《Legend of the Black Blade》Book 3 Chapter 1

“HA! HA! HA!”

Loud shouts came from a large training field. This field was located in one of four split segments of a small world with currently only 1 km of diameter from the outer barrier and 500 meters of actual land. At the very center, a colorful sprout grew on an altar while the bark was white and shined all colors.

Faint glowing lights of all elemental colors glowed around it and vanished as they spread out over this small world and slowly returned back. The thin roots of this single sprout, however, were not as small as the exposed sprout. They extended all throughout the interior of this piece of land and was exposed on the underside where the mana concentration was nearly double the upper halves.

This space was Logan’s Micro world.

Almost a year had passed since he saved his family and they ran into no small number of problems from health issues to much more.

Going back, the kingdom of Eshen had finished planning with the Golden Lion Army and with a special magical tool they raised literal mountains in areas so that would block exits from the Thunder mountain and its surrounding forest while the Army settled into the only choke point to the eastern side also making this point a big trade city that will harvest material from the dungeon and the surrounding forest as time goes on.

At the same time, the empire gathered, secretly, a huge number of medical personnel both clinical and military and went into the Golden Lion micro world.

Logan got a few to enter his own Micro world where his direct family were.

The doctors used advanced medical identification for examination of all people and sighed, the youngest children were naturally better off, they only had malnutrition but those above 12 had been beaten and abused the older they were. The worst off were women above that age, not to mention his mother and sister.

“Such a cruel inhuman treatment.” the doctor said and sighed.

“Is it hard to completely heal them?” Logan asked.

“Completely, that would be hard, let’s go down the list of physical injuries and problems. First, calcium deficiency, fragile bones of which some are cracked from beating, some muscle atrophy caused by chains and lack of movement, their entire abdominal musculature can only be called warped from giving birth to 15 children basically a child yearly, they have many injuries and problems such as some kidney stones and even heart complications due to diseases. Next they have close to 20 sexually transmitted diseases and some that were caused by the putrid condition they lived in. The worst part is probably the fact that they had so many children.” He said.

“I get that the mental burden of being raped is hard but how is that a problem?” Logan asked.

“Do you know about life force?” the doctor asked.

“Vaguely, I heard that once humans break the human limit of D rank their life force starts to evolve and extends their life span.” Logan said.

“That is partially correct, life force is basically the energy to live and life force isn’t created from nothing. A mother has to give a small bit to their children to kindle life itself. The problem is that to restore the lost energy, they need several month's to regain their lost energy and that is why women generally don’t work for a few months after giving birth if the job is harder than a certain level of stress. The thing is, Life force also relates to their ‘potential’ as in, how much they can grow and how healthy their bodies are. At their current state, it would be difficult to use any recovery magic because their bodies can barely fight the huge number of infections and diseases much less rebuild their own bodies.” The doctor said.

“Healing pills and food pills don’t work?” Logan asked.

“No, by no means do not give them magical pills. Their bodies are as frail as a child at this moment, they can only heal naturally and regain some weight and before we can start administering low intensity healing magic.” he said.

Logan frowned, “What about opening their mana pool and channel?” Logan asked.

“That would be hard or impossible for them to do it themselves. If you do it then good but be aware of one fact, what keeps their mana pool open is the potential of their bodies, basically, the weaker their life force and the less pure, the lower their natural talent. It is why people born from powerful humans are generally extremely talented.” the doctor said.

“So… they just take more energy to open.” Logan said.

“No, it takes more energy to allow their bodies to adapt to keep the channels opened. You might waste ten, twenty or even 100 times more mana having their mana channels and mana pool remain opened compared to even a talentless child who has completely closed mana channels.” the doctor said.

Logan’s anger instantly manifested, “Those Shiaruian scum will eventually pay in full.” Logan said as his anger burned.

“Son, please don’t hold that much resentment in your heart, you will hurt your future if you keep it.” his mother said after he spoke.

The flame of anger slowly burned down and he smiled at her.

“Is there anything we can do about the normal diseases and infections?” Logan asked.

