《Defeat the Overlord》Round Table

Ethan's lips curled into a smile as he looked around the crowded street. Many of them were the Players, and their eyes were filled with shock and disbelief.
He could even pick up on some murmurs.
"What the fuck!"
"I couldn't believe they'd come up with something like this. It's exactly like being in the real world. Please pinch me"
Many people were taken aback by what had happened. This was an entirely new world for them. Nobody thought something like this was even possible. Although there were many VR games on the market. This game was completely out of this world.
But how could they understand that this game is far from what they have imagined?
Ethan studied their expressions for a moment before shifting his gaze to the crowds gathered near the shops and stalls.
A sigh escaped his lips, but suddenly, his brows furrowed.
He was so caught up in nostalgia and happiness that he didn't notice the state of his body.
Weak... He was too weak.
In the past, he was powerful enough to fight against the powerful beings in this world.
But the current him was not him of the past.
He is currently at the base of the Pyramid, and it will take some time for him to crawl back to the top.
While many thoughts raced through his mind, he was startled awake by the same ethereal voice of the female.
[Welcome to the World of Ebeisia. Currently, you are in Village#2212.]
[Complete the missions to level up. Beginner Mode will end once you reach level 10]
[More information about the game is available on the Arcanum Solutions website's game forum.]
[You can access the Game Forum from your status window]
Ethan immediately called out status in his mind, and a translucent blue screen appeared in front of him.

[Name: Slade

His gaze shifted to the bottom right corner of the screen, where he noticed a tab labeled "Game Forum." But the status window vanished as he sought more important information from the locals.
His gaze darted around as he observed many players interacting with the villagers, but his attention was drawn to one beggar sitting on the corner of a street. His clothes were tattered, and his disheveled, dusty hair hid his face.
Ethan's pupil constricted for a moment before he approached the beggar.
..........
Somewhere In Ebeisia.
Seven people were seated around a round table.
A burly man in gleaming golden armor, with a thick brown beard covering his face and long hair drooping down to his shoulders. On his back was a thick, large broadsword.
His eyes narrowed as he looked around to see the remaining six people at the table, and he swigged a large chug of ale directly from the bronze-colored bottle and slammed it on the table.
"AAAHH" A satisfied, small smile appeared on his face as he closed his eyes and slammed the bronze bottle on the table again, making the other six people present there frown at him.
"Why are you making a ruckus here?" One woman wondered aloud. She was dressed in an embroidered white gown. Her silver hair fell to her waist, and a crystal-studded tiara sat on her head. Her pointed ears twitched as she frowned at the burly man.
The burly man opened one of his eyes to look at the woman, then closed it again.
Black lines appeared on the face of the beautiful woman.
"Ranulf Destigan,"

She abruptly stood up and grabbed her wooden staff, which was encrusted with a green gem.
Suddenly, green, thorny vines sprouted from the ground and crawled toward Ranulf.
Ranulf scoffed as he drew his broadsword from his back, which had suddenly become engulfed in flames.
"ENOUGH"
Both the woman and Ranulf came to a halt. The vines that had sprouted from the ground retracted, as did the flames on the Ranulf Broadsword, and they both turned to face the source of the voice.
However, one could see a look of respect on their faces. Meanwhile, the others seated around the table stood up and looked in the direction of the voice.
An old man in a white robe appeared from the darkness. His face was wrinkled, but one could sense a majestic aura surrounding him.
TAP TAP.
He walked slowly with the help of his walking stick, his blue eyes scanning everyone in the room. He sighed as he shook his head and slowly tucked the white hair that was falling in front of his eyes.
"For the Almighty's sake, could you please get rid of your childish behaviors? Hell, you seven are the Holy sons and daughters of the Seven Temples. How could you behave like this?" the old man's loud voice echoed in the room.
The seven people who stood around the table looked down. Especially the woman and Ranulf. They carefully kept their staff and the broadsword on the table.
Despite the fact that they were the Holy Sons and Daughters of the Temple. They were insignificant in comparison to this old man.
The old man sighed and tapped the ground with his walking stick, and a chair appeared out of thin air, and he sat down.
Seeing the old man didn't say anything and sat down. The seven people exchanged glances, sat in their chairs, and gazed at the old man.
The old man's face turned serious and his loud reverberated throughout the room.
"The Otherworlders have arrived. I have no idea what the Goddess discovered in the future. But among them would be someone who holds the key to defeating the Overlord. You must plan and do everything possible and carefully select and nurture potential warriors."
The old man's lips pursed, and he tapped the walking stick on the ground.
"The Dark Spawns have again destroyed one village at that place."

