"Which one Jul, green or pink," I asked with frustration in my voice, I swear to God selecting a dress is the most tedious part especially when you are meeting your boyfriend's parents.

Oh yeah, we came back from Seattle 2 weeks ago, after my panic attack, I could finally trust Leo with things, he is so adorable with me and no one repeated that incident.

Yesterday night when I was having dinner with Leo he just asked me to meet his parents as his girlfriend because it's been 1 month of dating.

He said and I quote, they are waiting eagerly to meet with me. I don't know how it's done but I surely will faint.

I mean I have met Vanessa and Ambrose multiple times but I met them as their doctor or Leo's friend but today I am gonna meet them as their son's girlfriend.

This is new to me, what if they don't like the girlfriend. Will Leo breaks up with me? I hope not.

"Go with the green, it's natural and fresh." I looked at Connor who was just sitting on the couch eating the chicken pie, he just nodded with his mouth full.

With Jul being his girlfriend Connor and I have gotten closer, he is like a big brother to me and so is Adam.

I am wearing a velvet green colour short full sleeves dress with my hair open, it feels safe, it doesn't show so much skin and it is perfect to meet parents.

I went inside my room to get dressed because Leo is gonna be here in 15 minutes, I had already taken the shower and my hair was left the wavy as they already are.

Now only 5 minutes left before Leo comes in front of my door, I quickly wore my sneakers, don't judge me it's the month of March and I don't wanna wear heels to freeze my toes.

But before I could lace my shoe the doorbell rang, "Jul open the door please Leo must be here." I said from my room to see the couple making out near my kitchen sink.

I went to the door with my laces open falling but not touching the ground. As I opened the door my eyes found Leo dressed charming with a nude turtle neck and black jeans.

"You look ravishing," Leo said looking and me from head to toe.

I giggled like a small girl at his compliment.

"You didn't tie your laces, let me." Before I could refuse him, Leo bent down and started to tie my laces. My hand was in front of my thighs preventing the chilling winds in the corridor to lift my frock.

As Leo tied both the laces he looked at me with still being seated on his one knee, I sometimes get lost in the trance that his green eyes make for me.

I was pulled back by the shuttering sound of the camera, just to see Jul holding her mobile phone and clicking our pictures my cheeks went red at this time as Leo stood up from the ground.

"I can't believe you, Leo, you are so in" before the sentence could complete Leo threw the basket near the door at Connor which resulted in Connor showing their middle finger to Leo.

What was Connor gonna say about that, I kept wondering as I picked up my purse from my room and made my way to the door. I said goodbye to both Connor and Jul.

Jul is staying in my apartment for a few days as her apartment has some electric wire changing so Connor just comes around for her to spend some time with her.

As I stepped out of the door Leo held my waist tightly and kissed me passionately and I kindly returned the kiss to him passionately too.

"What was that for?" I asked controlling my breath.

"They just make fun of me when I kiss you and you get flustered so easily, I just wanted to have you my way alone," Leo said and kissed my lips one more time.

We made our way to his car, Leo as always gentlemen helped me get in the car by opening the door for me and then closing it after.

"Leo I can't do this, what if your parents don't like me, then will you stop talking with me," I asked looking hopefully at him.

Leo just burst into laughter, "Savanah they have already loved you from day one, trust me they will never ask me to stop talking to you, and if they do will I run away with you." Leo said which put a big smile on my face.

The whole ride to Brooklyn Leo kept his hand interface with mine and sometimes brought the interlaced hands to his lips to kiss the back of my hand giving me mini butterflies.

We reached the big driveway of a big White House with a beautiful garden filled with roses. Before we get out of the car, I held Leo's hand tightly he looked at me.

"Did you tell your parents about what happened in Seattle?" I asked.

"No, it's your secret I am not going to tell it to anyone you can trust me okay!" Leo assured me with a kiss on my forehead which I seemed to believe.

"I know, let's go then." Leo nodded and grabbed the tiramisu container from the backseat that I had made for his parents.