“Yes, we will take some blood samples and identify each specific disease and split them between STD and infections, we will deal with the infections first and prepare antidotes that should help out. If you can eventually fully open their mana channels, it should help their health improve but it isn’t going to be easy. Most of the young girls at 12 were lucky to not be as heavily affected, you should open their mana channels first so that their own life force isn’t heavily affected.” the doctor said.

Logan nodded.

The boys did not have this trouble but they had their own, basically anyone of them above 12 had a huge number of lash marks on their bodies from whippings and many had improperly healed wounds alongside infections similar to their mothers. Thankfully, they did not have the sexually transmitted ones since they were kept away from that.

After taking a blood sample from everyone the doctor left and the entire family began to decide how they wanted to live.

As you can guess, they all had weak, slave mentalities and were very submissive. This is how they were raised. Logan asked if they wanted to join the Order or they wanted to be simple farmers or anything. What was important was probably giving them education even if it cost a lot of money for so many.

It was natural that not many wanted to be fighters but they all at least agreed to accept disciple training so they knew how to defend themselves.

“Mom… sister.” Logan said.

“We will live happily with you son. We don’t need anything amazing, just a simple life where we can peacefully live and die. We have more than enough children to take care of us and the most dependable brother and uncle for all of them.” His mother said.

Her beautiful face from long ago flashed in his mind and overlapped her current visage.

She was wrinkled and skinny while her hair was very dirty and damaged, even after being washed. He had given them an actual bath with all the luxuries involved and during that, no small amount of hair fell.

“Mom, sister, the health, beauty and everything that was taken, I’ll do what I can to try and return it. Magic is amazing and Jade is a healer. I have been training, even if I have to look throughout the world and find all different kinds of healing processes, magical or science based, I will definitely give you the youth and beauty that will make everyone envious.” Logan said.

The two smiled but didn’t want to pass anything to him. But he didn’t care, he still hugged them both.

Over the next year, outside of training his division, he was joined by his family after two months of recovery. Food and medicine slowly cured one illness at a time from all the young children and then began the hard process of weakening the STD to reduce the dangers of all the girls infected with them.

At the same time that this happened, the Golden Lion Army moved to the location they were given and after a geographic scan, they opened a large expanse of land.

The countless saved slaves would become the first to populate the city after they were all cured. All the thousands were identified and after curing most of the injuries and illnesses that could be dangerous to pass, surviving family members were informed, but under oath, of their families survival.

A huge number of orphans that were already young adults and those in the orphanage found their lost parents alive and these children moved over, currently, into the microworld alongside them rebuilding a number of broken families.

For the immense number of slave children born in Shiarus, there was a surprising number of them who joined the army. They wanted to protect their families from this ever happening and they knew power was the only option.

The men smiled weakly and knew a war with Shiarus would likely be the future but they didn’t care, it wasn’t a nation worth leaving alive. Scum that treated them so harshly was not worth leaving.

As for all the monsters, they were drafted into the Golden Lion Army. It might be cruel but most of them are low intelligence enslaved monsters. Even if they were nearing sentience, it wasn’t enough to give them clean thoughts. Only after they had their cores fixed their intelligence rose but they had lived even more generations than the Eshen people in slavery and were used to the trade of their people. It was just moving from one master to another to them, a sad truth of slavery.

All 52 divisions gained a huge number of members. Most of them went to the other 51 until their numbers finally even up to the over 600 humans in Olivia’s and then it would be balanced out and divided into 52 parts from then on.

Of course, this was not yet achieved, even with thousands of people and monsters joining, the other 51 divisions only filled up to roughly 300 members each. This still meant there were close to 16,000 people in their forces but almost every last one of them were unranked with only the young generation being F rank. Only the old generation was above C rank and it would still take a few years for stronger people to join. Not to mention that close to all beings were from slavery and weren’t the most talented of people to work with.

The humans were given priority to open the mana pools and channels though, actually the girls were opened first because they suffered from the weakest life forces out of everyone.

