《Origin of Flames》19 Nature always wins

I chuckle in a daze and slow motions to push myself up, "I told you, you can't change nature." He snickers, "You are resilient for someone so small." I shake off the daze, huff and a flame engulfs my hands, "I'm not a meathead like you. Also, I'm proud of my streets I grew up on."

Kevin McAllister - Play Dirty

Ice engulfs him as he charges in, I duck and the air smacks against my air. I punch at his shoulder, a huge chunk of ice melts away and my fist hits bone. I pull away at the pain and he kicks me in the crotch. Then a one-two, the force of aluminum bats into my sides. I punch in with desperation, but he leans in and hugs me, "Pitiful!" A huge slam with his knee, it sinks into my gut. Again, the air escapes me. I stare at him in pure scorn, I can hear them. So many ghosts with regrets. I'll live for them and they'll live through me. Flames engulf my whole body and he roars in pain. As my eyes adjust, he jumps away and pats off the flames. His hands bleed bad, but his frost quickly stops it. He's patching himself up with ice? He roars, but Calico's thundering roar seems more important. I rush after her as Wendell shouts in pain.

I run in and find her hiding, bleeding from small bullet holes. Her almost human-like arms tremble with kitten in them. "Kid, take her." "Are you ok!?" She smiles with a dead look in her eyes. "No, no! You're going to survive!" She mewls, "They're coming with the storm." I sigh and take kitten, she snuggles up into my torn jacket. "Scale the wall, snow should break your fall. Run." I gulp and look upon it. Stairs lead up to them, Wendell shouts and fires wildly at me. I run away and up the stairs.

When I get up, there's an even worse blizzard cloud rolling in, behind me, a gunfight breaks out between the civilians and the Onyx Order's militia. I look down and make a jump. A jerk back by my hood, "There's no escape!" He throws me onto the wall and I fumble kitten out my coat. She cries as flames engulf me. New additions to his body, inhuman hand of ice. The frostbite travels up his arm like extra veins. "You don't have to do this!" He rushes in and throws a punch. "I'll kill you!" I step back and throw a punch into his face and he reels back. He punches me and I grab his throat. He screams as blood drips down my hand. I jump and back up. Whoa- What!? He takes a knee and ice envelops his neck. He should be bleeding out by his neck! His face scrunches up tight, his face turns tomato red as he gurgles out blood to a scream in a raspier tone, "Die you inhuman garbage!" Ice envelops him, he turns giant. I freeze in place at the sight. He's insane!

Calico pushes me out the way and I scream, "No!" I look over and there's a huge cavity in her body. I turn to him and rush in, He hammers down, but I'm willing to take that hit. "You killed her, damnit!" He screams as I grab his arm tight, it melts, burns and then he starts bleeding further. He pushes me and I slip off the wall, my fingers manage to grab the ledge. He holds an icicle out his severely burned palm, "Hope you freeze in hell!" Kitten leaps in and bites his hand. He screams and throws her into the snow. I look down and drop to get her. He's healing, "Mommy!" I yank her by the scruff as an army of animal screams draw ever closer. "We have to run!" I rush out into the snow as Wendell shoots large icicles at us. The blizzard smacks against us, I fall into the snow to keep a grip on her scruff. I shove her in my jacket and summon a flame, a large spider towers over us. Hundreds of them leap over or run around the light. I get up and trudge ahead, through the stampede. Kitten mewls loud through the snow, "Mommy!" I growl as panthers rush past, but then a bear walks up . It's eyes widen and mine do too. That's the bear that threw that car while chasing me. I glare at it as it walks up. I lower the flame and it brushes against me, as if it was a blessing. I nod and carry on. No government or militia can stop me, nature's on my side. For that blessing, I'll make sure to be everyone's light. I'll find a way to lift these deadly clouds above us.