Leo rang his parent's doorbell and soon after the bell the big mahogany door was opened by Vanessa.

"Oh dear, Savannah it's lovely to see you, you look just like Tinker Bell," Vanessa said which made me giggle and she instantly wrapped me into a hug.

"Hello to you to mother," Leo said after clearing his throat.

"Ahh, my meatball," Vanessa said giving him a hug too which instantly made Leo's cheek turn red with embarrassment.

"I am sorry I am just very excited, it's the first time, Leo has brought a girlfriend home, and when I came to know it was you, I just couldn't stop squealing," Vanessa said like a child.

"I brought some tiramisu if you don't mind," I said while forwarding the container, Vanessa gladly accepted it and thanked me by kissing me on the cheeks.

Both me and Leo looked at each other and smiled, his eyes were tender almost like his eyes were gonna spill something.

It seems to amaze me every time how Leo has different auras with people who work with him as the strict boss, for his family and friends he is playful and funny and for me he is goofy and flirtatious.

We made our way inside Leo's parent's house, the house was different shades of white and silver with at least 20 ft of the ceiling above.

Vanessa took us to the living area where we can see Ambrose cooking something in the kitchen, to say I was surprised was an understatement, I was shocked.

It's not like men don't cook, they cook but he looked so much different doing that, not feeling judged as if anyone will see him doing it.

Now I get it, Leo is just like his parents and I am happy that he is raised that way, it makes me proud that I have him with me.

"Ahh, my dear." Ambrose came forward still in his apron and hugged me. It feels so good feeling to be wanted by people, to be loved.

Since childhood, I have been devoid of this emotion by my parents but as I grew up, I am lucky to find people who loved me. Jul and her parents, Carl and Joanna, Dr Nolic and now Leo and his family.

"You guys are forgetting that you have a son," Leo said with a glint of sarcasm in his voice.

"Well, we meet our son on a daily it's not frequent that he has a brilliant and beautiful girlfriend, we are eagerly waiting to meet her so that one day when she realises who is she with and runs away we will not regret that we haven't met her," Ambrose said that made everyone chuckle even the maid who was setting the dinner on the table except Leo.

He had a frown on his face because of their remark, as he looked at me, his frown was not replaced with a sweet smile.

"I am not gonna run away from you," I whispered into Leo's ear and he wrapped his hands on my waist pulling me a little closer to him, "good I am neither planning to let you go." After saying that he placed a kiss on my earlobe.

"Come on children, come inside the dining area the food is ready," Vanessa called us and we made our way to the dining area.

Ambrose sat on the head chair with Vanessa on his right and Leo on his left and I sat next to Leo. The table was filled with different types of food, which was smelling so good, I even saw the tiramisu I made was also platted on the table which put a huge smile on my face.

"Dig in," Vanessa said.

As we all were about to start eating, the doorbell rang. "Are we expecting someone else Mamma?" Leo asked his mother who just nodded her head negative, she told the maid to go and check on the door.

"Ma'am it's Mr and Mrs Simpson with their daughter, he is saying that Mr Morello invited them for dinner tonight." The maid informed and the table was dropped dead silent.

Vanessa's face had a sign of worry as she was looking at Leo whereas Leo was looking at his plate with an irritated face.

"Ahh, I am sorry amore, I must have mixed the dates with them, forgive me I will send them away, I didn't mean to intrude them with you guys." Mr Morello stood up from his seat to go but I cut him off.

"It's okay, they must have come a long way here, it's just a dinner and the more the merrier," I said and still Vanessa's face was morphed into fear and Leo looked at me with a look saying 'are you sure'

"Are you sure dear," Ambrose asked me and I nodded my head yes. "Call them in then," Vanessa ordered.

I mean why would all the three were morphed into like some ghost was here it's only possible if--

"Hello, Leo." My thoughts were cut by the seductive voice of a girl.

It's only possible if she is Leo's ex.

Looking at his face, indeed she is his ex.
