Iyuna's eyes mirror the blood and lifeless corpses around her. The air smells putrid of blood and feces, similar to the scent of rotting eggs and garlic.
Her eyes start to water as she starts to crawl away.
"I-Is this how it feels…."
Her palm feels soggy as she looks to her left. A pool of blood intercepts her hand as she gazes into the eyes of a man with vomit and innards extruding from his mouth.
Iyuna heaves to the floor and vomits as her saliva and puke mix in with the dead man's vital fluids.
"D-daddy!" She beckons to the man watching in horror as all of his men are slain with such vicious intent.
The King looks towards his daughter and backs away.
"You… You brought them here!"
"No, daddy, it wasn't my fault!"
The man backs away from his child and runs towards a large set of armored doors.
"DADDY!" She screams while sobbing onto the ground.
—CLANK CLANK
The two doors crash into one another as a locking mechanism is heard from the inside.
—CRACK
Mika crushes the neck of a paladin and drops him to the ground while groaning.
"He got away!"
Juo looks towards the large metal doors as another knight rushes towards him.
"DIE YOU SCU—"
His attacker drops his sword as a portion of his head slides off at an angle onto the floor. His mangled head spurts blood as his halved brain and eyes roll onto the ground.
Juo flicks his blade onto the ground as blood splatters across the granite surface.
Calina walks towards the brass doors and knocks.
"Er… You in there?"
"JUST TAKE WHAT YOU WANT! DON'T KILL ME!" The King yells in anguish from behind the door.
Mika walks over to Iyuna and grabs her by the hair.

"Hey… He forgot his kid…."
Iyuna's eyes looked fogged as drool comes from the edge of her mouth. Her eyes look down towards the floor in a delirious state.
"Shit… She looks dead." Juo walks over to her and bends down.
"We aren't going to kill you… If we wanted to, then we would've been done it by now." Calina calls out to the man.
She knocks onto the door once more and sighs.
"Hey, you three!" Mika stands looking atop of the staircase at the three cloaked men.
They shiver, still holding their weapons aimed at their attackers.
"The hell is that? A panic room?"
One of the men nods while backing away slowly. They all follow his lead and run towards the castle's halls, dropping their crossbows behind them.
"Captain, do you want them disposed of?"
Calina looks towards him and shakes her head. "No, let them go. I think we've made the message clear that we mean business."
She looks forward to the brass door and reels her hand in.
—BOOM
"W-what the!" The King jumps as a large bulge forms on his side of the door.
—BOOM
Another bulge forms but this time on the left.
—BOOM BOOM BOOM
Three bulges form as the metal doors start to bend open from the outside.
"THE HELL ARE YOU PEOPLE!" The man yells as the doors burst open.
—CLANK CLANK
The two metal doors, busted and bruised, lay on the ground in front of the sobbing man.
Calina walks into the concrete painted room along with Juo and Maki, holding his daughter.
"We just want to talk, your grace." Calina smiles while walking towards him.
"STAY BACK, YOU BITCH!" He grabs a dagger and drives it into Calina's cheek.

Blood starts to pour down the knight's face as she grabs the man's hand and crushes his fingers backward.
"GAAAH!" The King falls to the floor, holding onto his broken purplish fingers distorted in different directions.
Calina grabs the dagger and pulls it from her face. The gash, showing the inside of her mouth's teeth and tongue, starts to mend itself back together.
"Dam… Regeneration is so fucking cool. I wish I was Level-3, so I could get it…" Mika puts her hands on her head while kicking at the ground.
Calina drops the weapon onto the floor and grabs the King by his collar.
"Simple question: You recently acquired a scroll with some special properties… Where is it?"
The King looks to the side as if he was going through his options.
Calina grabs the King's other hand within her's.
— CRACK CRACK CRACK
"GAAAAAH!" He squirms in her grasp as his hands break between her palm.
"I could keep going… But I really don't want to… Just tell us what we need to know, and we'll be on our way."
The King stops kicking and looks towards her with snot and tears running down his face.
"F-fine!"
He stands up and exits the panic room walking towards the upstairs.
Calina, Juo, and Mika follow after him while the brown-haired knight carries Iyuna on her shoulder.
They end up walking down a long hallway and stopping in front of a large set of green doors.
"C-could you get those for me.." The King holds up his mangled hands while shuttering.
Mika groans while walking towards the doors and kicking them open.
The room has no windows, and the concrete walls are plastered with different symbols and strange writing.
In the middle of the room lays a rectangular stand of granite housing a small piece of paper. The smell of blood fills the room's air, with chained skeletons situated on the surrounding walls.
"The hell happened here?" Juo asks while bending down towards one of the skeletal prisoners.
"Well… These scrolls hold latent power that can only be acquired by those bearing crazed mental states… So…"
"You were torturing these guys and hoping they'd be agonized enough to unlock the scroll." Calina finishes while walking toward the stand.
Calina reached for the scroll, but her fingers started to develop frost. She flexed her hand, and they shattered in an instant.
"It took several of my men to bring it here… All died from frostbite and being shattered into ice."
Calina takes a look at her cracked hand as her fingers start to mold back.
"How in the hell are we going to get that back to Phoenia?" Juo walked forward beside Calina.
The silver-haired knight looked behind her and glanced at Mika.
"Bring that girl forward."

Library of Knowledge - A tale across worlds
This is a story of power and knowledge. El is a mysterious being living in the Library of Knowledge whose only purpose in life is to learn. Connected to many worlds she appears to help all she deems deserving in exchange for knowledge.Stories and knowledge of the past and future from many worlds, the library has it all. The doors to this library are hard to find, but reality is stranger than fiction.-*-*-*-*-Author: It's hard to categorize such novels properly, so I recommend my novel to those who like stories with many elements woven together to form an engaging world where things happen not because the author wills it, but because the story wills it from the author. Even though I have quite a few chapters written already, if they aren't well received I will stop posting them. The content of the story may be mentally traumatizing for some, please read at your own risk.
