/10}

Does dialogue flow in story naturally? Does it follow proper grammar (i.e. each new person talking starts on their own line)?

🔥Text Harmony: {/10}

How well does the words of the story flow together? Does it flow seamlessly or is it hard to connect?

🔥Plot Development: {/10}

-Does the pacing of the story fit with the theme and overall feel of the story? Does the story go too fast or too slow?

🔥Character Development: {/10}

-Do the characters change drastically throughout the chapters? Do they stick to their personalities? Do they have a reason to change?

-How much did you enjoy the book overall?

-The first chapter determines if people are going to read anymore of the book. Does the first chapter catch the audience's attention?

🔥DO NOT GHOST, if you have to stop judging for any reason, please update us. Situations arise where they take priority and that's completely okay, just let us know that you're not able to judge anymore. You don't even have to tell us what happened.

🔥You must have discord. It's much easier to communicate there, and it builds community.

🔥You need to read a MINIMUM of 5 chapters of every book.

🔥You have to follow the judging rubric above. Also, you need to give a short review of every book you judge.

🔥You can be a judge for a max of two genres.

🔥You can enter your own books into the contest, just not in the genre/categories that you're judging.