Logan focused primarily on his mother and sister. As the doctor had said, he used close to five times the normal mana to open their entire system even though he had E rank mana and even then they closed up by about 50% after he was done.

The eldest of his sisters and nieces born in slavery were helped out by Storm, Jade and Jin as they had already been made to give birth.

They were a bit better off though and could at least hold the change as they rested.

Logan took close to the entire year to fully and stably open their mana pool and channels. By then, the three battle beasts had already opened most of his sibling’s channels and they were already able to use their mana on their own to train themselves. Unlike the monsters or the adopted children, they were all still opening it going into their 10th cycle already, clearly showing the difference in talent. He hoped to fix that and started on his mother and sister. They were the most needing of the mana in their blood and body.

Carefully, he had them sleep through the process.

Even if they had healed greatly thanks to the medicine, proper food and magic, their old hair had fully fallen off and was growing unevenly, they had mostly kept their heads shaved to avoid any problems.

Sadly, this is the result of STD treatment. They had to use chemical cocktails for a lot of them and that severely weakened the two through the year but they would come out stronger.

He hoped this would finally strengthen their bodies and maybe even fix their weakened state.

While sleeping under Jade’s spell, he opened the channels to the heart, he had found them a long time ago and was now finally opening them. They were even more frail because of the heart diseases but he couldn’t not do this. It was the last chance to rekindle their life force and help them grow stronger to handle the treatment.

He had started on his mother, she had told him to do this after he explained and it was for one reason only. In case something happened that made it complicated for them to achieve it for his sister.

He was extremely careful until it finally connected to the veins and her body began to pull mana. Jade stopped the spell and his mother began to wake up feeling the heat gather in her heart. She screamed a few moments later that it was hot and had to be held down to not injure herself.

Logan gave her one tenth of a mana regeneration pill to have her body draw more mana and it soon got stronger but it was clear that it was painful.

Those sensitive to mana could feel her body leak mana compared to others who had done it but her body kept absorbing more.

Finally her heart began to glow and it slowly started to spread but it didn’t make it any less painful for her.

They watched as her entire body ‘evolved’ like the monsters did and she stopped struggling once the process spread completely.

The flaccid belly, the thin limbs they all seemed to turn into moldable mana and they saw it start to change.

That said, what startled them was when they heard cracking. It was the sound of her bones as if they were breaking but that was because the evolution reached her bones that could not normally contain this and the process of becoming mana for denser objects was harder.

Eventually her entire body turned into mana and the shape slowly changed. Her abdominal area thinned, her arms and legs lengthened and distortions in their shapes seemed to get fixed out. Her waist gained a slightly more natural form and most of all, hair grew from her head and spread out but not far, it was still short.

Even her chest that had long since sagged from abuse, nursing and age regained a more natural shape until her body stopped glowing.

They all looked amazed as it almost seemed like age was rewinded. She still looked, very much, like a middle aged woman in her mid to late 40s and she still had a rounded belly but it was clear that her body had greatly strengthened.

Jade quickly began to examine her and she raised herself to a sitting position.

“That… intense heat.” She said. “Did… did my body ‘become’ mana, like how monsters did?” she asked.

“Madam, all matter is formed of mana, humans are just a far more rigid race compared to monsters but once mana fills their bodies, it becomes a bit easier to achieve that.” Storm said in Logan’s place.

At the same time, he came and hugged her as he got to see her healthy face once more.

Jade spoke on the side as she examined her body, “All injuries were cleared, entering a state of mana is quite convenient for dealing with physical injuries for sure. Your bones also strengthened greatly and your mana channels and mana pool are now healthy and seem to be able to sustain themselves in their current state.” Jade said.

“Can you tell how much her life force grew?” Logan asked.

“I purchased the spell to check.” she said and called one of the boys and with magic, she drew a magic circle and he placed his hand upon the top. A magical flame formed about the size of an egg. “This is probably as normal as it gets within their current unranked human limits.” She said.

She took his hand off and went to Logan’s mother and she placed her hand.

