After what we had just discovered about what was going to happen, we had to change the plan drastically instead of doing recon we had to make a diversion from what the Aku-no were doing, at that same time of diversion we must contact command about what we found out. then after that we must continue with the basic plan of us being reinforcements.

now what we had to figure out is the diversion and what was that diversion, we have no clue one of the ideas one of us had proposed was to strip and wave our asses around to make the Aku-no wonder what the fuck species are they trying to kill, to be honest I don't put it past them if were where to do that but after that idea multiple ideas were thrown around the place but one idea caught my attention and that idea was really cool, dumb and effective at the same time.

In Beth’s house.

I wonder what Richard is doing right about now I hope he is ok and not injured or something and I sure do hope that I kept my worried face hidden from the others, gosh why did I fall for such a man why was him of all people that I fell for sure he is quite muscular, brave and has a kind heart…. god dammit Beth get your head out of the gutter and focus on what is in front of you if I need to tell him that I love him than I will do that to get all of these thoughts outside of our head.

Knock knock knock…. “Who is at the door at this time of night jeez” Beth proceeds to open the door and sees Jacob standing there, “Jacob why are you here at this time of night what is wrong? Did something happen?” Jacob is just standing there I get the feeling I should run and hide from him but that would be wrong we are friends. “Beth, I am here to take you some where far from Richard as you don’t need him all you need is me” what does he mean by ‘all you need is me’ does he want me for himself, but Jacob is not that kind of person he is a kind man but this from him why, why is he doing this.

Beth after going through that thought about what was going on with Jacob, steps a few paces backwards to get away from Jacob “look Beth there is no need to be scared all I want is for you to be far away from Richard so we both can live a happy life” at this moment Beth does not know what to think as she can only think that this is a dream and she just wants Richard to come save her from it.

Sector H-55 FOB HOPE/DEATH

Alright everything is set in place and ready to go at this moment we just need the other’s to get back from the area so we can start the plan, so short story we are going to make big fireworks and scream while looking at it I don’t know why we want to scream while looking at it but fuck it lets do that and be people from a series of buff looking men scream at each other for multiple episode’s at a time.

Now what the plan was that we were going to compile all our *an explosion is set off*…. Explosives…… in one place……… I have such great timing to talk inside of my head about things we plan is this meant to be comedy of some kind because if it is then it is not fucking funny dammit. So now that has been done, we are going to set up for the great onslaught of death coming our way after what happened now at this point the radio is dead quiet but that changes after a half a minute as the coms fill with the distress from our diversion unit being slaughtered by the Aku-no as they were to bring the Aku-no to the FOB and we would hold here so that the other sector does not get over run.

After a few minutes the coms go dead quiet and we start to see the last remains of the unit appear, we all began to get ready for what was coming, after the last of the guys from the diversion unit get into cover and get ready to fight we see the enemy not long after they are all snug and in position and we wait for them to trip the land mines and claymores we have set out in the main road. I swear you could hear a pin drop because of how quiet it was, then they crossed the line of detonation all that can be heard after they crossed was blearing explosive might that we thought would at least get a good chunk of them out of action.

The smoke cleared and we saw the Aku-no some still floating but a couple of them looking like they are shielding them self’s from the brute force claymores and tripwire bombs we had set up, once we saw them the LMG gunners gave them hell with the new LMG I believe they called it I42 and it has a lot of ammo with I believe 250 bullets in one box magazine, now I have only been here for at least for 6 months but maybe shorter who knows I have not been paying attention maybe 2-3 months maybe, now the I42’s shoot a bullet caliber of 5.76x54mm bullets, now these gun are firing and that all that we are hearing the roar of mighty I42, when I peak out of cover to look at what is going on what I see is amazing an Aku-no looking like it is injured from the gunfire we are giving it but I don’t want to count on that but it really does look like it is suffering from an injury , now after the big fuck off wave of bullets produced by the I42’s we open fire with our new puppies the MH67J assault rifle that shoots out bullets that are 5.68Male rounds, now male rounds are standard issue rounds but female rounds used for the snipers are bigger and have more of a velocity to them but male rounds pack a punch have much more penetrating power due to how tough the bullet is, if that makes sense.

