“Did any of your skills go up during the fight?” We were in the cave over looking the desert, it was currently lunch time of the next day, I don’t know if the Dungeon caused it or if some players did it, but it was currently raining quite heavily.

“Yeah, my Sea Trident has gone up to Mastery 2 Sir Udon”

“My Low Cold Resistance went up to 5 Mastery, Papa Udon”

“None of mine went up Master Udon”

“Neither Hero Udon” The girls all told me, we sat around a camp fire, we went in turns trying to heal Nino, he was still unconscious, but we had stopped the bleeding.

“Do you think he’ll ever wake up Sir Udon?” Umi asked looking at the injured God with a concern

“Who knows” I replied bluntly taking a bite of a Desert Bull we had caught earlier.

“Honestly, I don’t care if he wakes up or not, his a God you know, they all seem like power hungry lunatics, I’d rather him not wake up” All the Gods I had met were just psychos and evil, ‘God’ wouldn’t be the word I’d describe any of them

“I hope you aren’t referring to all Gods little Udon” A familiar womanly voice appeared out from the rain

“Who’s there!” Miko stood up quickly and held her dagger out

“Settle down, we are not here to harm you, it has been a while, I’m surprised you managed to get all the way up here” The woman showed herself

“Hathor? What are you doing here?” I asked, if she was here that would mean…

“Uhh, little boy, look at you, all bruised up” Eros appeared right behind Hathor, I really don’t like that Demi-God

“Hello Lady Hathor, it is nice to see you again” Umi got up and walked over to greet the two

“Big Sister Miko, these two helped us out when we were trying to rescue you” Vnaa tugged on Miko’s pants, Miko didn’t put her dagger down though, hmm, she was becoming more paranoid each day, I understand it but I hope its not because of me

“I see you rescued your comrade, that’s nice to see, however, we are here to help out our friend Nino” Hathor pointed to the unconscious little boy

“So, is he really a God?” I asked scratching my head, I was still sitting down munching on the Desert Bull Skewers

“As rude as ever, I swear I don’t know what Hathor sees in you, to me you’re just a filthy human” Eros shot me a piercing glare, what was his problem

“Eros that is quite enough, you know little Udon is not the first to ask if Nino is truly a God and I doubt he’ll be the last” Hathor walked over to Nino and put her hand on his forehead

“Yeah, yeah, can we just grab him and get out of here…Wow, look at this beauty!” Eros saw Miko and went straight over to her

“Uhh Master Udon” Miko turned to me in a hurry, she looked creeped out by the sudden action Eros had taken

“Just kill him, his a creepy pervert, no one will miss him if his dead” I told Miko

“You little brat! I am a God of love, you dare…”

“Eros! Leave it” Eros turned to Hathor who was glaring at him more intensely than he was at me, he looked frightened

“Oh, I almost forgot” I stood up and moved towards Hathor behind Eros

“For last time!” I struck my elbow hard into Eros’s spine, he bent over in pain and quickly moved to Hathor’s side

“Sir Udon!” Umi shouted out shocked, Serena was still sitting down picking at the Desert Bull, is she obsessed with food or something? How is this not getting her interest?

“Why you little…ow, ow, ow!” Hathor twisted Eros’s ear

“Stay away from her, none of my party need your creepy vibe around them” I stood in front of Miko and threatened the pervert God

“Why you… ow, ow, ow!” Hathor twisted the other ear of Eros

“Interesting, you are quite the special boy, to have not one but three” Hathor turned to Miko, I looked behind to see her beet red, what did Hathor mean by three?

“What do you mean?” I asked

“Uggh, it’s nothing Master Udon! Don’t worry, it’s nothing!” Miko shot in front of me and waved her arms out like a mad woman

“Uhh, ok” I sat back down confused on what just happened

“Hmm, I see, a lot of work for you three girls” This time Hathor looked at Serena, she looked up at her and her eyes widened, her cheeks flushed a rosy red and she turned to me

“You have any idea what she’s saying Serena?” I asked picking up another Desert Bull skewer

“Huh? What!? N-no, of course not!” Serena shouted back at me in a high pitched voice, jeez, what is everyone’s problem

