I was rubbing my head with my hand as

was leaning sideways as I was sitting straight up on my living room couch, I had my eyes closed. I couldn't get over the fact I was on the newspaper article and how Jacob was on it as well. The headline was called, "Attorney Of The Year Is Under An Investigation Of His Accused Brother."

I sighed, opening my eyes and laying the newspaper on the coffee table. I couldn't even show this to Mrs. Hutchinson.

Once Mrs. Hutchinson walked her way down the stairs, and she was saying that Jacob is sleeping, got her chores done, dinner has been served for me in case I was hungry after the meeting.

I just looked at Mrs. Hutchinson in silence, and she asked me what's wrong. I sighed, just shaking my head not knowing what to say, and Mrs, Hutchinson walked up to me, and noticed the newspaper lying on the table. Mrs. Hutchinson picked up the newspaper and softly said, "What?"

I sighed, still not knowing what to say about the newspaper. Mrs. Hutchinson just sighed, throwing the newspaper gently back onto the table, and she sat next to me, softly rubbing my back.

"Everyone in this town, this city, they're gonna start seeing me of a person who's protecting a criminal," I softly said, to Mrs. Hutchinson.

Mrs. Hutchinson then went on about how the city won't be thinking of me that way, and I know how the world works for a lawyer having a family member being accused of a crime.

I sighed, stroking my fingers crossed my hair, and I just looked at Mrs. Hutchinson, like I knew I would have to fight for my brother.

I then received a text message from this random dude, I grabbed my cell phone, and the message said, "I hope your brother rots!" I scoffed and then threw my phone on the table.

I was so furious and couldn't even say anything else.

I sighed, leaning forwards, with my head being bent over, and my arms and fingers were crossed together. Mrs. Hutchinson then picked up my cell phone and she read the message.

"You have to tell the police that you and Jacob are being harassed."

"I will if this random dude keeps on messaging me."

"Ryan, don't just wait, it could turn things really badly super fast."

"I know, but I'll tell the police when I need to." Mrs. Hutchinson sighed, rubbing my back once again, "Okay."

I swallowed gulping, stroking my hair out of my eyes once again and I told Mrs. Hutchinson that I am going to bed. Mrs. Hutchinson then stood up from the couch and I did, too.