Now we all open fire on the big floating jelly fish, to our not so surprized looks we are doing a little to no damage at all but the HEAT (bullets that are hot as fuck more hotter than normal bullets) rounds tend to pen through whatever kind of Armor they have protecting them now here is where we found out what a high velocity projectile the Aku-no use as multiple a of there tentacles poke up around the place from different areas, then they are released and hit our positions with a force that it shakes the building’s we have built. from what I hear from coms 2 are KIA and 4 are injured so the medic unit takes in another 4 people from the 2 that came back alive being the diversion unit so 8 in total so far and 14 people added to the list of KIA.

After that commotion the Aku-no took that time to where we were dealing with wounded to push into the breach they made, now hell breaks loose we all push to the second line of defence out of the quick make of buildings into now trenches and bunkers with Heavy Machine Guns That fire in only Heat rounds in 5.76x54mm, these guns are called HMZ45’s and they are big guns. After we all got into our little trench line, we wait for line of sight to start shooting, while we wait for them to appear with the time we have brought by rushing to this line of defence we do a head count for the squad to see how many people are still combat effective and 17 are MIA at the moment. We sit and wait then the first of the Aku-no rush out while doing so the HMZ’s light them up and well they fall like butter to a hot knife. We are killing them, holy shit we are killing them.

“Sir, there seems to be a flank coming from the south of here it is a small amount of Aku-no but still an amount that can threaten the FOB, what should we do.” Kimber shouts as the radio operator moves back to start firing at the Aku-no again, “we will go along with another unit to go deal with them, also do we have 2 spear HMZ’s?” I shout as loud as I can back to Kimber he nods and that’s set, I radio in that we need a reserve squad to meet us at the south side of the FOB to deal with the flank after saying that a spike hits the trench and people call 3 KIA out loud and 6 Injured so medics were called to pull them out then people refill the spot to stop the same thing from happening again as the first line.

I hop out of the trench along with the others to head out to the south and set up, the reserve unit is there with the HMZs set up and stationed ready for battle we all get dug in ready for fighting, the first to appear is a different kind of Aku-no, all I can say it is not the kind of Aku-no we have been fighting it has a different shade of colour to the normally Blue coloured ones, this one is a shade of dark blue and seems to be some kind of leader, now we open fire on them and I tell the closest HMZ to fire on the dark blue Aku-no and so he does and the rest try to protect him but fail as they don’t expect bullets to go really fucking fast. That Aku-no fell as hard as bricks, the rest of them were easy to deal with our great weapon the HMZ by our side so we start to head back to the trench line and when we come back the pile of dead Aku-no killed there is something to behold then they just stop coming from it so we all stop firing and wait for more to come but after 2 hours of waiting for them to come they never did come back to fight us this was the time we would take to contact command about what is going on and the situation we find ourselves in.

An unknow location in Last light.

Beth starts to awake from her involuntary sleep that had befallen her when Jacob showed up at her house she starts to panic and wonder where she is, where is Jacob, where is this place, what is going on outside.

Why am I here?

She stops to panic as she has started to realize she was kidnapped…… she than starts to panic once more but Jacob walk’s in with two armed men,” Jacob where am I, why are you doing this to me what are trying to do!” she yells at him he however he does not seemed to bothered by it “Beth darling please stop making a ruckus I told you did I not? About why I am doing this I want Richard away from you and him dead” Beth stops to try and get herself free and finally realizes why she was kidnapped she did not want to believe it but at this moment she has no choice but to believe it. You silly little girl not thinking about how other people feel toward you. She gives the look of despair as her kidnapper/exfriend comes closer “why do you have that look on your face, oh did you just realize why you were kidnapped, is that the reason if so I feel so sorry for you as you were trying to gain the attention of Richard to notice you, poor you having to wake up from that dream now this may sound like a cliché but I was never your friend Beth I was your lover I wanted you but Richard stole your heart and you want him not me I find that quite heart breaking Beth” she cannot speak she is but in shock to what Jacob has said to her.

All he wants is her and that is it, she guesses that he wanted her since they first met, that was the time he fell for her, but she never had her heart reserved for him but someone else and that did not please Jacob. Beth is still in wonder who the other people are and why are they armed, Jacob see’s the confusion on her face “they are my guard’s sent from my family to protect me, I am a high ranking noble from a high ranking family after all and that is the big secret I have been hiding from you all” Her face rise’s in shock of what she just heard ”yes I am a noble and we are planning to take the city for ourselves” she just does not know what to think any more as she want’s Richard to come back from that stupid operation phoenix and make her feel something other than hopelessness.
