《Theirs》Chapter 52

...
"Well?" I asked impatiently.
Evanora sighed and let go of Katherine's hand.
"Well, I can for sure say she's connected to your sister." She answered, confirming my suspicions.
I took in a shaky breath.
Alina...
"But I'll have to go back to the cavern to grab a few things so I can comprehend all of this thoroughly." She said, letting go of Katherine's hand and standing up. "See ya in a bit." She added and wanished in thin air.
I swatted the smoke away and looked at Katherine.
How and why are you connected to her...
...
I groaned and turned to the side.
Damn headache.
I laid on my stomach and buried my face in my pillow.
"Finally." Said an unfamiliar female voice.
I forced my eyes to open and looked at the source of the voice. And sure enough, a young woman was sitting on a chair next to me.
"Hi." She greeted with a big smile.
I just continued to stare at her as I slowly sat up.
"Who are you?" I asked in confusion, sleep still present in my voice.
"I can see why she's connected to Alina. No manners at all." The woman grumbled as she turned around to glare at someone.
I follow her gaze and saw Niran leaning on the wall across from me, his arms crossed and his face emotionless. I quickly straightened up and glared at him.
"You have guts for glaring at a dragon." The woman said in amusement.
"She probably knows I can't do anything to her because she's pregnant." Niran grumbled in annoyance.
My glaring turned into confusion.
"Oh yeah. You dragons do have that weird rule." The woman said in acknowledgement.
"It's not weird." Niran growled angrily. "Our females are protected by it. No dragon can ignore it because we'd get a severe punishment if we so much as put a scratch on them." He added sharply.

"Yeah, yeah." The woman dismissed him with her hand and turned around to look at me. "You sneaky little. Using your babies as protection." She added with a playful smirk.
"What are you talking about?" I asked through gritted teeth.
All this nonsense is just making me more and more angry.
"Don't try to deny it. I can feel it even from here." She said with a grin. "And I can tell they're gonna be a handful." She added with a chuckle.
"They?" I said in confusion.
What is she talking about?
The woman looked at me for a few seconds then turned her gaze to Niran.
"I think she really doesn't know." She said with a more serious tone.
Niran moved his eyes on me and it looked like he was studying my face.
"I don't know what?" I asked impatiently.
The woman looked at me again and sighed.
"You're pregnant." She repeated her words from earlier, making my eyes widen. "With twins." She added now making my jaw drop.
"What?!" I yelled in astonishment.
No way.
...
'We're almost halfway there.' Blaze informed.
'Perfect.' Tharion answered.
'So we'll be there in the afternoon.' Draco pointed out.
Blaze nodded his head as they continued to fly into the darkness.
'I just hope Katie isn't hurt. We're too far away from her to feel anything and it's driving me crazy.' Draco grumbled angrily, which made Tharion growl lowly.
'She'll be perfectly fine. You know she won't just sit there and take it.' Blaze said making both twins feel relieved just a bit.
I hope you're right brother.
...
"I don't believe you." I said shakily.
How can I be pregnant? I don't even feel anything.
"Well it's the truth. If you don't believe us, wait a few weeks and you'll have proof right under your boobs." The woman, who I found out is named Evanora, said nonchalantly as she flipped pages of some book.

There's no way.
I could feel eyes on me, so I looked towards the only other person in this room. Niran was still leaning on the wall across from me with his arms crossed. He didn't utter a word and was just staring at me the whole time, his face emotionless.
What's his problem?
"Found it!" Evanora exclaimed excitedly making me flinch in surprise.
Niran moved behind her and looked at the book she was holding. I was watching their every move. I don't know what they plan to do with me, but I'm not going down without a fight.
"That's it?" Niran said in confusion, finally opening his mouth.
"Uhh... I think so." Evanora said with uncertainty, as she flipped a few pages. "Looks like it." She added as she came back to the previous page.
They were talking about something, which I have no doubt was related to me, and I was quickly getting annoyed because they acted as if I wasn't in front of them.
"You have it?" Niran asked.
"Where the fuck do you think I could fit a whole ass piece of a dragon claw? You think you're lizards or something?" Evanora said in annoyance. "This bag ain't magical." She added as she patted a bag next to her.
"Stupid witch. All that magic and you don't know how to use it." Niran retorted in annoyance.
"Hey! You thi-"
"Here." Niran interrupted her and shifted his hand into a human sized dragon claw. "This should be enough right? You don't need the whole thing." He added.
Evanora mumbled something to herself, a scowl very visible on her face. Then she took a weird looking tool out of her bag and clipped one of Niran's claw nails.
What the hell are they doing?
She put the nail in a cauldron in front of her. Then she added some weird liquids and started a fire underneath the cauldron.
"Oh God-" I mumbled in disgust when a nauseating stench left the cauldron.
I quickly got up and ran to the bathroom to empty my stomach.
What the fuck is she making?
But the unbearable stench drifted all the way to the bathroom and my idiot ass forgot to close the door.
"Oh no." I said and moved over the toilet again.
At this point nothing was coming out and I was just dry-heaving.
"Do something about this stench! It reeks!" I heard Niran yell.
And after a few moments, the horrible stench was finally gone. I stopped dry-heaving soon after. I leaned myself on the wall next to the toilet, feeling exhausted like never before. I heard steps approach me but I was too out of it to focus on them. I heard voices following those steps and just when I was about to look up, everything turned black.