It took a bit of effort but a flame appeared and slowly kept growing but it stopped at close to half that limit.

“Half…” Logan said.

“Yes, but master… This is what it was like even before that.” Jade said, looking at his sister.

She did it and they were shocked as a flame barely a tenth the original size appeared. “It is correct to say that master rekindled a lot of their life force and it is unlikely that they will fall ill once this is done. If the madam and miss take some time to rest and recover, slowly gather mana on their own, eventually their life force will gather to its natural intensity and they will obtain full health. If you continue to train up F, E and D rank, your life forces would possibly reach the limit of human strength but I am unsure if you can break the limit.” Jade said, honest in her diagnosis.

“We don’t need to aim for power.” Logan’s mother said. “What is important is being healthy.”

“Brother, do me next.” His sister said excitedly.

He smiled and they repeated the process and like their mother, she felt the intense change as her many injuries, health issues and more were slowly improved. The sound of bones breaking was not a good sound but it meant her bones were becoming healthier as mana infused into them.

His sister once more appeared and regained a greater health she had thought impossible to achieve. The beauty she should have as a beautiful adult began to show but even now it was hard to see but you could pick up the traces among the still slightly thin but healthier pale skin.

Unlike her mother, she began to cry of happiness. The years of tortuous treatment were finally done and the appearance that reminded her of it every day was finally gone.

She hugged Logan in her happiness but maybe her excitement was too much, she felt sleepy and dizzy. Jade helped her to sleep and did some healing to help stabilize her emotions a bit and let her sleep.

“This child was always such a drama queen before all this, I wish i could have been ready.” Logan’s mother said.

“Don’t say that, you even sacrificed yourself to buy us time.” Logan said and pulled out Arashi, “It is probably only thanks to grandfather’s sword that I am here today.” He said and told her about how it had taken a bolt of lightning and how he could hold it while shocking everyone and how a master smith repaired her and even improved it into a magic sword.

“Your grandfather and father would be proud to see you today, dear.” She said and yawned. “I think I will rest as well. Even if we recover, I can’t help feeling incredibly sleepy.” She said.

Logan nodded and gave her a hug and let her go rest.

After that he joined Storm and the others as they helped, with their higher quality mana, the younger family members to finish opening their mana channels.

The higher purity energy had a positive effect and it could open their channels wider than uncompressed mana could. Supplying sufficient mana as they trained helped them in their current cycles opening the channels to their limits. They continued a new cycle after that to make sure under Logan’s command and only after it was done, he found and opened the channels to their hearts.

The youngest children only had the faint glow that formed the film that held mana inside but those over 12 all seemed to ‘evolve’, especially the girls who gave birth. The biggest change in the eldest is that their malnourished bodies obtained stimulus to reach their natural size. Their life force was higher than their mothers and the year of food had healed them and now their bodies began to grow to their more natural size.

By the end of the year, his entire family had mana infusing their bodies and were among the healthiest family.

The golden lions naturally thought of using the same process but so many women required intense aid to firmly hold the open channels and even now, barely a fraction had been completely opened and their bodies filled with mana but each who had was on a fast track to recovery.

At this moment, Logan was walking along the many rows of monsters and children who swung their training weapons.

His mother and sister were there after recovering a few days and finally achieving the strength and energy to walk with their own legs.

They joined the training simply to regain their strength. Logan didn’t hit them for obvious reasons unlike the others who were far healthier. Even then, his family only got a slap with the wooden blade’s flat side instead of a stronger blow like monsters got.

The training was his family's therapy and, to a certain extent, they released hidden frustrations with each swing.

His mother and sister were the ones having the hardest time but it wasn’t much different from the many children and monsters when they started. They would eventually adapt to the regime as their bodies adapted.

As the majority finished the sword, he had all those still having trouble with swords to go rest and those left pulled out a two handed sword and lined up in order again and started great sword forms followed by the short sword and ended there.

