"You look so fucking hot in that dress," Leo exclaimed.

"Of course I do, you gifted me." I scoffed and smoothed out my hair.

I am wearing a red mid-slit dress, with red lips and my hair in a ponytail. Leo forced me to wear it he thinks I will look exquisite in red.

I have never worn red this bright in my entire life and to make me more nervous a red lipstick on top of that. Which I just removed for the second time and was gonna apply again.

He just stood there, checking me out through the mirror, smirking at me, throwing me small kisses.

Stupid.

"Leo for the God's sake tell me what is the surprise." I pleaded.

For the last one week, I have been begging, cooking for him, and seducing Leo to tell me the surprise, but nothing works for him.

Only I get trapped in the seducing part and then he won't leave me alone after that. It is very difficult to strain Leo from marking my neck.

Not that I don't do such things, but it is more embarrassing for me than for him, because he doesn't even feel embarrassed.

"Nope." He said with pop in p.

"I hate you."

"No you don't, you know that," Leo said turning me around to face him, snaking his hands on my waist and my arms were now on his neck.

And it's not true.

Leo dipped his head down to kiss me, but I kept my hand on his lips preventing him to kiss me. His eyes grew wide because I have never denied him a kiss before.

well, there is a first time for everything.

"Might as well you get a kiss after I see the surprise," I said and made my way to the washroom to apply my lipstick again.

"Cruel woman."

"Smart woman," I argued.

After getting ready we went to the church, and yeah that's right, Elyse is getting married in a church today.

The church was beautifully decorated with lavender colour flowers, the building was old yellow giving a vintage tint to that.

We made our way towards Leo's parents where Adam, Connor and Jul were also sitting.

No one was supposed to see Elyse before she walk down the aisle not even her mother so we all just sat there in the church laughing and talking.

It was her order as she would like to make an entrance.

Soon we all were told to settle down in our places, Leo couldn't sit with me because he was the best man standing behind Adam.

The flower girl came in a cute baby pink dress throwing flowers on the path.

The high doors opened, and Elyse stood there with her dad looking absolutely like an angel descended from heaven in her white a-line gown and a long veil.

The whole church room was filled with wows and awes, Adam stood there looking at Elyse with his eyes a little wet. Leo kept tapping on his shoulder soothing him down.

Elyse reached the stage and the priest started to say the vows, the whole ceremony was magical exactly like from a movie.

Leo looked at me in between the ceremony smiling at me, the smile that I could die for.

As the priest said, 'you may kiss the bride.' Adam lunged forward picked up her veil and kissed her. Till the end, everyone was in awe of them.

Both bride and groom made their way to the exit door of the church, now was time that Elyse will throw her flower bouquet for us to catch.

Me and Jul we're both in the group among Elyse's friends and cousins. Elyse threw the bouquet behind her, me and Jul lunged towards it, catching it at the same time.

Both our respective boys looked at us, with mischief and adoration in their eyes, Jul looked at me and we both laughed at their gaze on us.

After a while, we all made our way toward the reception area, which was just half a mile away from the church.

While Elyse went to change her clothes, Leo and me we talked with all the people who were business associates of Leo.

I must say people were quite surprised when they saw Leo talking with me while smiling and laughing with me and especially when he called me the cute nicknames and occasionally kissed me on my cheek.

Connor noticed my confusion he told me that Leo is not like the way he behaves with us, at the office he is like a Hitler always strict with no smile until or unless he doesn't get a deal done.

Lucky me I haven't seen his that side, I feel like he looks more adorable with a smile on his beautiful lips.

I should tell him to smile more. A friend on his face will make him old fast.

Elyse came with the changed outfit and everything started to change, people were dancing eating drinking and enjoying themselves like there is no tomorrow.

Leo and I danced like maniacs for like about an hour and also got glares from Ava who I didn't knew also attended the wedding.

It was half an hour to midnight and Leo and me sitting closely with my arms locked with his and my head on his shoulder.

Leo's hand rested on my bare thigh poking out of my slit, rubbing my thigh in a slight up and down.

"Leo." I poked his arm.

"Where is the surprise?" I asked because honestly I want to kiss him but can't.

"Just a minute sweetheart," Leo said and got up from the chair making me confused.

"I have to see something, I will come and take you in five minutes," Leo said and bent down to kiss my forehead.

"I will miss you," I mumbled and Leo just smiled at me.

God knows what surprise it exists.

I sat there alone looking at all the people who bring happiness to my life, who makes me feel I am worth it and that I deserve to be happy.

Even if I am not a legitimate child.

As I sat there looking at people drinking my pineapple juice and waiting for Leo to come back to me a panic looking Ava came running to me.

I swear to God I just don't wanna look at her face or hear anything from her mouth.

"Savanah...." She breathed out.

"I am sorry Ava, but I am in no moo-." Before I could complete my sentence, she interrupted.

"It's Leo, some somebody hit him, he is bleeding."

Hearing this thing I couldn't able to move, it's because of me, he went for that stupid surprise and got injured because of me.

"Come with me, you are a doctor you can help him."

Ava held my hand tightly and dragged me from my seat to the outside of the reception area.

The whole time I asked her whether she called an ambulance or not but she didn't say anything

I even told her to call Leo's parents, but she said that we can call him after getting him admitted to the hospital.

At this time I couldn't breathe my whole mind was just running toward their condition of Leo, why would anyone hurt him.

Soon we reached the parking lot I ran from Ava's hand finding Leo but couldn't.

I called his name multiple times but no one answered.

As my eyes scanned the whole parking lot my eyes went to a certain red car that has been following ne like a hawk for the last few days.

Then it clicked, it was the car that I saw that day at the club when I went to give Leo the papers.

Ava was there too.

This was her car.

Ava followed me.

Ava tried to run me over.

This was all a plan, but before I could turn to face her, I felt a sharp pain at the back of my head and my vision got black.

I didn't even kiss Leo.

I couldn't tell him that I love him.