“We are getting off topic, Little Udon, thank you for helping Nino, we owe you a debt of gratitude” Hathor picked up Nino and walked over to me

“Don’t thank me, she was the one that grabbed her, I couldn’t care less if he lived or died” I turned away from her pointing at Serena

“I see, you have my thanks Serena, Little Udon I still owe you a debt of gratitude, you killed that corrupt, evil man Aquarus and fought off Neptune the best you could”

“Again, that wasn’t me, we all fought off Neptune and Umi was the one that finished the job on that overgrown squid. If you really do think you owe me a debt of gratitude, use it to kill Neptune, I want to get off these lower floors as fast as I can”

“Do you not no anything! We can’t interfere with Neptune, that would cause our own Guild and Faction to be at war with Neptune’s faction and Guild” Eros butted in walking out into the rain

“Start a war? Is that seriously how you Gods interact with one another” It’s not to surprising, politics would be a major part in this world as well

“My partner is quite correct, if we interfere we will be putting our own Faction and Guild in a difficult position, the only ones that can interfere or hold Neptune accountable for his crimes are those of his own Guild”

“The last I heard, I was getting framed for everything that has happened, all the trouble that Aquarus had caused and now the trouble that Neptune is causing” I stood up and stared down Hathor

“I do apologies, but I assure you the correct people know what has truly transpired on the lower floors” Hathor bowed her head a little and walked off into the rain

“Until we meet again Little Udon, girls do not give up on him” Hathor gave the three girls a sneaky smiled and walked off with Eros in tow

“Any idea what that meant Vnaa?” I sat back down next to Vnaa

“Nope” Vnaa said with a smile munching on some of the Desert Bull, hmm, I didn’t quite believe her just than.

We walked across the Snowy Mountain and across the Volcano, I had finally levelled up to 18, I gained 10 SP along with meeting the skill conditions for the Low Level Animal Summoner and the Insect Repellent skills, my Short Bronze Sword Mastery level went up to 8 as well.

“The town looks deserted Master Udon” Miko told me, we were currently hiding behind some trees just outside the town that Neptune had set on fire

“Lets go, but keep your guard up” I walked out from the tree and into the burnt town

“This is horrible” Umi muttered, we walked through the destroyed town, buildings were pitch black and falling apart, scorched bodies lied in the streets, blood was splattered all over the place, it looks like he decided to kill people before he set the town on fire.

“Hero Udon, is this what Gods are truly liked” Serena asked shocked, she was staring at a house that had its roof caved in, through the rubble you could see a body of a man lying over two smaller bodies, they looked to be children, a dad doing everything he can to protect his family.

“Not just Gods, this is what people are like. The world, no matter what world is run by insane people for insane objectives, we’re being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and if you ever question it you are put away and branded for being insane yourself. There are only a few good ones around.” I told Serena looking around at similar scenes through out the town

“Like you?” Serena turned to me

“…No, not like me, I’m just as bad as these so called God’s, but for other reasons” I didn’t consider myself a good person, I was one of the worsts, but at least I knew it

“Master Udon, I don’t believe that’s true”

“Hold on!” I interrupted Miko and put my arm out to stop the girls

“Well, well, well, you actually managed to defeat those players, even if they were weak I would at least thought you’d fall to the hand of that twisted Sword Hero Weapon, but never the less, you had saved me the trouble in coming to find you” A deep, dark voice echoed through the burnt town, Neptune carrying his Golden Trident over his shoulder walked out around a burnt down building.

“How could you do this! To innocent people! What kind of God are you!” Umi shouted out, the images of burnt children and families along with countless of dead bodies lining the streets must have been too much for her to handle.

“Shut up you mutated monster! You stole the Ancient Siren Core! That power was mine! And you created this filthy mutant! And now she has the audacity to speak to me! Know you place!” Neptune threw his Golden Trident at Umi

*Clang

“Ugh!”

