"HUH?!!"
'What did he just say? Does that mean my father is the king of the moon Asura?'
"The king is a mysterious man; only the thirteen generals, his concubines and his offspring have seen his face.
One thing is for certain; you share an uncanny resemblance to him. Also, with the evidence of you being able to split your soul, there is no doubt in my mind that you are his child. The only problem is, I don't seem to recall a time that would make sense 17 years ago for the timeline to add up."
I never knew my father and my mother had died at birth. The circumstances are to perfect with what Shiroi was saying and it wasn't like I could doubt my only lifeline in these strange lands. An elegant voice brought me out of my stupor.
"I know this may have come to a shock to you and things might be moving too fast but I hate to be the bearer of bad news; it only gets worse from here.
Souei has made contact with his majesty and has requested an attendance with you one month from now to discus some matters, the problem with this is the Qi density in the capital of Zerxes is too potent and you would die before you reach the borders."
Shiroi gave me this piece of news like he was talking about the weather. I wanted to slap this old man in his face.
"So how the fuck am I going to have this meeting with the Emperor old man?" I said slightly annoyed.
"This is why I said It would get worse. You need to reach Rank 1 in one months time.."
I looked at the old man with burning anger. "Is that even possible?" I pleaded.

"Well...yes, but the methods are extremely painful but I promise under my tutelage you will reach rank 1 maybe even before the deadline."
"Fuck sake," I muttered "It's not like I have a choice is it." And like that training begun in the eastern outpost.
Shiroi moved me another room, It had a King size bed with ancient looking decorations a bathroom and a toilet.
A black set of latex training gear laid on the bed and I immediately reached for It. Shiroi saw my actions and called out.
"I see you like your training gear I prepared, unfortunately the time to change is not now; you must go through the first step. Body reformation."
A confused look adorned my face. "Body reformation? Why don't I like the sound of that. Could you tell me what that entails?" I enquired.
"Boy, when I told you we have to go through unconventional methods to speed up the process of getting you to rank one, I meant it."
I watched him as he waved his hand and a smile vile of red liquid appeared, he was about to talk when I decided to ask him how he is able to do that.
"Old man, how do things keep appearing in your hands?" He looked at me curiously for a moment then his face relented, it is evident he still doesn't trust me all the way.
"That would be my family's bloodline ability, spatial manipulation. Its very handy for storage"
A dense pressure overwhelmed me. Shiroi disappeared from where he stood and a cold metal touched the back of my neck. *SHING!...* "It's also amazing for slaughter," he sheathed his blade
"But enough talk lets move to the bathroom. Oh and heads up, body reformation is meant to be done over a period of 3 years. Constantly fighting ang tearing limbs, punching iron trees till your knuckles break training Qi till your veins burst.

Your about to go through all of that pain in the span of 10 minutes so prepare yourself."
'This old fart wants me dead.' What did he just say? Why the fuck would I ever want to do that, once again I'm completely at his mercy and I must comply.
I vowed to myself to get stronger than him so I could slap him in the face just once.
Ten minutes had passed and Shiroi had run a hot bath. He opened he small vial of red liquid and dropped contents of it into the hot water.
The water immediately turned crimson read while the temperature seemed to have risen some more. I looked at the bathtub with immense dread.
"You don't have to worry boy, I'll circulate Qi through your veins and ease the pain as much as possible. Take a second to gather yourself then step in and completely submerge, I'll create an air bubble of Qi around your mouth and nose so you won't drown."
I nodded slowly not taking my eyes of the crimson water. I breathed in slowly and submerged my entire body.
The pain was simply unbearable, I spasmed rigorously and I felt a hand keeping me in place. I looked at my arms and legs and I could visibly see my flesh tearing away until I had no skin on my body, my open veins and muscles were screaming; everything that touched me sent a jolt of electrifying pain up my spine. I couldn't lie still, I was convinced I would die and this was the worst pain I experienced until my bones started to break.
*CRUCNHHH!* "ARGHHHHH!"
Every bone in my body broke at once and it wasn't until five minutes later that my body started to repair, Shiroi dragged me out of the bathtub after another long 5 minutes of bone and skin repairing; I even felt my hair grow back to my waist. In the end I couldn't keep my consciousness and my world faded into nothing.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

Overseer
From the nothingness I appeared. Bodiless, voiceless, ageless, I have only thoughts and emotions to guide me. My one connection to the world lies in the hearts of a small colony of lizards, just on the cusp of maturing. I reach out to them without hands, inspiring them to be more than what they are, shaping their bodies from visions of lost memories. But where do the memories come from? I am always left with more questions than answers. In my lonely shapeless existence the lizards cannot hear my words, and they cannot feel my touch, and I must wonder, do I even really exist? --- Called emotional, abstract, and beautiful by readers, this story is an observational account of a disembodied entity that has the power to influence and change a race of mildly intelligent lizard creatures. Memories of a previous life often serve as inspiration, but also generate questions as to whom the entity might have been before it became an Overseer. (presented in short chapters) (Thank you readers for getting my story into the top 5 ;u; ~