This is the difference between training and stamina. The official training requirement for them to upgrade to an F rank disciple is at least the strength and endurance to complete, perfectly, the three sizes of sword forms and the spells that are used in combination with them.

When it was done, everyone went off to rest and after half an hour they began to move around with tools. Besides the training field, the rest of the land was farms and they went to tend to the gardens while Logan walked out.

After almost a year already, a town was already forming in the location that would become the choke point of the monster waves. Far off they could see the structures for a large stone wall that would be built along the entire extension of the gap along with watch towers.

At the very center was another big construction and that was the Golden Lion’s first castle and HQ and it had its own wall planned to be built so that only golden lion members could enter.

The rest of the space was very organized to allow stable growth of the town. A lot of machines were already building structured roads and many wooden houses were filling the current dirt roads but that did not stop the development in the least.

Big markets were already opening as this was among the first cities in the west so it would grow big if it came early but that did not stop competition. There were close to twenty other major cities, among which another city north of thunder mountain and forest acted as a secondary choke point blocking any monster wave from going to the north. It would effectively push any monster waves to the south and likely into Oblistan or into the river that once split Eshen and Odriacia.

The current C rank members were the only ones that could police but once the F ranks finally start appearing, they will start to help patrol the town. Everyone is working hard to quickly reduce that burden off the stronger members who were usually very busy hunting a lot of monsters within the thunder forest and mountain.

The A ranks even made it their mission, over the last year and exterminated the dragons around the mountains and the scales were all stored away while bones became another source of material for weapons to be built.

This kind of uncommon strength shocked everyone at the time it happened because even A ranks have trouble hunting dragons but they literally exterminated them around the mountain to drop the danger level.

After that there was a lot of trouble as the ecosystem no longer had the ravenous dragons and many animals wanted to grow to the top of the food chain closer to the mountain and it caused even more competition but at the same time, it was a very prosperous time for hunting.

Among other things, Logan took this chance to join the search for treasures and obtained hundreds of Crystalback Lightning Lizard eggs and gave one to every member of his division that would train to be an actual knight.

The objective was quite obvious, the other divisions could have their own mounts but his division was definitely going to be using Crystal Thunder Dragon as mounts.

Everyone started training them including monsters at the same time, Logan secured through purchase, close to a thousand ogre horns for when they all reached F rank.

To feed them, Storm easily fed them with his own gathered lightning and they were all green crystals as he already gave them some green lightning.

Storm’s own blue lightning was still hard to grow into but the quality of his own purple and green lightning was already much higher as a result.

Logan walked through the growing castle that was already in use by the members. He eventually found Max grinning as he brushed the mane of a small winged creature.

Max had laughed when he first came about these. Every so often, there are strange monsters born and many are quite weak, one quite popular breed in the great empire is the winged cat which literally looks like a domestic cat with long bat wings.

That said, Max had actually purchased one for himself and one for every member of Olivia’s division including herself to raise.

Why exactly? Because he said that there is a creature known as a manticore who is a winged lion with bat wings and a scorpion tail which is an incredibly powerful B rank monster. If tamed and raised as a mount, they are incredibly powerful. In a similar sense to Logan raising a lizard into a drake, Max was planning to see the result of raising a winged cat into a powerful monster mount.

His feline companion was already the size of a lion at the peak of F rank thanks to Max personally training him with his own mana but he was stopping that and the winged cat would start training itself. The intelligence was already very high so it was already understanding how to train on its own.

“Hey, how is your family?” Max said.

“Those I am training back to health are good but you tell me about you and Olivia.” He said.

The relationship between them over the past year since they went through the desert had slowly patched up and they were able to talk a bit more casually.

“Good as any other day. That girl has really grown into her role after that little support you gave her when you sparred last year, the arrogance of those little brats decreased a whole lot.” Max said.

“Are there any plans for the foreseeable future?” Logan asked.

“You could take any of the hundreds of missions at the adventurers guild branch that appeared. Other branches are appearing as well. If you want some kind of contract, you can look for the mercenary guild and they can give your division a mission if you want.” Max said.