Lone: The Wanderer [Rewrite]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer? [Goal of 1 chapter per week, the only exceptions being announced breaks or emergencies] The cover art is courtesy of the very kind and talented ssddx. My Hundredth Life
I was an ordinary guy, living an ordinary life, until it happened. What we came to call the "Reality Break". Monsters started spawning in the streets, Mana flowed through our veins, Skills and Abilities were unlocked, and everyone had a Status Screen. I was living my dream, an RPG apocalypse! Until I died, that is. And woke up in a new world...where I died again. And again. With each death, a new incarnation, a new game world, and new scars upon my soul. Now, at my 99th death, I just wish it would end...but unlike in some of the worlds I have "played" in, this time my wish is not granted. *** Author's Note: This is my first 'serious' attempt at writing a story. I am hoping to turn ths into a series that I can publish to Amazon, but my life is a bit hectic right now, so I can't make any guarantees. However, I have serious reasons for writing at this point in my life, so I will do my best to provide this new twist to the LitRPG genre and keep it up for as long as possible. Thank you, to anyone who reads this. *Also, tags might change depending on how the story goes, there may be mild profanity or mild sexual content, but I have not decided yet.

In this dog-eat-dog society, where value of human life can be assigned a monetary value, we follow our protagonists:- a group of unassuming orphans with a dark secret,- a bastard scion of a massive multi-system corporation,- and a 'garage start-up' comprising of optimistic and starry-eyed inventors setting out in the unforgiving free-market,in their adventures and exploits across the galaxy! AUTHOR'S NOTE:Hi guys! This novel is just a pet project of mine, to exercise my imagination and vocabulary. The regularity of uploads will depend on how well this catches on (but nonetheless, expect at least 1-2 ch/wk).I proofread my own work before uploading it, so there may be grammatical errors or misused vocabulary. Please let me know in the comments and I'll fix it. I found inspiration for this novel from various sources (Cyberpunk 2077, The Mech Touch, etc.) so in some places you may find some similarities. Please note that it is just an inspiration and I'm not trying to blatantly copy those works. While I do have a general plot line in mind, the various volumes (or arcs) will be quite fluid and susceptible to influence from reader suggestions. This is so that my creativity doesn't stagnate. I hope you guys like my work. If not, please leave reviews! I appreciate any and all constructive criticism, and opportunities to improve myself. Scribblehub: Scribblehub_AoCWebnovel: Webnovel_AoC

Different World with Save and Load: A Horror Story
Being strong and being weak is a form of perspective. Are you really as weak as you think you are? Do you really have the power to level mountains and rend the seas? If people tell you are god then you are god, if people tell you are nothing then you are nothing. But who actually sees the whole picture? A not-so-good man (evil) managed to get transported to a not-so-real world (game-like) by a not-so-caring god (lazy). The world uses the all-so-famous “stats”, but he has no access to the so-called “system”. At least he managed to get a cheat from the lazy god, even if it took all his potential. What will a greedy villain with the ability to reset his progress do in a world that is more fake then real with a godlike hero, and a non-caring god?

The Only Survivor
I want revenge. However, to get revenge, I need information. And for information, I need answers. Yet to get answers, I need power. But for power, I need to survive. They made a grave mistake leaving me alive and locking me in a dungeon cell. They will live to regret it. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is a story in a fantasy world with lots of fantastical elements, including magic and cultivation. However, there's also some decent technology in this world. Gaining power has a system and nothing comes out of nowhere. Essentially, the setting and background is high fantasy but the focus will be whatever the MC sees, so expect more of a gritty realistic low fantasy most of the time. The MC is not OP and uses his wits and strategy to survive, and maybe even thrive. The warning tags are just there because I don't want any limits to where this story may lead me to writing. *I don't own the cover*
