The moment Reven issued his order to Aimee, the APBs firing at the Corpse Manipulator stopped.

The Corpse Manipulator was finally free of the blockade.

"I will kill you ALLL!"

Another army of undead was also revealed coming straight towards the group.

"Everyone NOW! WE HAVE TO RETREAT." Aimee shouted.

The group swiftly retreated back towards Reven's group.

At the same time, the Manti-orcs also started to release them. They took out some sort of serum and tried to present them to the group.

Just as they were going to use the serum to make Reven's group free of their immovable Ardor.

PLOP-!

A Manti-orc head rolled.

"YOU!!!..."

The Manti-orc leader shouted hysterically. He was totally flustered with what just happened right now.

Well, not only him but the entire Manti-orc group was shocked.

DECIEVED!

The Manti-orcs were utterly deceived.

Reven was the one who cut off its head in a total sneak attack.

"NOW OR NEVER GUYS! KILL THEM!"

The others also swiftly killed the Manti-orcs nearest to them.

Reven ran towards the Manti-orc leader forming an Ardor extension out of his hand looking like dagger.

Intense pressure of Reven's new [S+] Rank Ardor was horrifying and to the completely shocked Manti-orc it was the perfect way to induce fear.

Though the war-hardened Manti-orc soon came out of any pressure Reven was giving off.

The Manti-orc clenched his fist trying to punch Reven but a suit of armour formed around Reven which protected him from most of the damage.

It was HIDDEN UMBRA!

Thud-!

The fist landed on the Nano-Metals on the surface of the armour and the vibrating nature of the Nano-Bots decreased the impact of the attack very much.

While this was happening, suddenly…

The Manti-orc lord felt immense danger!

Without even knowing what happened the Manti-orc lord died in grievance.

As for how he died, it was Felix of course.

The guy sneak attacked the Manti-orc lord while his senses were extremely tense and were fully focused on Reven.

Phew-!

"Good Job!" Reven commented.

Felix just nodded and took his position at the already present array.

The other Manti-orcs were also captured by this time while the undead hoard was just 200m away from the group.

Reven in the middle of the array with the extra members while the others were at their respective positions in the array.

Reven took a hold of the staff placed near him easily and lifted it extinguishing all the pressure it was emitting. And then he threw it in another opposite direction.

Seeing this the left over Manti-orcs were totally shocked and couldn't wrap their heads around and started to badmouth around.

Reven completely ignored their cries and said while looking at the others-

"Ready! We will do it in 3…

GO!"

Slice! Slice! Slice!...

ZZUUUUUUUUP!

The array finally did it's work and opened a portal in front of them.

"Let's go ASAP." Reven said.

The others nodded and went into the portal.

"I will kill you all."

GRAAAHHHH-!

The angry Corpse Manipulator shouted as hundreds of undead monsters arrived near them.

"Shit! Go fast."

The others increased their pace and entered the portal leaving Aimee, Vera, Cale and Reven.

They also started to enter but…

At this moment while Aimee and Vera had entered their half bodies and Cale and Reven were just about to enter and some pitch black vines came out of nowhere and grab and hold of Cale and Reven.

While Reven easily cut them off. For Cale it became a massive problem.

"SAVE ME!" Cale shouted.

Hearing him Aimee and Vera turned to see what was happening.

Boom-!

Suddenly a small explosion occurred near them as bitch black gooey substance appeared out of nowhere and clutched itself on both Reven's and Cale's body.

Seeing this Reven frowned and thought 'I don't know but my [Intuition] is screaming at me. But I can't find anything wrong here.

Is it a false alarm?'

Reven coated Ardor around his body and cut off the gooey substance.

"Let's Go." He said looking at Vera and Aimee and at the same time cutting off the gooey substance from Cale's body.

Aimee and Vera nodded and slowly entered the portal while Reven and Cale followed just behind.

Just as Reven put his foot into the portal…

He felt unprecedented danger out of nowhere.

And suddenly his other leg felt a pull and he lost his footing.

Seeing this Aimee and Vera were stunned. They tried to go back to save him but…

"No don't! The portal is destabilizing."

Reven looked at them and said "I will come back."

"Fu*k you, we are coming too." Vera shouted as both she and Aimee ran towards him but…

They were blocked by Cale!

"What are you doing?" Aimee asked threateningly.

"I am stopping you. It's no point in saving him now."

"YOU… WHO THE FU*K DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?" Aimee flared as terrifying Ardor came out of her.

Aimee blasted him aside and ran towards him but the portal suddenly vanished while Reven could be seen saying something.

ZUUUPPPPP-!

The portal closed.

"DAAAMNNNNN IIITTTTT!"

Aimee screamed as she released huge amounts of Ardor around her.

A few minutes back.

Reven suddenly got pulled back into the dungeon out of nowhere. He couldn't understand how this had happened and was more confused than ever for the first time in a very long while.

'The plan was all right then where was the problem. I don't think this had anything to do with the Corpse Manipulator. So what could it be…'

Reven already realized that it was going to be impossible for him to cross the portal anymore so he gave a much more thought on the reason for the failure.

A typical thinking style he was taught as a Meta-Human.

Never think about things that were impossible but think what the hell made them impossible!

Just as Reven busy thinking, his gaze suddenly landed on Cale.

And something clicked in his mind as his eyes widened.

Cale also smirked ominously while watching him.

'So that is why… This motherfu*ker.'

Indeed!

It was because of Cale, who had used his ability which he had hidden from everyone. It was called [Thirsty Goo] which was what pulled Reven back into the dungeon.

The guy had used his plans so meticulously that nobody could even realise what had happened and what were his true intentions.

He then looked at Aimee who was running towards him and said "I will be back. So do not worry."

And the portal closed!

'Well… I guess I was overconfident.' Reven smiled bitterly as the portal vanished.
