《The Reject (COMPLETED)》Chapter 15: The Night Is Still Young.

Willow couldn't bare to stay there in the bathroom. She was angry and hurt and scared, it was like the day when he had labeled her as a 'Reject', all over. She felt like the whole house was cramming her in.
She had to get out.
While climbing down the stairs she also came across the same guy who had stopped her, he too noticed her. He scoffed at her before continuing his talk with the girl in front of him about some kid at school, hopefully not her.
Willow wanted to roll her eyes, but couldn't bring up the energy to do it or care.
Now that Willow thought about it, Hunter must be the reason why Rowan was avoiding her. He might have befriended Rowan, and told him to keep away from her. That made perfect sense to her, and also made her extremely mad and sad at the same time. She had too much expectation on Rowan. But the outcome, it hurt her badly.
Willow sniffed, her tears pooling in her eyes again, so she rushed to go outside away from the drunk, dancing people.
Once out, her face was hit with a cool breeze of the emerging autumn air. She sighed, but before she could let her breath go, she stiffened.
The backyard was mostly empty save for Carrie Bermann seated on the outdoor table, crying.
Willow slowly turned around and headed back in. The moment she stepped in, she felt guilty. Maybe she should ask her if she was alright, but then again, she was crying and that meant she was not.
She shouldn't be nosy.
But she didn't want to leave her there alone either, it's not like they were friends, but they weren't enemies either. In fact, Carrie was Melody's maternal cousin.
Willow had also read lots news about people in hysterics one day and suicide the other. Willow shuddered at the thought of Carrie doing it.
Willow crying was another thing, she felt like it became a habit, crying in her room at how pathetic her life was turning to be.
Turning back around, Willow stepped outside and headed over to the crying Carrie. Willow saw that Carrie was holding onto a big bottle of, probably some alcohol. Willow didn't drink. The only times she gets to drink alcohol is during gatherings or Christmas, that too, only wine.

"Hey," Willow began awkwardly. "Are you okay?" she asked the obvious.
Carrie looked up at her with bloodshot eyes and sniffed. "No."
"Right."
"Are you okay?"
No. "Yes."
"You're lying. Just because I'm drinking this," Carrie pointed at her big bottle. "Doesn't mean that I'm drunk."
"Of course you're not." Said Willow. "Since you're fine, I'll be heading in."
"I'm fine." Said Carrie as she started crying, loudly. "He promised!"
"Oh what is it? I'm all ears." Said Willow forcefully, seeing how Carrie wanted to talk about her problem which Willow didn't want to hear.
It wasn't like Willow is a pushover...okay she is.
Willow sat her butt on the seat opposite Carrie's.
"I told him that we should break up, a year ago, but he insisted and said that he couldn't live without me." Sobbed Carrie. "He said that he was sure that we were mates. But now he met his mate and ditched me. I don't even see him anymore. I loved him so much, but he-" Hiccuped Carrie. "He just left me all alone. You should also have some." Carrie passed the bottle of wine over to Willow. "How am I supposed to live without him now?"
Willow nodded throughout the story. She had the idea who Carrie was talking about, but the fact that they broke up was new to her. She was shocked, because if any couple that could stay one from school to the old days, then that must have been Carrie and her boyfriend Greg Doug.
Why?
Because they are that one couple who were best friends since their diaper days to the middle school, when they started dating. And they were perhaps the cutest couple in the school, they got along well and everyone could see that.
Unlike most couples, they didn't have heavy make out session in the hallway, which makes every passerby cringe heavily.
"Do you like bread?" Asked Willow in an attempt to change the topic so that Carrie could have a mind diversion from the sad topic. She took a mouthful of the bottle passed to her and regretted it the very moment, because it burned down her throat and made her few very uncomfortable.

"I do," Said Carrie. "what about you?"
"I like bread. Especially white bread. But I don't like wholewheat ones, very grainy." Willow felt her mouth dry up, to help it, she took another swig from the bottle. This time she took it slowly and in less quantity.
"Duh! But I rather like wholewheat bread?"
"Why?"
"Because it's grainy." Said Carrie. "I like the word grainy."
"I hate the word moist."
"Why?"
"Because it's," paused Willow to take another swig and also because she didn't know how to explain. "It's just moist."
"Moist."
"Stop."
"Moist."
"Stop!"
"Moist!" Yelled Carrie.
"I'm out of here."
Carrie guffawed as she pulled the bottle back, or tried to. Willow took another swig before handing the bottle back to Carrie.
"Ah I love you so much." Carrie said to the bottle in her hand. "And I hate you Greg."
"Bye bye. Ciao. Adios. And whatnot." Willow said as she left to go back in.
Willow felt a growing headache. She didn't know why she had that unknown alcohol, but before she could think more about it, her eyes landed on Rowan who was still with Lana, but they were now in the kitchen.
Rowan who was about to drink from his cup stopped short when he too noticed her, he looked as if he was just caught cheating on her. And that is how Willow felt too.
Rowan then looked away, as if she wasn't even present in the same room, further fueling her emotions.
Lana wasn't aware of Willow in the kitchen as she she continued talking. And seeing Rowan's attention on her made Willow infinitely sad and angry. Very very angry that she felt hungry. Hungry for blood and for Lana to 'GTFO'. Even though this was her house.
So she should kidnap Rowan.
Yes! That was the best option.
Willow headed out but bumped into someone very familiar.
Michael Watts, Melody's elder brother, was standing right in front of her. He was three years older to them and was very fond of Melody and Willow. He was like an older brother, one she hadn't seen for a long time.
He looked shocked. Just as she did.
"And here I thought that you were dead." Said Willow.
"Are you drunk?" Asked Michael.
"No." Said Willow, she snapped her mouth tightly to avoid laughing because she had just lied.
"You are. You shouldn't be here. Where's Mel?"
"With JR."
"Have you seen Alpha?"
"Alpha?" squeaked Willow. "You mean Hunter?"
"Yeah."
"I haven't." Willow felt her eyes tearing up. "I haven't seen him and I don't want to see him ever again."
"Did he do something to you?" Michael looked panicked as he asked her.
"No. No he didn't." But her emotions came flooding and that she started to bawl her eyes out. Why was her life so sad and pathetic? Shouldn't life be the best during teenage? Why why why?
"Hey stop crying! Don't, please. Mel will kill me. Please have some mercy."
Willow ignored him.
"You shouldn't be here in the first place." Muttered Michael. "Listen to me Willow, find Melody, and get out of here. As quick as possible. Are you listening to me."
"No I'm not. I don't want listen to you, you're boring."
"What's going on?" Came the voice of her crush from behind her. The one who hurt her way more than Hunter did, way more than Hunter ever could.
Willow snapped her head back to glare at him, her eyes bloodshot, with tears streaming down her face, though her gaze softened when it landed on him, she felt all warm looking at him standing behind her, but she was still angry at him for ignoring her the past week and for being touchy with Lana and hearing her babble about everything and nothing.
Willow pointed her finger at Rowan. "You're a scumbag."

All in our heads
"When you figure out what you want, then come talk to me. Until then...get out of my face. I will speak to you in the morning." She said angrily and slammed her bedroom door in my face. I threw my body onto the hallway floor as tears streamed down my face. Screaming and crying as I pound on the door. "Johanna I'm sorry! Please I'm so sorry please don't go!" I slammed the door in Katie's face and sat on the floor as I listened to her scream and cry. Tears ran down my face and I banged my head against the door as I listened to my baby scream for me.