“Nah, I’m not a B rank to be able to carry a mission like that. Smaller missions are almost exploiting us by then.” Logan said.

Max nodded and understood. Mercenaries face a lot of trouble as hired hands, sometimes the pay is quite low as well and there is a need to divide what needs to be given to the army funds and then split the rest among the men. The final gain is generally too small to be worth it. It is one reason adventurer parties rarely surpassed 10 men while mercenaries, who are usually weaker in general, number close to 50 at a time.

The number of B rank mercenary groups are drastically smaller than the number of equally ranked adventurers for obvious reasons.

“I’ll just have to check what we can do but I think soon I will have the first F ranks among my division.” Logan said.

“And what about you?” Max asked.

“I’ve been able to do 8 cycles this last year so in a few months I should reach peak and be able to go up to D rank.” Logan said with a smile.

“That is good.” Max said.

“Yeah, honestly if it wasn’t because of the weapon forms she needed to learn, Helen would already have caught up.” Logan said.

“I’m sure, a fairy is basically like Jin and naturally formed of mana condensed with life.” Max said.

“Right, also… how is the Dark Empire?” Logan asked, frowning.

Max sighed, “Over the last month their military power seems to be rapidly going up. They’ve converted basically all border cities into military encampments and blocked basically all paths besides the ocean to their capital but have clear passage of their own through all their military establishments. They can attack any nation if they want and are perfectly defended because they aren’t even thinking about the long term, it is clear that within the year they will attack because they need food and likely a dungeon.” Max said.

“Wouldn’t attacking any one nation leave them open for attack?” Logan asked.

“That would be true if they didn’t have so many monsters. Their troop number already passed several millions because of nations finally calming the sentient monsters in the middle of last year and agreeing to their demands. After many of them formed stable mana pools and had solid enough bodies to protect themselves outside and not instantly die, they began to enter the wilds and travel like adventurers after converting all their gold into Tip. Among them, a number settled into the Dark empire that isn’t ruled by humans. Sad to say but they aren’t looking kindly at humans and probably won’t for a while.” Max said.

“If i remember correctly, aren’t the number of mercenary groups rising explosively due to monsters.” Logan said.

Max nodded and sighed, “I can’t say it isn’t unexpected really, it was the release of millions of F, E and D rank monsters while C and above are in far smaller numbers and mostly stable already. To be honest, it would be great to recruit them but the few we tried already rejected so we didn’t do much else after that, a simple invitation was all.” He said.

“What are the chances of monster mercenaries safely forming sufficient strength to form their own nation?” Logan asked.

“That is a useless question to ask, they might find a mana development technique at most up to around E rank easily enough but every technique has to be compatible and puzzle piecing it won’t work in the long run. They are likely to reach E rank purity and the rest of the way will fill in quantity like normal. Their biology will still evolve with quantity so to them, what is important is that the base of their strength is stronger than normal and after that they can figure out what to do.” Max said.

Logan sighed and thought of this, “I wonder if the human nations will attack them? I feel like if one of them is foolish enough and that information got out, the entire continent’s population of sentient monsters will look to them and squash them with sheer numbers.” Logan said.

“Only if S ranks existed, no matter the strength, if you want massive military movement, S ranks will always be the one acting as the guiding hand. Instead, it is likely similar creatures would more than likely settle down and grow their population naturally in the wild and eventually their natural strength in number and the presence of mana techniques to unlock the first steps would allow them to retain their natural talent instead of be like the monsters we get who degrade to breeding with animals.” Max said.

“Alright, I think I will go look around, there is still a lot that we need to prepare.” Logan said.

“Oh right, how is that little religion of yours coming along?” Max said laughing.

Logan rolled his eyes, Jade was naturally the high priestess of the Pantheon of knights, within his division she would regularly kneel and meditate in prayer, the first few times she felt the connection and learned about each god that formed the pantheon.

When she awoke, she obtained gold, silver and bronze metal plaques and hammered their names into the plates. Only a single one was different and made of rare magic metal. Logan coughed when she asked for him to get a plate of Mythril with the name of the ancient god but eventually he gave her the funds and helped get the material.