“Sir Udon” I managed to put my sword up just in time, but the impact from the Golden Trident made my sword vibrate violently along with my body, I couldn’t withstand another one of those

“What is it that you want from us?” Serena asked, she seemed a little more calmer than any of the girls with me

“What do I want? Ha! Thats easy! Power! I will be called the saviour of the lower floors! Killing this weakling of a player, the player that not only set fire to the town on the fifth floor but ravaged, pillaged, raped and slaughtered many more on this floor and when he was satisfied, he burnt the town down to cover his treacherous actions, that is when I, the great and powerful God Neptune, stood in and bravely killed the evil Player. All the proof I need is right on that wrist of yours, a Crystal Clear Gem, I could just add numerous crimes and horrible acts you have committed and no one will bat an eye, I’ll gain more followers and challenge that worthless leader of our Guild Hermes, once I become leader, every player on the lower floors will be mine to control, and then after that it’s just a matter of time until I work my way up, conquering floor after floor, gaining more and more players under my control” Neptune let out a deep laugh, he looked almost as insane as that overgrown squid did.

“Will you shut up! You are all the same! All you want is power, power and more power, you don’t care how you get it, you don’t care who you have to step on or kill as long as you get what you want, no one else matters! You know what that’s called, its called being a psychopath, a lunatic, a power hungry loser!”

“A loser! I’ll make sure you die painfully!” Neptune charged in at me, he called back his Golden Trident and jumped high into he air

“Seperate!” I told the girls, they all ran off in seperate ways, I threw a Grenade Seed at Neptune and jumped into a burnt down house

“Arrr!” Neptune took the full brunt of the blast head on, but it didn’t even look like it made a scratch on him

“Just how many times are you going to use that cowardly attack!” Neptune shouted out looking around for any of us

“As long as I can” I jumped out from the burnt down house and slashed my sword down in a horizontal slice

*Clang

Neptune put his Golden Trident up to block my incoming attack. Damn it, I jumped back to get some distance between us,

“Hiyah!” Vnaa dashed around the corner and went to slice Neptune legs

“Huhhhhh!”

“You are nothing more than a mere bug, an insect that needs to be squashed” Neptune gave Vnaa a massive kick sending her into the debris of a house

“You bastard!” I charged once again at Neptune, I managed to duck and avoid his first strike and slashed his right leg leaving a deep cut

“You little shit!” Neptune roared at me

“No you don’t!” Miko came flying in off a roof and stabbed Neptune’s shoulder with her dagger, she pulled it out and kicked off of him before he could swing his weapon into her

“My turn!” Umi came out from a crumbled wall and threw her Sea Trident at Neptune

“You think a weak Trident like this will harm me!” Neptune caught the trident but Umi landed a powerful kick on the end of the trident sending it deep into Neptune’s chest

“Arrr!” Neptune fell to a knee and took the trident out of him and through it away

“Take this!” Serena appeared behind Neptune with her fox claws showing

“Enough!” Neptune grabbed Serena by the arm and threw her hard into Umi, they both flew across the ground and into a half burnt down building, the impact caused the rest of the building to collapse on them both.

“Umi! Serena!” I shouted out

“Your attacks are nothing but weak, cowardly scratches!” Neptune threw his Golden Trident toward Miko and I, we both managed to just get out of the way in time but the Golden Trident landed into a crumbled wall sending debris flying out

“Ow” Miko got smacked right in the back by a large piece of brick

“You have caused me more trouble than I would like to admit!”

“ARRR!” Neptune called back his Golden Trident and struck it through my right calf, the sound of my bone shattering and splintering made me feel nauseous, the blood spurting out of my wound covered my entire leg in a crimson red

“Master Udon!” Miko shouted out crawling across the ground, I caught a brief look at her, the brick must have hit her in the back of the head, I could see the blood running down her neck

“Papa Udon!” Vnaa came jumping over the house she was thrown into too.

“To many distractions here, you need to suffer more” Neptune pulled his Golden Trident out of my leg and gripped my ankle hard

“ARRR!” I could hear my bone shatter again, he had broken my ankle

“Sir Udon!” Umi appeared out of the crumbled down house

“Stay back!” Neptune swiped his weapon through the air sending a shock wave into Umi and Vnaa, they both flew back across the ground for what looked to be fifty meters

“You’ll be torn to shreds and then eaten by the Floor 11 Boss, after that, I’ll grab that arm of yours as proof of your crimes” Neptune dragged me through the town and up the stairs towards the First Dungeon Boss.