It was unknown if it was all of them but there were 22 gods and goddesses. She had made a small building and placed each plaque on a pedestal but she just knew their domains and names. All except the ancient god who was just written as ‘Ancient God of Knighthood’.

Then the gods were split into ‘levels’. Gold plaques were called the seven virtues of Knighthood. They are Chivalry, Loyalty, Honor, Courage, Justice, Mercy and Hope. Each of them represent a form of attitude that should be displayed, the last four in particular. Courage to fight, Justice to not let evil prevail, Mercy to give those willing to change a chance and Hope as the final bastion.

Silver were domains more commonly seen and prayed for. They are War, Combat, Strategy, Wisdom, Law, Order and Duty. Strategy and Wisdom are goddesses and seem to connect with War and Combat taming their cruelty with rational thought.

Lastly, the bronze plaques represented skill or even classes. Swordsmanship, Spearmanship, Weapon Mastery, Hunt, Warrior, Knight and Defender. The hero had once said that there was a ‘system’ of classes and it was clearly seen with humanoid monsters as they ‘evolved’ into a class.

On the very same plaques, Jade carved the crest of each separate god on the plaques while on the god of knighthood, she instead seemed to release the aura that connected everything and infused it to the very plaque and it is why she wanted magic metal which could retain that.

Finally, she had the crest forged and placed it on the back wall which seemed to bring a divine aura to the small building she made but even with how simple this room that couldn’t even be called a proper chapel was, she brought monsters and humans in the micro world and introduced these god’s that protected the domain of knights.

It didn’t need a fool to feel that aura, it also didn’t need magic talent because the aura of gods didn’t affect magic, it was felt by the very soul so at every god they were introduced they would pray to and to the ancient god they kneeled.

It was sure to make a big splash but both in his micro world and at the HQ where she made the same thing. The children felt a big reaction but the adults were a bit less enthusiastic as they had been outside religions. Jade said that they didn’t need to join or do anything, she was spreading his faith, not trying to merge the Golden Lions with the faith and make them some kind of Holy Order or anything.

They mostly avoided the chapel but there would be a few young people coming. The only people who came constantly were goblins. The reason is that sentient goblins have a strange fixation to trying to have their own god that could protect them.

The first caravan dungeon was no different in fact. The divine relic had been filled with powerful faith from goblin races from the caravan letting her ascend and become the goddess of nomad.

If she was present, she would happily talk about the gods if they were interested but only what she knew. She prayed daily in hopes of learning of their appearance to produce an idol that could further manifest their great aura and had begun to learn sculpting but she made something interesting by combining it with her sword training and she would make roughly cut sculptures before doing the normal sculpting.

“Jade is just trying to get it running but hasn’t even pulled anyone to help her yet though i have a feeling a number of those enslaved goblins will soon be begging to be trained like priests.” Logan said.

Max laughed hearing that, “It wouldn’t be bad to have a few holy knights among the Order. We already have traces of holy mana, if we add a holy water vial on swords then we might be able to do a few enhanced holy attacks when it matters.” Max said.

“We will see what we need to do.” Logan said and frowned. “How long are you going to wait to get rid of those really irritating things?” Logan complained in a low tone.

“Oh? Again?” Max said.

“I’ve basically felt it every time I come out now.” Logan said.

Max laughed, “Fine, I’ll deal with it. You can go about your business.” Max said.

Logan nodded and walked out of the built segments while Max finished brushing the cat’s fur. “Alright, back inside buddy.” He said opening his personal Microworld’s door and the winged feline walked inside and he walked to the lights and turned it off. Only his eyes were visible as he closed the door and the room was engulfed in darkness.

Logan was frowning for ten minutes until the glare vanished and he suddenly felt a faint tremor and grinned as his body relaxed and he didn’t feel the hairs on the back of his head standing on ends at all times.

He went to look for some work or if there was anything to do to help.
